Closed Introductions

[Achim Kramer]

The graduation ceremony had just ended and Achim was waiting for Alexis to introduce her fiancé to him and Armin. The boy was still with his family while his siblings were a few feet away, talking to a Gryffindor who seemed to have shared Armin's passion for dragons. He looked around and could not help the smile that crept on his face as he remembered his own graduation. He looked back to his siblings and noticed Armin approaching him with his usual grin. "Happy that you get to share your love for dragons bro?", he remarked with a grin of his own. His bluish grey eyes were on the pair that was approaching them.

Armin chuckled as he was having fun conversing with Alexis' classmate. Clearly, the girl loved dragons. He took a glance around and caught Achim's serious stance. Thankfully, Fleur just bid goodbye, allowing them to rejoin their brother as well. "Go get your lover boy, sis. Don't keep big bro waiting." , he whispered to Alexis before approaching Achim first. At his remark, he shrugged with a cheeky grin before straightening Achim's suit. "Relax, brother. You're not going to scare the boy, are you?", tapping him on the shoulder before facing the same direction as the man did. Alexis and Xavier were approaching them and Armin had to be the calm brother here. Here goes nothing.

Alexis shushed Armin before slowly approaching @Xavier Mackintosh from behind. He was with his older sister. She waited patiently until she caught sight of Achim again. Tugging on her fiancé's hand, she smiled shyly. "They're waiting. I'm nervous, love.", she whispered shakily. Achim was the most serious among her brothers, him being the oldest and her being the youngest. Armin, on the other hand, was the coolest as he was the middle of the five.​

Xavier hugged his sister tightly, really glad that she could make it. It felt really strange to be leaving this place, and Sam, behind. He turned when he felt Alexis tug on his hand and he gave her hand a squeeze and a warm smile. "Don’t worry, it will be fine," he murmured, stealing a glance at her brothers. He was lying if he said he wasn’t nervous too, meeting his fiancée’s family seemed like a big step even though it probably shouldn’t be. He told Alex he would meet up with her and Sam later and he gently guided Alexis in the direction of her brothers, hoping he’d make a good impression. He had never thought he’d have to meet them so soon. ​

Alexis smiled as she squeezed back Xavier's hand. They slowly made their way to her brothers and with each step closer, her heart pounded faster. Thankfully Armin was there. He was more sensible and calmer than Achim. "Achim, Armin. This is Xavier, my fiancé. Xav, these are my brothers, Achim and Armin.", she introduced, gesturing to each man as she said their names. She kept a smile on her face while gauging Achim's reaction to this.​

Armin smiled at the incoming pair, almost wanting to tease Alexis that she was nervous as heck right now. From the corner of his eye, he observed Achim not saying anything and just staring at the boy. Saving their sister, he grinned putting out a hand. "Nice to meet you, Xavier. Congratulations by the way.", giving their brother a small nudge as he did so.​

Achim must admit that the boy looked kind and decent as they approached them. He listened as Alexis introduced him to them and vice versa. So many thoughts ran inside his head as he looked at the pair. One of them was his little sister finally graduated and had grown so much already. She was even engaged on top of that. Who was he to stop her? He knew how confident she was and goal-driven. He even thought that this boy would stop her from reaching them, however, from the way they acted together, it was clear that this Xavier supported Alexis all the way. Achim was pulled out from his musings when he felt a nudge. "About time we meet you, Xavier. Congratulations!", he added, his hand put out for the boy to shake.

Xavier smiled politely as Alexis introduced her brothers, and though he felt slightly nervous about meeting the older one, they both seemed like genuinely kind and caring people and Xavier knew he had done the right thing in asking Alexis to marry him. He shook Armin’s and first, and then Achim’s, chuckling lightly at the latter’s comment. "It’s very nice to meet you both, and thank you," he said, putting an arm around his fiancée. "I will take good care of your little sister," he said, looking lovingly at her as he did so. ​

Alexis did not realize she was holding her breath until Achim brought out jhs hand. He seemed okay with it and she was grateful. She smiled in return at what Xavier said, wrapping her arm around his torso. "Xavier loves music like I do and plays the guitar too.", she offered the information. Among her brothers, Achim loved music and this had become their past time when they were growing up.​
