Mania was about to kill two birds with one stone, or more like two snakes. She had two roses to deliver down in the dungeons so she stayed a bit longer after delivering the one for Hazel, but honestly though the dungeons weren't her favourite exactly. "Vanity Mettlestone! Rose for you!" She called out skimming the students with her eyes.

@Vanity Mettlestone

Vanity was kind of sick of the whole rose thing already, people got so sappy and silly about it. But when she left the common room and heard some little girl call her name, she still smiled. "That's me." She said. Though she thought the girl should know who she was, as both a Quidditch captain and a prefect.

Nia had no idea about mostof the prefects outside of her own house ones, when she learned about them she tended to forget instantly. It wasn't because they were important to know, she just had a fleeting mind and forgot a lot of details that mattered. When the girl identified herself she did recognize her, from the Qudditch field. She'd seen her in some of the games, but she didn't really care enough for the sport to invest in the teams or their players. Other than who was the cutest of course. "Oh! I have a rose for youu!" She announced, finding the red rose with its note. "Here you goo, it's redd that's fun!" Mania's tone was far too excited, but she tried to keep it down as to not come off too strong.
Useless

Vanity's eyebrows rose slightly as she saw the rose was a red one. She was on guard immediately, as she remembered June sending her mean roses this way before. So the note didn't shock her that much. It wasn't even a good insult. She made a show of sniffing the rose and smiling. She might as well milk the fact that she had a red rose, it looked like the real thing. "Thanks." She said, forcing herself to sound bright and happy.

Mania smiled brightly at the girl, glad she seemed to like it. The second year was completely oblivious to anything but the smile on the girls face. "You are welcome! By the way I love your hair!" It was true the girl seemed to have a very pretty and healthy hair. Maybe Nia should ask for her hair care routine, or perhaps not. Though she supposed she kind of had to keep going sooner rather than later.

Vanity smiled, genuinely appreciating the girl's comment. "Thanks." She said, tossing her hair over her shoulder. "Good luck with the rest."

Giving a smile to the older girl Nia nodded. "No worries and thank youu!" She said as she spun around to continue on her way.
