Hufflepuff Quidditch Practice Y45|S2

[Felix Carnahan]

Felix was even more nervous this semester than he was last semester, if that was even possible. With the quidditch cup just one game away it was so real, but there was only thing standing in their way, Slytherin. Even without Celia or Ivelisse they were pretty scary. He also knew that a lot was riding on him as seeker. But he had some confidence to his step after their first win and his successful animagus training over the holidays. Things were going well for him so far but he was scared to jinx it too. He blew his whistle to gather the team before they got started. "Welcome back guys!" he called out. "We've had to move some people around this semester but I'm still expecting the best out of everyone. We won last semester and now we're only one game away winning the quiddich cup and getting to play against the international team. And since it's my last year I woud mind getting to play as much as I can." he added with a laugh. "Everyone should know what they need to work on and those in new positions feel free to as questions but I believe in you. So let's get to work and win that cup!" he shouted before blowing the whistle again and gesturing for everyone to get in the air.

[Renata Stepanova]

Renata's head hurt a bit trying to get everything organized for Quidditch this semester, but she had faith in the team and looked forward to taking on Slytherin. She gave everyone a grin as she mounted up, taking the quaffle up to the air to possibly toss it to one of the others or get a quick warmup shot in.

Leo followed behind Renata as she caught the ball.

 

[Chase Campbell]

Chase hopped onto his broom and looked for a bludger.

Leo continued to follow behind Renata.

 

[Renata Stepanova]

Renata got distracted playing co-op games was a little slow heading to the hoops, wanting to give the keeper ample time, but then went for a shot. She was pleased to see it sail through, glad she wasn't rusty yet.

After Renata scored, Leo grabbed the quaffle and began circling back to the hoops.

 

[Chase Campbell]

Chase spotted a bludger and started his pursuit.

As soon as Leo had circled back, he threw the ball and was pleased to watch it sail in.

Chase hit the bludger and send it flying towards the captain @Felix Carnahan.

Felix took to the air and it didn’t take long for a bludger to find him. He let out a groan but shrugged it off and got back to his search.

Chase looked for another bludger.

 

[Felix Carnahan]

Felix kept looking for the snitch.

When it seemed no one was going for the quaffle, Leo flew forward and grabbed it.

Leo managed to score again in no time at all.

Felix continued to fly around the pitch searching for the snitch.

 

[Penelope Marshall]

Penelope looked around for the snitch but saw no sign of it yet.

Chase swung at a bludger but missed.

Leo managed to get the ball and score again, because he was so good and not because someone controlling him hit the wrong button.

Chase hit a bludger and send it towards @Penelope Marshall.

Felix kept looking.

Felix was still feeling good and he felt much better as he caught sight of the snitch and raced after it. After a few good twists and turns he grabbed it from the air.

Felix let go of the snitch and took a moment to let it fly away before going after it again.

 

[Veronique Chatelain]

Veronique had initially felt like she had been demoted, like she hadn't been good enough to be chaser so they had pushed her back to keeper. But as her mother explained it, she must have been so good at being keeper that it was easier to put her there than go through the whole process of training somebody new on the position. As she repositioned herself in front of the hoops, she forgot how boring it could be but tried to really pay attention to the game.

Renata took up the quaffle now she wasn't having to focus on another game while out of town and headed around to the hoops.
