Open Last Best?

Evelyn had been preparing this moment for so long. While thinking of it, made her sad though also had something joyfull. It would be the last dance for her and all her other classmates. But the blonde had enjoyed her time around this school so much that she had to do her make-up again after some times. The tears where for realising what she was gonna miss here so much and the fact she would never have a dance around here anymore. People could think it was overreacted, but for Evelyn it ment a big deal. She was happy with her life right now and saw this all as something important in her life. The blonde sighted for a moment while looking in the mirror. And told herself that she should enjoy this over crying. She was sure that Lucas was early done than she was. Evelyn needed to talk to Lucas about their future soon, how would they organize things? Where would they work and how would their life together look? Evelyn knew what she wanted but was it the same that Lucas wanted? So many things to think of and so less time still. This year was flowing by. But right now it was time for the Valentines Dance and they would celebrate their love for eachother. And Evelyn hoped to so many more friends there. When she was ready she walked towards the Great Hall and looked out for her boyfriend who would wait there. She was curious how he looked today.

Lucas couldn't believe it was already time for his final dance at the school. He had a lot of good memories associated with the dances, and some not so good. It would definitely be a school event he would miss. For the Valentines dance Lucas usually went for a more casual look but he knew with it being their last dance together Evelyn would be going all out and he had to raise his game to her level as much as possible. Lucas pulled on his suit and stood in front of the mirror as he fastened his tie and slipped into his jacket, he looked good, there was no sense in being modest and denying the fact. He knew Evelyn would be pleased.

With his suit on and looking sharp, Lucas made his way down to the Great hall where he would be meeting Evelyn. Lucas always looked forward to seeing his girlfriend in a new dress, somehow Evelyn always raised her game and no matter how good she had looked before, with each new dance and new dress, she continued to be a knockout. Once he laid eyes on her his jaw almost hit the floor but he quickly regained his composure. Lucas quickly cut through the crowd to get to his girlfriend. "You look red carpet ready my love," He smiled at her as he planted a soft kiss on her cheek.

Evelyn had pictured this night a million times the previous weeks. She wanted all to be perfect. Her dress was perfect, her hair was perfect her make-up check. And now the perfect date would be there too. The blonde thought of herself as lucky. Lucas and she had ups and downs at this school, but where they were now was most important. When she noticed her date she smiled bright. When Lucas saw her he started smiling too. Evelyn quickly walked over to him and smiled. And the way he charmed her already with this only sentence was just the best proof that she loved him so much. The blonde looked at her date for a moment and checked him out. And than planted a kiss on his mouth. '' Thanks Luc. You are the most handsome man here. I am a lucky girl. Everything is perfect.'' Evelyn smiled at her boyfriend and took his hand. She couldn't wait to dance with him. Than Evelyn looked around the room and was silent for a moment. Don't cry don't cry. She told herself but it was emotional for the girl. '' I just.. can't believe it's our last.'' The blonde said and sighted. But than was distracted by a familliar blonde that looked amazing. '' Wait is that Emilia? With a boy?'' The blonde said excited. Evelyn smiled proud and was glad for her cousin.
'' Isn't love beautiful?'' Evelyn than said to Lucas while being caught up in the moment.

Lucas smiled at his date as she complimented him in return. "Only the best for my baby," He squeezed her hand as she took hold of, she was right everything was perfect. They were coming to the end of seven years at the school but Lucas had never been happier, he had the girl, sure his grades were in the toilet but he didn't care, everything was falling into place for him. Lucas had expected Evelyn to get a little emotional, it was the end of an era after all but her attention was soon drawn elsewhere as she saw her cousin Emilia with a boy, the younger girl seemed to blush and hide her face a lot, whatever was happening with her and the boy it was clear she liked him. "They look cute together," Lucas mused with a sudden surge of affection for Evelyn's cousin that he wasn't used to. "Lets hope he treats her well," Lucas added with a little menace in his tone. He wasn't exactly going to go around threatening thirteen year old boys, but he was overcome with a sudden wave of protectiveness for his girlfriend's cousin. "Yeah, love is the best, especially ours,"

Evelyn was lucky with Lucas at her side. The blonde was at a point where she could forgive herself for ending things with Noah. She knew that Professor Kingsley was professional, but the blonde was always wondering if the woman would blame her for hurting her son. Noah wanted to ends things too, but knowing that she moved on with Lucas quickly would be hurting for him she guessed. Evelyn still hoped to be friends one day, but she had to give the boy time. When Lucas said that she deserved the best Evelyn smiled and gave him a kiss on his cheek quickly. Evelyn kept looking at her cousin and smiled. Evelyn didn't really knew the date from Emilia so well, but he did looked cute. All she knew was that he played quidditch. '' They sure do. Time is flying. Emilia and Athena are both growing up so fast.'' Evelyn responded with a bit of emotion in her voice. Why did she sounded so old? But she was a seventh year now and would leave Hogwarts soon. And be working in the big world around Hogwarts New Zealand. It was exciting but also scary. The blonde grinned at Lucas being charmer and protective.
'' That's sweet of you. You should come to Denmark soon to meet the whole family. I'm sure Emilia is fine.'' Evelyn said to her boyfriend and saw it already in front of her. It was not a moment to discuss the future now, but the blonde still wondered how the couple would manage things after school. Did Lucas even knew what he wanted to do? She agreed with her boyfriend, everyone could see how in love they were. Evelyn didn't cared much what people thought, she wouldn't change the way she was. Her friends were protective of her when it came to Lucas, but she hoped that they would be happy for her too. But she had a feeling that would be fine. '' Your sister is around here somewhere too right? She is in Heta Omega and came up with the idea to paint the whole school pink. She is very excited. I like her.'' The blonde said while laughing a bit. Evelyn than put her arms around her boyfriends neck and started to slow dance. They could dance and talk. But she was gonna enjoy this very much.
