Hufflepuff Quidditch Practice Y44 S1

Rene zoomed after Penelope after spotting her zooming.
 
Felix kept searching.
 
Penelope zoomed faster to get away from René.
 
Penelope put on another burst of speed and Rene laughed as he failed to keep up with her. "Fly like that during the match they'll never catch you," he called after her, shaking his head before catching sight of a passing bludger, swinging it hard into the closest player who happened to be @Leonardo Orr.

Felix continued his search.
 
Rene took a moment to stretch out his arms, easing the burn in his bat arm especially as he glanced around to check where the other players (and bludgers) were.
 
Felix kept flying.
 
After hitting a few chasers, Rene decided it might be only fair to even the odds out a bit, sending the next bludger towards @Zagreus Kohler instead.

No snitch appeared.
 
Rene figured it wouldn't help them to push too hard right before a big match so he took a moment to blow his whistle, motion the team to the ground to take a break and grab some water. "Catch your breath, everyone's doing great. We wanna try to keep that energy and aggression for the whole match coming up," he assured the team, wiping the sleeve of his robe on his forehead before getting back into the air.

Felix kept looking.
 
Seeing Felix already back on the move, Rene geared up ready to hit him early though the bludger had other ideas. He fumbled the hit, cursing when his bat wasn't ready and he managed ram the bludger into his own thigh instead, spinning off awkwardly for a moment. Not the most auspicious start.

Penny thought she saw the snitch, but it turned out to be nothing.
 
For a moment it looked like Penelope might be after the snitch again and Rene readied himself to interfere.
 
Felix kept searching.
 
As a bludger slammed into Niall again, he winced in pain. He looked up to see who it had come from, and as he approached a bludger of his own, intended to send it straight back towards Rene. However it seemed to veer off entirely, probably because Niall was now covered in bruises, and instead he managed to hit @Leonardo Orr

Veronique somehow ended up with the quaffle and started flying around.
 
Renata was glad for the break and gladder still Veronique had the quaffle as she may or may not have lost track of where it was.
 
Chase looked for another bludger.
 
Veronique found an in to try to and score, throwing the quaffle a little too lack luster as it was caught by the keeper.
 
Renata took up the quaffle when it was thrown back out, hoping to get another goal.
 
Veronique followed behind Renata as she took posession of the quaffle.
 
Felix kept searching.
 
Renata decided she'd do a better job of supporting and instead passed the quaffle over to @Veronique Chatelain
 
Veronique was surprised to see Renata toss the quaffle in her direction and went to catch it before she saw it fall beneath her. Diving down, she was able to get ahold of it again. "What a klutz," she joked before heading back towards the hoops.
