Victoire had never been that good with Halloween, she and her friends had barely celebrated it. It was just something that they hadn't done. Not in the same way that these people at Hogwarts did. For Victoire dressing up and all that was only something that she did when it was February, and she knew that they didn't celebrate that kind of thing at Hogwarts so she was left with trying to get a costume together. Though this year she had managed to do something a little better than last year which had been nothing more than a simple muggle outfit, this time around she had gone for something else at the suggestion of her mother. She was staring at herself in the mirror, she had gotten a bit of help from an older student to animate her ears. They were muggle made but moved with her ears. She was a space werewolf thing. It was a strange costume she had to admit but with little experience as to what was accepted in terms of Hogwarts costumes. Happily the girl got the last of her costume together. She was looking forward to spending a bit of time just having fun. She knew that she could see some of her friends at it.
Finally once she was all ready to go the girl gathered up her things and then left for the Great Hall. She was really looking forward to having a bit of fun. She was very excited to have a bit of fun. She smiled to herself, brushing the stray strands of blonde hair around the ears. They were a little awkward after all. But it was funny to her. She smiled to herself when she finally reached the room and was in complete awe of it. She couldn't believe that this was the same room she had dinner in every night. It just did not look the same. It was funny to her. So funny. She moved around the room feeling a little self conscious about her costume. It was good fun, she was just a little surprised at the sheer level of everyone else's costumes compared with hers. She wasn't sure what any of that meant. She knew for next year she'd have to do better. Halloween was just hard. However Victoire was not about to let this ruin her evening. She was happily making her way around the room in the hope that she would be able to find a couple of friends. Some people to talk to.
