The lakefront was by far Flavio's usual place to spend time when he was in the school grounds. Feeding the ducks that lived there was his calling and sometimes the only way he could be alone with his thoughts in a castle that was so vast yet always bustling with excitement. Even the library was sometimes too much for him to handle when he felt like keeping to himself which made the lakefront all the more appealing to him. Though that day Flavio had instead chosen to simply walk around the grounds for the sake of getting fresh air after spending the entirety of his day indoors, working on assignments and homework his classes had already given him, rather than feeding the ducks. The growing problem with the lakefront was that others recognized it as the place to seek him out and despite wanting to do anything for his friends, Flavio did want solitude away from the pressure of pleasing others once in a while. Now that meant he needed to be nowhere yet everywhere at the same time and at a loss of how else to find this solitude he had begun to walk aimlessly.
His stroll eventually lead him to the school gardens, a place that was always bright and beautiful although was on a whole other level of beautiful in the early weeks of spring when flowers began to bloom after bearing the cold winter. Flavio was glad to have ended up somewhere he could distract himself with the beauty of his surroundings. He walked along the small pathways, observing flowers as he went and occasionally picking one from bunches that were growing, figuring that since the flowers were plentiful that time of year he could get away with taking some to make a flower crown. It had been a while since he had made one for the wild patch and the task of weaving flowers together seemed the perfect amount of peaceful Flavio was searching for. He hummed quietly to himself as he continued walking, picking up the occasional flower and adding it to the growing bunch in his arms as he went.
