Zennon hadn't slept in, well, he wasn't totally sure to be honest. That would generally have implied he'd been sleeping at all. Two back-to-back overnights so far and there was no end in sight. Apparently creatures were all the rage now and every unsuspecting wizard or witch was getting pets they had no idea how to deal with. Who'd ever heard of a skreeler for a first pet if you'd never had one in your life? It was the dumbest thing he'd ever heard honestly. The details of all of it had blurred somewhere during all of it between someone who thought they had a quintaped bite (they didn't) and then a very irritable manticore tail swipe (it was a salamander). But that was from the sanctuary so he hadn't worried about asking too many questions, there was no mandatory reporting necessary for that. He mostly was just trying to get through all of it.

He headed out at the end of his shift, thankful to take a day and get some fresh air, maybe some coffee before he had to head home to sleep for a moment and then get some proper sleep. The street was bustling more than he was used to, probably due to the back to school sales a couple of the places had on, wands, books, robes and all that, the morning energy was vibrant, and he might’ve walked right past her if it weren’t for the familiar mop of hair, and the even more familiar scorch mark running across her arm. “Merlin, Dani, again?” he sighed as he walked up to her and reached into his robes for his wand. “Hold still, this will only hurt a moment,” he said, because his brain, utterly fried as it was, hadn’t yet caught up to the fact they weren’t in his examination room in the hospital and were in fact, out in a public street.

Daniella probably should have known better than to attempt to cook. But attempting to cook was also a normal thing by now. It was just really an ongoing hope that perhaps this time she'd come out with something edible. Of course, that has yet to happen. She frequently ended up with charred remains of whatever she tried to cook up. Which was both sad and unsurprising really. Well, she could cook but the best she could do were those that were cooked over fire. Grilled or roasted... on open fire. Ovens and stoves, she hadn't managed yet. Anyway, she had come out on to the Harbour to buy more ingredients - or just cooked food really - since her attempt was a bust and she'd even managed to have her arm touch the side of the open hot oven so perhaps burn paste would help as well. Not that the pain was noticeable much being so used to worse burns than this. She'd been about to enter a shop when she heard a familiar voice call her name and it didn't even take long before she was face-to-face with her healer. "Healer Baros?" she asked confused, especially with his wand already in hand and marching up to her like a man on a mission, eyes trained on the burn on her arm. "Oh! This! This is not..." her protests would have continued further except it was completely futile.
