OOCOut of Character:
This was suppose to have been posted a while ago, but the time stamp doesn't really matter. It's a New Year's party and those who know Jenna or her friends with her friends are invited. Any association whatsoever are invited, whether we roleplay together or not. The point is to have a party and cause some trouble, perhaps. She is a baddie after all. Also, I'm a little rusty from writing, forgive us if we're not all that great.

Jenna stood in the middle of her apartment, checking everything out and making sure everything was in its place. The brunette, latina had tons of balloons floating down from the ceiling and a banner hanged that spelled out NEW YEAR in gold writing. There was champagne bottles shoved in buckets of ice for refreshment with glass cups circling the buckets floating on by. For food, Jenna kept it minimalistic, having empanadas of all kinds sorted at a nearby table. She wasn't hosting a dinner, just a party to bring in the new year with Baron and her friends. If they wanted more than what she was offering, there was always churros laid out next to the gold platter of empanadas. That was it. They better be glad she suggested having this party, from what she was told no one had plans to celebrate. When did I start hanging out with boring squares? Jenna thought at the time. Satisfied with her efforts, the brunette flicked her wand to start the music playing from a sound system. "Let's go," she grinned, the music blasted surrounding her.

She had finished the finale of Don Quichotte and had changed clothes after. Yvette didn't bothered about the after party, she apparated from the back alley of the Opera House to New Zealand. The woman was invited to a party, a party held by a dearest friend's sister. Yvette came because maybe she could settle something with her brother. It was far too long of being a chicken and thinking. She landed inside an apartment hallway, she looked around, nobody was there. Yvette tried to remember the apartment number and hoping she got it right. The woman walk a little further and found the apartment she was aiming to visit. She knocked twice and waited, nervous.

With the meeting running a bit late, Baron was almost ready to apparate right from his chair at the ministry. Things were quite busy as the department got the plans straightened out for the No-maj's electoral campaigns. Sure it was a muggle thing but the ministry was worried some wizards would cause trouble during those times. Finally out of the ministry, the hit wizard made his way to the only deserted alley, disguised as a shabby-looking pub. From there, he apparated to NZ, right in the hallway of his girlfriend's apartment. Flicking at an invisible lint off his shoulder, he sauntered to the apartment, saw a woman standing outside. He grinned, recognizing her as Joshua's special friend. "Hello there. Yvette, si?", he greeted as he came to stand next to her. He snapped his fingers, a bouquet of flowers appeared in his hand.

Jenna heard the knocking at the door, the witch apparated right in front of her apartment's entrance to let her arriving guests in. "Come in! Maxwell, amor," the brunette jumped into her lover's arms. The reaction came from their time apart. Their schedule spending time together was a mess, so, it was an appropriate response not seeing Baron often as she liked. Besides, she could care less who was around. Jenna graced him with a deep kiss, grinning from ear to ear afterward. "Vino! You came, welcome to my humble abode," Jenna invited them inside. "Still waiting for more people to come, for now, you guys are the first to arrive."

Joshua caught the end of his sister's greeting before she lock the door behind them. "Rude, Jenna! Hermanita, open up," Joshua knocked on the thick wood. A second later his sister open up, but, not to welcome him as she did with her previous guests. "Mala, is that how you treat your only brother," Joshua calls in the apartment. The reporter set down a full bottle of coquito gifted to him by a dear friend of his from San Juan, Puerto Rico. The man said to Joshua it's a good drink to bring in the New Year, promising good taste and a buzz if one was looking for that sort of combination. "Jenna, oh hey, Yevette? Yvette Maxwell," the man recognizes the woman right away. His eyes widen as he smiled excitedly, haven't seen Yvette in ages. "How are you it's been a while?"

Simon had been invited to a new years celebration by Josh, he was disappointed that Charlotte wouldn't be able to join him. But it was because she was busy working, and he was still be able to go along. He hadn't really known Josh's sister that well, but he was interested in going to a party, letting loose, and being able to party a little. He had the address and arrived at the door. He straightened out his suit and then knocked on the door. The part-veela was very ready to get start on the celebratiion.

If Amaya was being completely honest, she hadn't been to a party in a long while. Or ever, really. None that she really tried to be social for. But when she'd gotten the invitation to go to her old dorm mates party, she hadn't been able to pass it up. She'd actually bought a dress for this. She showed up a bit later than some of the others, seeing a familiar face waiting at the door. "Hey, Simon right?" She asked. Hadn't he been head boy at some point? Maybe she misremembered. @Simon Vanity

Baron spun his girlfriend before giving her yet another kiss. One kiss would never be enough for the man. "Mi amor, gorgeous as always.", he complimented, taking the time to glance around as she moved to open the door to her brother. "Joshua, hey man.", he greeted him. It had been a while since they first met at the harbour, he wondered if he was still as worried as before when it came to Jenna. He was even surprised that the invitation came out of the blue. He heard the knock on the door and told Jenna he would open it instead. The door revealed another man, he was their head boy back when Joshua was still in Hogwarts. Beside him was someone who had recently become one of his favorite people. "Amaya! Come in!", he burst out. "Hello, Simon!" He looked back inside to the group. "We've got more people!", he announced.

"That's great, got any room for another bro," Kace apparated on the spot, greeting the small bunch in typical Kace's fashion. He strolls confidently over, bouncing on the ball of his feet to dap his brother's hand up. It's been some time since he last seen his twin face to face. They kept in touch no doubt, making the effort to corresponds in letters and notes. Unless a family emergency arise, their conflicting schedules made it difficult to visit each other. He smiles, bringing the twin in for a semi-embrace. "Hey Amaya, nice to see you here," his gaze wander to former Slytherin, his ex-girlfriend. They were suppose to be more on friendlier terms, or so he hopes so. "Simon, sup? Let me get in there," Kace pushed past them, entering the apartment where the party was just getting started.

Just as Baron announced to the group about newcomers, he just heard the most familiar voice that belonged to the most familiar face in his world. "Kace!", his hand meeting his before being pulled into an embrace. He missed him, glad to know he would be seeing a lot of friends at the party. "Come in, come in.", he ushered them, winking at Amaya playfully as she passed by him.

Noelle was thinking he was already running late. He just received a text from Yvette asking if he was on the way. He shot a message to Alexis wondering if the woman would also go. Knowing Joshua would be there and Jenna and the Auror were good friends, his best friend would also get an invite. His phone pinged just as he arrived at the lobby and was going up. He smiled, Alexis was on her way and even asked to text her when he got to the door and whether the hallways were empty. He smirked, knowing what she was up to. He got to where it was happening and sent the requested text. He stood there, waiting for her.

Alexis gave up. Xavier and she were arguing about her schedule and she was a bit annoyed that Joshua's name kept dragged into it. She thought the party would be a much-needed break for both of them and she was even excited to tell him, however, it made things escalate. Xavier refused to go and even bluntly told her that she wanted to go there because of Joshua. "I'm still going, sweetheart. Our friends will be there. You know where to find me.", she said defeatedly as she grabbed her keys and kissed him on the cheek, her long hair brushed lightly on his shoulders. She looked at him one last time, the man pointedly looking at his laptop, not meeting her gaze. She left, making her way to the deserted hallway just close by. She got a message from Noelle making her smile. Typing in a reply, she looked both ways before pulling out her wand. Sure, she could perform magic wandless but she would not be risking it tonight, not with the much more focus it required. Another ping and she read its contents before turning on the spot, disapparating.

She landed smoothly, a new set of hallways materialized in front of her. "Noelle!", she greeted her friend as she approached him with a hug, smiling despite being a bit down because of what happened at home. She nodded at the man, letting him do the knocking. She wondered if it would be @Joshua Toubia who would open for them. It would be exciting to see his reaction to their presence.

Amaya had barely had a moment to step forward when Kace had pushed past her to get inside with some sort of half hearted greeting. She bit back a sigh, rolling her eyes at both his antics and Baron's. She offered the latter half of a smile, walking inside with the others. It was times like this she remembered how jealous she'd always been of Baron and Jenna. Jenna was treated like a queen. And as usual, Kace was too wrapped up in his own ego. She found a drink, before trying to find a place to be that was out of the way and not awkward. Why had she agreed to come to this? She knew everyone here, but she wasn't sure what to say to any of them. She sipped the cocktail she'd managed to get her hands on, finding a nice seat and tucking her legs beneath her, mostly just watching the crowd interact.

While waiting for someone to open the door, another familiar person arrived. She nod as the man said her name, "Oui! Monsieur, how are you?" She greeted the man who just whipped out flowers out of nowhere. The neighborhood was still a muggle territory and cameras are all over the hallway. But she ignored it as the door opened which the hostess came out and greeted them. Yvette smiled at Jenna and while she kept a civil face, once the latter saw her significant other, Yvette made a fart noise through her mouth as she tried to keep from laughing.

Once ushered inside, they settled at the foyer of the apartment. Another knock on the door came and the person who graced that door was the man she wanted to see. Everything seems to be on a slow motion, right out of the movies. Yvette only snapped out of it when he called her,
"Josh, yes, been awhile." She continued. "I-I I'm doing great, finally a ballet soloist. And you? Where have you been?" Yvette stammered a bit but she regain herself by playing casual. Her smiling face became of concern when she saw the people coming in at the apartment. She had thought only a couple of guest would arrive.
