Open Heta Omega vs Brotherhood: Musical Chairs!

As soon as the scramble began Bailey made for the nearest chair and took a firm seat.

The game was getting intense now and Teddy rushed for an available seat in scramble phase then sat down.

Audrey flopped into a chair and Camilla lamented the shift in time to when the phase changes.

Aroha quickly nabbed a seat and Sarah lamented the phase shift too

Eury couldn't help but blink confused at William's words, though she chalked it up to the fact that there were only eight players left, so she supposed it was going to be over soon. In her mind, it wasn't soon enough. With the music suddenly stopping, she'd been about to make a lunge for a chair when she was grabbed and pulled straight into someone's lap as she gave a squeal. After the pushing and dashing for a chair, being pulled into sitting was definitely new. "William!" she laughed as he held her against him, redness creeping into her face with how close she was. And well, that she was on his lap. She did make a token effort to try and squirm free but the chairs were all completely filled before she could get off. "I can't believe you just did that," she laughed as she slapped the side of his leg. She was out of the game, but hey, she didn't mind. She would get to sit with Elio-nii like she wanted.

Ben stared at the two students seated on one chair. "I did say the rule was one student per chair. Don't do that again, Mr. Potter-Cade." He said, shaking his head. He supposed what he'd done wasn't cheating, but he didn't want the boy to make a habit of such a thing either. "Eurydice you've been eliminated." He said, gesturing for her to take a seat on the grass.

For someone who’d been so adamant not to lose her chair to the Slytherin, Eury most definitely didn’t seem to care when Will eliminated her. Maybe the girls really didn’t want to win. Felix resisted rolling his eyes at his friend, who apparently only had eyes for the Hufflepuff and continued to walk round the circle of chairs.

"Aaaaawkward," Audrey said in a sing-song voice, finding the display a little bit embarrassing. It reminded her of that magazine cover with her parents they kept on display. That more so in that it was twenty years old. Cringeworthy. "Boo, Professor, are you saying we're actively allowed to grab people and stop them from taking seats? Huh, well the more you know." It probably wasn't a big loss that Eurydice was out. Audrey had no issue with the girl personally but she didn't even seem to like the other girls Though she got on with Bailey it seemed, so maybe that was why she'd signed up. The point was now Audrey, Bailey and Aroha had to stay on their game to win this thing for Heta. And to stop Teddy from being too full of himself over another win.

"No Miss Beauchamp, I wouldn't recommend it. Any future actions like that will be causing eliminations of the person responsible."

Teddy didn't mind whatever had happened between the two second years because a Heta player had been eliminated. He stood up and started walking around, snorting a laugh at Audrey. "Yeah Audrey, don't go getting ideas now!" He grinned, slowing at the next chair when he thought the music was going to stop.

Jonah blinked as William trapped Eurydice and well, he didn't know they could do that. Or well, apparently the proctor didn't think they would do that either so it's become a one-time thing. As he walked around the chairs, he wondered what else could be done in the name of winning Musical Chairs.

He might have got a stern telling off from Professor Kaster but William was pretty happy with how things had turned out. "You seemed like you wanted to stop," He teased her before planting a kiss on her lips. "Whatever happens it looks like I won,"

Eurydice couldn’t help but roll her eyes and laugh at his antics. She did blush a little though at the kiss, he’d been doing that more lately. “Have fun then. Guess I’ll wait over there,” she said grinning before skipping off to Elio-nii before the music started since Benjamin could get a little… testy.

Audrey rolled her eyes. "Oh, the male teacher gives one of the boys a pass," she groaned, only half seriously, before jabbing a thumbs in the direction of the second years making out. "Can you disqualify him for that, though? I thought this was a classy game of musical chairs."

Unfortunately for the second years, Miss Beauchamp had a point. "Mr Potter-Cade, I know you know you shouldn't have done that. I'm disqualifying you too." He said, before ending the music so the students could scramble. Eury should have gotten off the field the moment he'd told her to.

Jonah yelled "Miiiiiiine!" as he dove for a chair, straddling it and embracing the back of it as he sat, nearly outbalancing and falling over. Thank Merlin he didn't because he would have hit his face on a chair.

Aroha quickly got to a seat as soon as the music finished.

Teddy wasn't happy William was disqualified but he wanted a seat more. He jumped to the closest free seat and sat down.

"Justice," said Audrey sliding into a chair coolly.

Felix sat down.

Bailey grabbed the nearest chair as soon as the scramble began and sat down.

See? Testy. One quick kiss before the music started and he punished William. Maybe his wife - does he have a wife, maybe he doesn’t - doesn’t give him kisses. Poor Benjamin. She supposed being ancient and alone does make one grumpy and testy. Not that it stopped her from grabbing a chair from the discarded chairs without his permission and dragged it all the way to where Elio-nii was. “Sorry,” she told William, once he got close enough.

William couldn't believe he was being kicked out of the game because he kissed Eury, Professor Kaster was proving to be a real buzz kill and whatever game Bailey and Teddy planned for their next joint event, he hoped they picked a more fun teacher to host. Uncle James would never punish people for a little revelry, he'd probably have encouraged it. "Worth it," William smiled at Eury as he walked over to her after being unceremoniously ejected. As Eury took a seat in the chair she dragged over, William moved to stand just behind her.

"Sorry Bailey, too slow on that one, off you go," Ben said, shaking his head at the antics of these kids. He wasn't sure he wanted to think about his own girls at this school, thankfully he had some time before he had to deal with it. Was Finely like this? He hoped not, but probably, in a fashion.

Elio couldn't believe what was happening in this game, and he was surprised by some of the antics, honestly he was almost glad he wasn't playing, and he watched Eury as she was sat on a wrong chair not once, but twice, though the second time was the fault of her friend William, and he wasn't sure how he felt about that. As she sat next to him, he draped an arm across her chair, glaring at the Potter-Cade boy in case he decided to come and sit beside Eury. "Hey kid," he said to Eury, poking her in the shoulder lightly. "You did good." That Morrie Ayre was a problem.
