Zared had been rather on the fence about whether or not to actually go to the Valentines day dance, he felt like he had done enough in just sending a rose to Elysia, but he definitely wanted to actually attend the event with her too, Zared had sent her a pink rose, indicating that he liked her. Though Zared was fairly sure he'd been quite obvious about it. He had stopped really hiding it, though he had been trying to come up with a way of knowing if she felt the same way so that he could know what to do next. The slytherin had put on his suit, the same one as for the yuleball and was stood at the entrance to the great hall, sure that if she was to arrive it would be by that door and it would be the opportunity he would need to invite her to dance with him. He was so keen on that. So eager for her to arrive. He hadn't left his name on the note, leaving it anonymous, but Zared was sure that Elysia would figure it out, he was hopeful that she would. The boy just wanted to spend the evening dancing with her, to be silent around her and never feel like she needed him to say anything. If she danced with him, it would easily make his night.

Going to the dance was not on the list of things to do, considering. However, from the indication of the pink rose, Elysia Styx had her answer. Therefore, she put on one of her favorite dresses that goes down to her ankles and dawned on her heels. She had the pink rose in hand and walked down from the towers, all the way down to the first floor. Soon enough, she found the one she was looking for. Elysia approached Zared, who was looking as sharp as he did during the Yule Ball. Elysia approached him and held up the pink rose. She gave a subtle smile before she spoke, "Anonymous. One word. The more important message to me, was the color." Elysia knew that he liked her, and since she did not bother with the whole rose thing. She looked down at the rose once more, knowing that he did not know how she felt. She placed her hand upon his cheek, and pressed her lips to his. She pulled away before muttering, "It is mutual." Elysia moved her hand to his shoulder, not sure if she wanted to dance. She wanted to simply spend time with him. After all, dances and whatnot were not her thing because of the crowd, the possibility of getting interrupted. However, Elysia also appreciated knowing that she often had the best person on her arm.
