Simon sat by himself at one of the tables that surrounded the dance floor, feeling absolutely awful. The decorations for the ball were quite nice he would admit, but he still wished he was back in Scotland with his friends rather then this godforsaken place. He looked around the room and narrowed his eyes as he spotted Aisa and the idiot from the train talk about something stupid as he struck some dramatic pose. He was pretty sure his name was Sully but he didn't really feel like dignifying him with an actual name, besides he looked ridiculous. Simon crossed his arms and sighed, it wasn't the boy he was mad at after all, but he still hated to see her tolerate being around someone when she hated everything about him. He had tried to be nice to her and she just rejected him at every turn. He sighed and looked away finally, trying to find some kind of distraction from what was turning into a truly awful night.
