It had been a relatively long day for the fifth year Slytherin, learning about the Creatures for her exams this year. It had been difficult to decide what she even wanted to take at all, and as she continued to question whether a Profession in Quidditch was for her, Kimmy found it increasingly difficult to focus on anything else acedemic.
She'd been sending so many letters out from the owlery recently it was a rare occurance to find Kimmyeon in the Great Hall in the evenings. On this occasion however, Kimmy sat at the Slytherin table and mindlessly played with her food; This evening's treat was classic toad in the hole and mash potatos. Her fork prodding the white substance aimlessly as her thoughts drifted through her future after Hogwarts. It was only when her sister approached the table that Kimmy snapped out of it, not yet comfortable discussing the subject with Soonkyu. The first year was having a hard time settling into school, and Kimmy didn't want to make anything worse than it already was.
Giving her a brief smile, she pushed another plate of food towards her, glad for the company but hoping she wouldn't have too much to say. Just as most evenings, Kimmy didn't feel like being social, and instead hoped for a quiet and peaceful end to her day.

Approaching the Slytherin table in the Great Hall, Soon easily found her sister. She was the one on her own. Obviously. Soonkyu had no idea why she didn't just make a couple of friends so she didn't look like a complete loner, but silently rolled her eyes as she threw down her bag under the bench, and sat opposite her sibling. She scoffed as Kimmyeon pushed food towards her. She couldn't feed herself now? She may have been one of the youngest in her family but it was getting on Soonkyu's nerves that no one, not even Isaac, yet considered her able enough to handle herself. She sighed, trying to resist the subject, and pushed on to more pressing issues.

"I found this." She announced loudly, throwing a crumpled piece of paper across the table at her sister. Soonkyu didn't make a habit of being subtle, but it had been incredibly easy to gain access to her sister's dormatory. On locating her bedside, there had been a handful of parchment stuffed in every crevas of her nightstand, and Soonkyu, as every younger sister would, began to snoop through her sister's private thoughts.

"I didn't realise just how much you hated us" she said matter of factly, referring to the particular crumpled letter she had now revealed. Apparently Kimmy was keeping more secrets than she led to believe, and after finding evidence that she was in contact with a student outside the school, telling him things about their family that had no place to hear, the first year found this to be too unacceptable to not bring up. "Care to explain?" She said, forcing her sister between a rock and a hard place.

Kimmy's stomach turned to knots the moment Soon dumped the parchment in front of her plate. She sat frozen for a moment. Those letters were private. She glared up at her sisters umimpressed face, unable to speak for a few seconds. Eventually, she found her voice. "How dare you." She was a lot more angry than she cared to admit, even to herself. She may not have hid her letters to and from Anton very well, but she had had no reason to believe her sister would ever snoop in her room. "That was not for you to read" She added, grabbing the letter and stuffing it back into her jacket. This is why she didn't trust anyone. The moment they knew your secrets they'd turn it against you.

"Why don't you just keep your nosey little head away from me" She wanted to shout, but given the number of people at the table that evening it would have been an unfortunate move. "You don't understand what it's like." She added, still staring at Soonkyu. She wished she'd been sorted into another house like their brother. It was bad enough that they had to go to the same school together, now that Kimmy had to see her stupid family most days it was becoming unbearable. Anton was the only person she felt like she could talk to, and she would never apologise for opening up to him about the people she grew up with.

Soonkyu snorted when Kimmyeon told her the letters weren't for her to read. Of course not, but that didn't mean she would never end up reading them. Didn't she know you should always be prepared for information to get out to others? Soonkyu pulled the plate of food towards her, using her spoon to start eating her mash potato. Argument or not she had no plan on going hungry tonight. She reached over and took a sip of water, waiting for Kimmyeons reply.

Just as she was able to take another bite of sausage and potato, Kimmy murmmered something about not understand what it was like. "What are you even talking about?" Soonkyu practically shouted, not caring now if anyone heard. Kimmy had crossed the line. Soonkyu stood up quickly, spoon still in hand. "Do you have any idea what kind of priviledges you've had?" She yelled, looking down at the blonde, utterly confused as to how the fifth year could possibly see herself as anything but completely lucky. "At least mum and dad notice you. They actually care what you do and whether you get grades, or on the quidditch team. It's not my fault you're too blind to notice the people who care about you, and yet you just take it out on us!" She shouted, beginning to fling the spoon around. "I hate you. You're so selfish" Soonkyu had a moment of adrenaline, and in one frantic motion the potato that was nestled once in her silver spoon, found its way flying through the air, before landing perfectly on the collar bone of her sister.

Kimmy's stupid sister was drawing so much attention to them, she was surprised a Professor hadn't already come over to find out what was going on. "Can you keep your mouth shut" She whispered angrily, hoping she would sit down again so they talk about this properly. Her parents did not care in the way Soonkyu was talking about, and Kimmy just had to make her see it. She was about to tell her to sit when the dirty first year managed to get some of her dinner on her, and Kimmy made a noise like a sick hippogryff when she looked down to see the mound of food that had landed on her. "You are disgusting." She stated, matter of factly, taking one hand and trying to scoop the food off her. She did not like mess, least of all other people's mess. With the potato balancing on a couple of fingers, she flicked it back towards her sibling, trying to make her feel just as bad as she'd make her feel. "Eww" She said quietly, wiping her hand on her trousers. Maybe she'd just leave, she didn't need her sister badgering her like this right now, she had too much else going on in her life to worry about her aswell.

Odette was in a bad mood. She had just gotten a letter from her mother, which tended to put her in said mood. She had asked about her grades and reminded her sternly that Quidditch was not the sort of thing a lady like her should be doing, making her feel a strange mixture of shame and anger. Shame because she was going against her mother's wishes and anger because part of her was starting to feel like she was right about Odette being no good at it. She was an alternate beater, which wasn't unexpected, but after seeing the match between Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw she was starting to doubt like she was good enough even for that. It also didn't help that she hadn't spotted either of her new friends in Slytherin yet, which made her have to eat alone like some sort of loser.

Halfway through the meal, she suddenly felt something land on her face and hair. She wiped it off with a disgusted sound. Ewww, potato. She hoped it was mashed potato and not chewed potato. With a look of utter contempt she reached over to the younger of the two girls that seemed to be the source of this food and wiped the mashed potato on her clothes without ceremony. "You dropped this." She snapped. "Please keep your disgusting eating habits to yourself, thanks." She plucked a last bit of (hopefully) mashed potato from her own hair and flicked it into the girl's face before turning back to her own plate. She hated it when people messed with her hair, and getting food in it was just repulsive.

Soonkyu had no intention of being quiet. Her sister had gotten away with being the most self centered, self entitled person in their family for way too many years. The first year was fuming, her body almost shaking in anger as the suppressed emotions that she'd held back for years were seemingly exploding the more she spoke out loud. She hadn't meant to throw food at her sister, but right now she really didn't care either. The spud seemed to be passed around however when it landed on a fellow Slytherin sitting nearby, and Soonkyu flinched away as the girl started to wipe it on her clothes. "Get off me" She yelled, her body trying to move away from her as she smeared it across her sweater. How dare she, try to get involved in something that didn't concern her.

Glancing down at the table, it didn't take long to spot something, that gave Soon an idea. Jelly and ice cream was the plan for dessert, and small bowls had been placed up and down the table for the students. Taking her hand, she quickly scooped up one roll of vanilla ice cream, not even noticing the temperature through her anger. "That was so unneccesary" She said, wiping her own hand, now covered in ice cream, through the hair of the Slytherin. Serves her right.

Odette hadn't really expected the girl to retaliate. She was a first year, clearly, and Odette had figured that being a year older would be enough to discourage her from trying anything in return. After all, she had only returned the food that this girl had thrown in the first place. Clearly she had been wrong. She wasn't paying attention as the girl grabbed ice cream until she was smearing it into her hair. Odette let out a small shriek of horror, recoiling and trying to move away from the other girl. "EW! Stop that!" She shouted, pushing at her arm. In her struggle to get away from the girl she knocked a bowl off the table into another person's lap, but she didn't care right now. Odette was seeing red with anger. The ice cream in her hair was already making it all stick together and it was COLD, melting into her neck. She grabbed a the nearest thing ,a small pie, and threw it back at the girl in blind rage, not caring about how this would influence her reputation at school for once. This girl needed to pay.

Ray was minding her own business, eating her lasagne and chips, when her attention was caught by several students a little way down the table initiating what appeared to be a food fight. Nice. Ray had heard about the one in Rudolf and Reuben's first year, but she hadn't had the pleasure of experiencing that one. "Hey," she said, picking up an entire fruit cheesecake and nudging Diane, who was sat next to her. "Food fight." With that, she shoved the dessert straight into her friend's face.

All she'd done was fling a little potato, and suddenly no less than 5 students were throwing food around like it was a damn competition. "Stop it!" She yelled at Soonkyu, whom she had just witnessed purposely ruin the hair of an innocent civilian.

She stood from her own bench, just in time to witness another student throwing a fresh fruit cheesecake into another's face. This was getting out of hand, fast. Noticing that her sister was about to retaliate, Kimmy frantically leaned across the table to try and grab her, knocking over the goblets of water in the process. They hit the table with a crash, water pouring across the table and onto the floor, soaking the fifth years jeans in the process. She recognised the girl that Soonkyu had attacked from the quidditch team, and knew that she was impatient. Just as Kimmy's fingers made contact with her younger sisters clothing, she ducked her head down quickly as a pie came hurtling through the hair, and avoiding it, she hoped it wouldn't sail too far. "Soonkyu stop" She repeated, clambering across the table in order to pin down her sister. If she were free to decide, Kimmy knew there would be no hope to stop her getting involved in any kind of fight. This was not the evening she had planned.

Soonkyu's reactions were faster. She dodged out of the way of the pie that the Slytherin girl flung towards her, just as she felt someone grip her arm. "Get off" She yelled, not for the first time this evening. Kimmy had somehow gotten across the table, and was trying to stop her from participating. No, she wouldn't let her selfish sister have all the glory. Why should she just stand back and let the others go at it. Soonkyu stumbled backwards, trying to free herself from Kimmy's grasp, bumping into the students who sat beside her in the process. Finally prying herself away, she grabbed the closest thing she could reach, a chocolate and honey puff pastry, and threw it back at her sister. Now there were two people trying to attack her. Pushing past other students on the bench to try to claim the best nutritious ammunition, she no longer cared who she was distrupting. She was so fed up of her family, so fed up of people who thought they were better than her. No, they'd get what was coming to them.

Diane sat quietly in the great hall stabbing her pie with a fork. Her friend Raylee sat next to her, neither saying much as they ate. Suddenly she saw Raylee stand up out the corner of her eye and pick up a cheesecake. She heard the girl yell food fight and suddenly Diane had a cheesecake pressed into her face. "Ray"/class] Diane yelled wiping the cake from her eyes though she sucked it off the tip of her fingers. It was actually quite nice. Diane laughed and picked up one of the fruit pies on the table. "FOOD FIGHT!" She yelled and threw the pie at a younger blonde Slytherin girl.

Hera was still new at Hogwarts and didn't really know what happened here. She had missed some action and somehow it felt like today was going to be a good day. She had her plate filled with mash and stew. Her stomach was growling and she was really hungry. The plate in front of her seemed appetising. When she wanted to start on her plate a bowl of ice cream hit her lap. She hadn't really noticed all the action around her. She was so busy with the plate in front of her that she hadn't noticed the fight in front of her. ''What the'' Hera was pretty pissed, who the f* ruined her clothes. The ice was also incredibly cold, this meant it was on. She took a spoon of mash and flicked it into someone's face. She couldn't care who she had hit, she just hoped it was a score. The feeling of fun came over Hera, somehow this was excited. She had started now, so there was no use to stop. She took more mash and threw it to another person, hoping she had a direct hit on the person's hair.

Children annoyed him so Ezra hated eating in the Great hall, but he needed to do so, if he spent too much time in the kitchens the house elves might start to think he liked them. Suddenly, the other side of the Slytherin table erupted in chaos as children began throwing food at each other. Ezra rolled his eyes and picked up a bowl of jelly that sat in front of them. If he couldn't beat them, he would join them, He spotted James over on the Gryffindor table, smirked and threw the jelly at his face.

Daph had her Potions book propped up against a bowl, studying her favourite subject, when suddenly it was quite clear there was a commotion going on at the table next door. Before the Gryffindor could figure out what, she looked to her left and got a splatter of jelly in her eye. Most of it had been claimed by the older boy sitting beside her, but as she blinked, it plopped down the side of her cheek. How rude.

She closed her book in fear that it would be spoilt, tucking it into her bag quickly. She hadn't yet had much of a chance to make friends, so clearly the best way of handling this woul be to look after herself. Glancing up to the direction from which the jelly was thrown, she spotted another older Slytherin boy, laughing to himself. On the centre of her table was a beautiful decoration of chocolate puffs, and quickly the first year created herself a small catapolt, before placing herself carefully behind her bench. She would attack back, carefully. One by one she began to launch the puffs towards the Slytherin table and the older boy, giggling to herself. This was the most fun she'd had since she'd joined.

Gabriella was glad to have Heather most of the time at her side. The blonde seemed confident most of the time but she was far from that. As she found her seat at the long table from Slytherin she didn't saw Heather around yet. The blonde didn't mind and wanted to get some food. It was a long day in the library and Gabriella had did her very best so now food time. As the blonde took some food on her plate she wanted to eat and when she saw food flying around her she was frowning. What the hell was happening? as she thought nothing was gonna get to her she was wrong. She felt something on her and looked into the direction where it was coming from.
'' Seriously?'' she said as she noticed a older girl was the one that did it. She didn't liked being dirty but she wasn't totally cranky about it. Gabriella saw Gabriel his annoying face and felt the need to mess his arrogant face up with some pie. The blonde took a spoon and threw with it a big piece of cake to Gabriel his direction. He was sitting close to their table so it wasn't that hard to hit. Perhaps her father wouldn't like this action but Gabriella felt like Gabriel would deserve this.

Rose was late to the party, which wasn't entirely uncommon for her. She had been so caught up in telling a story to one of her friends that she didn't notice the food fight happening in the Great hall until she was hit by some jelly. She jumped up, grinning. This was the sort of thing she had imagined at a school like Hogwarts. She stood on her seat to make herself bigger and grabbed a bowl of (disgusting) brussels sprouts to use as ammunition. She grabbed a handful out of the bowl and whooped as she threw them in the direction of the Slytherin table. Maybe she would be lucky and hit Odette, but she wasn't really aiming for her. Hitting anyone at all would be a lot of fun. "SPROUT RAIN!" She yelled in her enthusiasm.

The Swedish blonde was looking forward to dinner he liked all of the food here and there was no father here around that could say that he had enough. As he went sitting on the other side of the table before Sofia he smiled at his sister. He was rather enjoying Gryffindor and had becoming good friends with Marcos who he really liked. He was his mate and it seemed they shared a lot of interests. As the lion started to begin with his food he got a smile on his face. Where would he begin? There was so much and there weren't rules of where you had to begin. The blonde decided to go for some chicken and took a big bite from it, sawing his sisters eyes rolling as he was attacking the chicken. ''Wwhat?'' he said with a full mouth. When he was almost finished with his chicken he heard some screaming around the Slytherin table and as he wanted to look in the direction he felt something disguisting at his hair and it was walking over his face.

The blonde directly stood up and looked into the direction of the table from the snake's. '' What the hell!?'' he said angry because the boy was quickly angry. And this was something that made him mad, someone threwing stuff at him? How funny and when he saw a big smile at Gabriella her face he had a feeling it was her idea.
'' Stupid snakes!'' The blonde was quite angry and threw something back at the Slytherin table. But it wasn't enough for him so he threw something at the Ravenclaw table and noticed Sophie sitting. He was too furious so decided she could use some cake too so walked over to her and stopped right before her and rubbed the cake into her face, hoping she would like it. The last part made him laugh again, this was feeling pretty good. So it made him more calm, and decided to not be angry anymore. But still Gabriella was a sly snake, being pretty and the perfect daughter well she wasn't.

Sophie was trying to study for Transfiguration, which so far was her favorite class. She wanted to do well in it, though she didn't care a lot about many of the other classes yet. She had her book in her lap and was trying to read to herself with her fingers in her ears to focus troghout the ruckus around her. Then someone stopped in front of her and before she could register more than that it was stupid Gabriel, he had pushed cake in her face. Sophie gasped and spluttered, her book dropping to the floor. She hadn't even noticed the food fight around her and she was absolutely taken aback by this. In both shock and anger she got to her feet, wiping some of the the cake off her face. She grit her teeth and without saying anything, turned around to grab big plate of spaghetti from the table. She stepped onto the bench to be higher than him and turned the plate over onto his head. "Get away from me, you slime ball!" She snapped, hoping this would get that stupid grin off his face. She was furious about the cake, and if he didn't leave soon she would start kicking him or something.

Aion strolled round the corner in through the doors of the great hall, hoping to catch some dinner before he went off to rest for the evening. However upon entering, he saw quite a sight, with students of all shapes and sizes throwing large amounts of food at each other. He continued walking between the tables, picking up a bottle of lemonade on his way past the other Ravenclaws, occasionally ducking a flying mound of jelly.

Smirking, he looked across to the Gryffindor table, looking for Maddie. He was a reasonably relaxed student, but he didn't mind joining in with the fun every now and then to let his hair down. He leapt up upon the Gryffindor table, moving any stray bowls and plates with his foot, before madly shaking the bottle hard. He grinned towards his favourite Walden, before slightly releasing the cap and showering a group of Gryffindors with the sticky irritating mist. He laughed, glad to have a reason not to take things so seriously.

Amber had been enjoying a peaceful dinner with some of her classmates when suddenly chaos erupted all around her. She had been about to compliment Geo on her spellwork when it seemed like the world had exploded. It seemed to come out of nowhere at all and Amber instantly wanted to be anywhere but here. She looked around, her eyes wide as food flew over their heads. This wasn't supposed to be happening! Where were the prefects? the professors? Amber ducked to avoid come cake and looked around in alarm.

When a glob of jelly landed right next to her arm, she knew she had to do something. Geo was already trying to bat away food but there was no way they would all get out of this without getting dirty. Looking at some nearby first years she gestured down. "Get under the table!" She said, taking Geo's advice, though it was already her own first instinct as well "It's okay, lets hide here until a professor stops them!" She gently tugged a first year girl down with her as she crouched underneath the table, hoping against hope that no food had reached her outfit yet. She wondered if Sophie was okay, but from here she couldn't see her sister.

"Lumos" Geo had been practicing her Charms all afternoon. "Nox" The light went out once more. She was very much enjoying her Charms lessons and wanted to do well, especially if Professor Hadan was grading. "Lumos" She said again, and when the light shone brightly she turned her head towards Amber, proud that she was able to do it again and again. "Cake" She said, her wand still alight next to her head. "Cake!" She shouted, pointing past Amber towards the Slytherin table. "Nox" she said quickly, stuffing her wand back into her pocket.

And eruptive food fight was progressing in the hall, but Geo had been so pre-ocupied she'd barely noticed until now. As cake flew past the students, she ducked it quickly, before scrabbling onto the table to grab an empty silver plate. Standing tall on the bench, she began to bat away the flying debris of food items that came towards the Hufflepuff table. This was not the place for a fight, and what a waste of food. "Guys you need to hide" She yelled in Ambers direction, batting away what looked like a a piece of cheesecake that clung to the back of the plate for a moment, before splattering onto the table top.

Isaac sat at the ravenclaw table, bored as usual. He hadn't made friends in his own house yet which was starting to bother him more than some people at the school and that said something. He sighed, pondering whether he should just head back to the dorm to hybernate for the rest of the morning. He certainly wouldn't mind. As he sat there however, watching other people for the pure reason of boredom, something did catch his eye and what caught his attention all of a sudden was his sister Soonkyu whose presence as she walked up to the Slytherin table said it all: she was not in her best moods. Although when was she ever? Isaac sighed, rolled his eyes and got up, deciding to see what the fuss was about. Soonkyu was never one for subtlety, so when he approached his two sisters it was no surprise to Isaac that Soon was accusing Kimmy of something. He frowned. "Something wrong guys?" He spoke up, making his presence known. The boy ignored the many pairs of eyes on them - although it didn't concern them in the slightest, this had to do with family as far as he could figure out. "Woah is it true?" Isaac was mostly surprised, he thought his sisters were the two people he could actually hang out with sometimes. Apparently this was not the case.

"
SOONKYU, KIMMY, STOP!" He shouted, his bubble finally bursting. He was angry. Really angry. "Enough!" He snapped at a Slytherin girl he didn't know who looked older but not by that much. "What is wrong with you people? Seriously grow up," he hissed this time also looking at the others who had joined in the so-called 'food fight'. Except, this type of food fight was meant to have caused harm in the first place and it unsettled Isaac that Soon and Kimmy were fighting. Before any more damage could be done, the first year jumped in between the two girls to separate them. "You guys will need to sort it out and a lot sooner than later."

It wasn't long before their stupid interfering brother join in as well, trying to pull the sisters apart and stepping between them. "Leave me alone Isaac" She shouted, couldn't he tell she just wanted him to leave her be? So long had she spent with him on her tail, telling her what to do. "Just go" she said, shoving both her hands into ther brothers shoulders, pushing with her whole body weight. Too bad Kimmy had spilt the water, and instead of regaining her balance, she lost her footing and slipped straight into the Ravenclaw, causing them both to crash down onto the stone floor. "Get off me" She repeated, trying to scrabble away from Isaac, not really caring anymore who was hurt. Why was everyone always in her damn way?

Therese couldn't believe her eyes as she saw a food fight appearing. She wasn't a game breaker or something and thought of this as very funny but she could imagine that some people wouldn't like this. And there were as she saw Geo and a older Hufflepuff girl yelling that they should hide under the tables. Therese got hit with a piece of cake and she tried the taste of it. '' Something positive the food tastes delicious.'' the Swedish girl said with a big smile as she was tasting the cake on her shoulder. But the brunette thought of it as a good idea to go hiding under the table. '' I'm wondering who this started?'' Therese wondered what the person was thinking. She didn't saw it as very bad but there has the be something at it right?
