Landon was in good spirits heading into the second semester of the school year. He wanted to plan another Hufflepuff get-together as he rather enjoyed the ones he had done in the past. He liaised with the house elves to get some picnic baskets arranged with sandwiches, sweets and snacks, and some pumpkin juice for everyone. Thankfully, he had grown enough pumpkins last semester with his first years so that there were left overs to make the pumpkin juice.
Multiple picnic rugs were laid out on the great lawn, with a picnic basket on top of each one. Landon also had a large basket of muggle board games, in case anyone was interested in them. There was also a game of wizard's chess and gobstones in case they wanted to stick with what they knew. He also arranged for a basket of flowers for flower crown making as he always loved to see his students and their creations.
When he was sure almost everyone had arrived, Landon greeted his students. "Welcome to another Hufflepuff Picnic!” he exclaimed, smiling around at them all. "Please feel free to do whatever your heart desires. There are board games and flowers for making flower crowns, and lots of snacks for everyone in the picnic baskets. I look forward to catching up with you all."
