Sara walked out to the courtyard. She had been looking for Willow all morning, all over the castle. She'd even gotten some Gryffindor boys to check the common room for her, but to no avail. She sighed, sitting in one of the arches in the courtroom. "I'll never find her." she sighed.

She and Willow were quite good friends, but they hadn't seen each other in a while, abd Sara missed her. Willow was so sunshiney and bright, and though she didn't know how to bring it up-she wanted to know how Willow was dealing with ehr illness. They had a lot to catch up on. "I should've just sent an owl." she murmered to herself, with a cringe-why hadn't she thought of it-and it was too late now-Willow probably had things to do by now, places to go, but she'd been so sure that today was the day to seek out her old friend.

She stood up and began to walk out of the courtyard. She had glee club meetings to organise, she needed to practice for quidditch-maybe she'd find Willow tommorow and they could catch up. It had been so long since she'd spoken to her, she was feeling as though she was losing her friends, but the two people she felt closest to, were Willow and Stefan-even thyough Stefan kept so many secrets that she hardly knew a thing about his life and it wasn't likely he was going to tell her. She sighed and began to walk out the door.

Willow sat on the stone furniture that was placed in the courtyard. On the contrary, they looked pretty uncomfortable to sit on but knowing that the magical world is full of surprises, they were surprisingly comfortable. The thirteen year girl sat cross legged, a jar of bluebell flames sat nearby, warming up the enclosed space she was sitting in. Book in hand, Willow read. She wasn't even interested in the book but having it there anyway kept her mind off the problems she was dealing with and the nagging thoughts that plagued her. She was still questioning why she was even at Hogwarts but her Uncle insisted it was her Education that mattered and that is why she was here. Turning the page of her book she skim read the pages, it was one her favorite books - Black Beauty. She missed her beautiful horse at home, she missed the way how she could just get up, put on her riding helmet and ride along the beautiful countryside that she was so privileged to live in.

It seemed like hours Willow has been sitting there, before she even picked up the book she was too busy thinking about Stefan and Kate and their obvious friendly tension with each other. It was very obvious that they were still in love with each other. The Yule Ball was awkward in points for Willow, she felt she could have just up'd and left and nothing would actually have changed for them. But it wasn't Willow's place to play matchmaker, she had been away for so long that Willow wouldn't have known if there was anything else to the story. She was also pretty worried for Stefan, although she could have been wrong for questioning that Stefan was being abused by his father, there was a small lingering doubt that her intuition was right. Kate on the other hand, she just wished she got along with Sara. Her mind drifted back to Sara - Where was Sara? Willow hasn't seen Sara ever since she came back, nor Vayne or anyone else for that matter. She couldn't remember if she and Sara left in good terms last times she saw her, and she was half hoping that they were still friends - she couldn't handle anymore awkward situations anymore. She just wanted to feel a little free while being at a place like this.

Closing her book, purely because she wasn't even reading it anymore, she gave a deep sigh. Thinking about what she was going to do for the rest of the day, it was only morning and Willow already ran out of things to do. Her mind drifted to the violin that was sitting in her dorm but she wasn't in the mood to do that. She could always go and say hello to the Kitchen elves again - she was pretty sure they missed her but maybe she would do that later. Tapping her fingers on the book, she stared at the flames in the jar, blue flames were beautiful but most of the students think they were pretty un-natural. ...just like me right now huh? She sat there staring at the jar for what seemed like hours before diverting her gaze to the entrance to Hogwarts, students were coming in and out, but none of them were people she knew. She was about to go back into her book before she saw a familiar face. Feeling a little bit braver she waved one her arms and called out to her friend; "Sara! Over here!". She felt the pit of her stomach drop and Willow moved in discomfort, why was she so nervous again?

Sara had pretty much given up hope of finding her friend. She let her mind drift back to thoughts of her first glee club meeting. Her sister had shown up-which she hadn't thought Kate would have the nerve to do. Their friend had told Sara things about Kate, she wasnt sure if they were true, but she knew Kate must have belived what she'd been told about Sara. Well, at least that's what Sara told herself. She didn't really care too much that her and Kate weren't friends now, they were almost strangers-strangers who knew everything about each other. So, she had immersed herself in work. Starting the glee club, joining Heta Omega and taking on a new position on the quidditch team. Still, she really wished Kate hadn't come to glee.

She was just walking out when a voice called out to her. She turned arund, and saw the familiar lue eyes, the beautiful, dark hair. "Willow!" she exclaimed and ran over to greet her friend. "It's been so long since I've seen you!" she grinned, hugging Willow tightly, but gently. she felt slightly guilty-her and Willow had been out of touch and it was mostly her fault-she'd been very busy lately. "How are you?" she asked, excitedly, sitting down beside her. "And don't just say 'fine', beause that's what's expected." she added, with a devilish grin. She was only partially joking. She really did want to know how Willow was, and how she was dealing with her illness. She still wasn't sure exactly wht it was, hopefully they could talk about it today. "You look great." she smiled, looking Willow up and down-the last time she'd seen Willow, she'd been out of control, though luckily her rage hadn't been directed at her-and most of what she'd said was true.

She smiled, seeing the book in Willow's hands, she'd read Black beauty many times, and loved it-when she was a kid she'd loved the movie, and when she was older she'd come to love the book, it had been a long time since she'd read it, maybe she should dig it out of her bookshelf and read it again. "How're you liking the option subjects?" she asked, wondering what Willow had chosen-she'd only chosen the subjects for an auror, and she loved it. It was her plan for her future. She liked the idea of being able to help people, while kicking some Death-eater ass.

It wasn't long until she endured Sara's happiness but she also felt a little sad for her. Willow only wished her return to Hogwarts came with more happier news. She pictured arriving back and there was Stefan, Sara and Kate and everyone else giggling and laughing and having a great old time like they were having back in their first year. She couldn't argue with the fact that because she was away for so long, things were going to change - with or without Willow's interference, but perhaps it was still early days, maybe Kate and Sara can bridge their relationship and become the bubbly and outgoing twins that they were known for. Willow thought there was still hope for the both of them to patch up their relationship and it was going to be a fight that Willow was prepared to go through - just to see the two of them happy again. She wondered what kind of things that have been going through Sara's life, she knew Kate was still attracted to Stefan and she's much happier now but Willow never heard what was going on in Sara's life - perhaps she's much happier too?

"Hi Sara!....I know It's been...ages, but I'm fii-goood" Willow laughed and gave her old friend a hug, she missed Sara. A lot, she had a huge amount of respect for the Ravenclaw, she was the person she confided to when they discussed about Stefan's background and trying to help Kate through her eating disorder, the pair of them made great detectives who were sleuthing at the wrong ideas most of the time; "Life has been busy...I only just returned to Hogwarts, but I'm having a good time." Willow smiled, in her mind, she wondered if the smile was genuine enough for Sara not to question why she wasn't here in the past semester or even ask about how her holidays were. But Willow hated lying to her friends, she hated lying to herself - but it was clearly obvious that Willow wasn't ready to be back at Hogwarts at all. To distract herself, she wanted to get back in touch with her friends and complete her school work - that was her priority, her private life would have to wait later.

"I'm doing Muggle Studies and Divination this semester....Muggle Studies is fun, I like it but I haven't had Divination yet so, I'm not really sure how that is going to go. I've heard a bit about it, but I'm not sure I'm going to enjoy it but we'll have to see. How about you?" Willow questioned, her goal at Hogwarts was to be an academic success, but at the moment that was failing, but she still upheld her dreams of becoming at Gryffindor Prefect and even becoming the school Head Girl - that was her ambition in life for the young gryffindor and she strived to make sure that dream succeeded. But it wasn't her only dream, she dreamed to come back to Hogwarts to become a School Nurse or even working at St Mungo's to help other people, but she also had a small dream of becoming a Muggle studies professor, her class with Professor Zhefarovich really inspired her. But they were dreams that were current, she wasn't sure what dreams she would be having by the time she reached her seventh year. It seemed so far away and she couldn't see what direction her life would take, after all, she still had a lot of growing up to do.

Sara was so delighted to see Willow. She'd worried about her, and her illness, but she didn't want to upset Willow by talking about it. It would've been the kind of thing she'd have discussed with Kate, but she felt no need to involve her sister anymore. she couldn't believe Kate had believed the rumours about her, but also she felt guilty that she had believed the rumours about Kate. Maybe it was just meant to be, one thing was sure she was trying her best to stay away from Kate, which would probably make it awkward with her friends. She was happy to see Willow though-she was one of her best friends-ever. She had been neglecting them lately, thinking that maybe Kate would've told them the rumours about her, but she knew she was wrong to think that, she may not like Kate, but her sister wouldn't do that to her.

"Oh, I've missed you." she grinned, hugging Willow back and laughing at the same time. "I'm so sorry I haven't been around, but I've joined Heta Omega, the quidditch team, Hogwarts Monthly, plus I've set up the new Glee club, so I've been pretty busy." she sighed, looking up at Willow with a tinkle in her eye. she was trying not to let her extra-cirricular activities affect her schoolwork, but she hadn't been doing as well as she could lately, which was something she would have to sort out herself. She was curious, but didn't want to push her, if Willow didn't want to tell her-she didn't have to. No pressure. So, she didn' qestion her further. "I bet your glad to be back, it must mean your getting better." she smiled, looking seriously into Willows eyes, for some kind of clue, but she knew that she was ushing it, so moved on.

"Cool, I could never get the hang of Divination, I just chose the subjects for an auror." she grinned, that was her ambition, become an auror. they pprotected the weak, battled the evil and did good all over the world. They were a bit like superheroes, in her eyes. She also thought of maybe teaching, here in Hogwarts, but she didn't know yet, what she'd end up doing. It was so far away. "Have you seen Stefan yet?" she asked, curious whether or not she'd seen her other best-friend.
