Rāwhiti's spirits were through the roof after last year, but try as he might he couldn't calm his bubbling nerves. He should be much more confident this season after coming in second, but this was his last year. It was his last chance to lead Gryffindor to the win, and the pressure was on. His jovial smile was a little strained as he greeted the team, doing his best to portray the kind of confidence the Gryffindor captain should have. "Alright team, huddle in!" He called out, gesturing his team closer. "Right, last year we barely missed out on the cup and that won't be happening again this year. We're bringing our A game to every match, every time. I don't want to see a second of mercy or hesitation from anyone, in a game or practice." He said firmly, glancing around the surrounding faces. "Chasers, focus on interaction - passing and stealing. I don't want to see anyone just flying around by themself. You're a unit." He said, looking them all over seriously. "Teddy, it's you versus five this time around so stay sharp. Beaters, I don't want a single punch pulled. Milo and I should be walking out of here black and blue." He glanced at the alternate, quietly hoping one of them would be more bruised than the other by the end of this. "Milo, you know the deal. Alright, everybody go!" He blew his whistle sharply and kicked off into the air, beginning the practice.

Gryffindor,Practice

Josh was in his final year of quidditch, time went by so quickly, Josh was shocked by it all. The Gryffindor listened carefully to what Rāwhiti was saying, nodding his head, understanding. It wasn’t long before they were up in the air, and Josh caught the quaffle before heading towards the hoops.

Rāwhiti kicked into the air with the rest of his team, trying to ignore the sinking knowledge that this would be the last season he got to start with them. It was all or nothing, and he had to try and tear his mind away from that thought as he searched for the snitch.

Teddy didn't have an alt this year which was fine as Veronica had chosen to be an alt for another position instead. Teddy nodded, "No worries Raawhiti, I have the broom for it." taking to the air on his new top of the range Turbo XXX broom. He reached the hoops in record time thinking this was going to be a lot of fun.

Santiago was eager to get to practice and put his bat to good use. He smirked a little at the thought of getting any excuse to send his bludgers Milo's way. He took to the air quickly and started looking for bludgers.

Even though being an alternate again after all these years stung a bit, Alicia was grateful to be on the team. She listened to Raawhiti, glad he seemed to be taking the sport seriously, even telling the beaters he should walk out of there black and blue. That was intense, but she liked it. She wondered if he was dating anyone. Alicia took to the air, following the chaser who grabbed the quaffle in case he wanted to pass.

Fraser flew in behind Josh who had managed to grab the quaffle first.

Miro couldn't wait to begin his first practice with the Gryffindor team, not just as an alternate but as a starting beater. He wanted to do all he could to show he was worthy of the position and wasted no time flying into the air as the practice began. Miro began to search for a bludger but couldn't find one to hit.

When Josh was close enough to the hoops, he threw the quaffle towards the left hoop, cheering as it had sailed through the hoop.

Teddy guarded the hoops and kept a close eye on Josh as he approached, then became annoyed when he managed to score. He threw the quaffle back out without saying anything.

Santiago kept looking for bludgers.

Alicia grabbed the quaffle as Teddy threw it out, tucking it under her arm and flying off with it.

Joshua quickly followed the new chaser as she had possession of the quaffle.

Rāwhiti scanned the pitch as he circled, finally feeling at home again in the air.

Santiago grinned when he saw a bludger and swung. But he must have been a little over excited because his aim was way off as it flew past Milo and right towards Teddy. @Teddy Pirrip

Ivy entered the picture for training. This was what she had wanted. To train and play with the Gryffindor team. She listened as the captain described how training would go before it was time to set off. She kicked from the ground and followed Santiago to the goals ready to catch the quaffle if it was passed. She cheered when he scored before starting the flight back this time flanking one of the other chasers , the transfer who she thought would get her spot in the team. Alice? Was it or Allysa. She needed to get to know their names.

Miro tried to search for a bludger to hit, but couldn't find anything.

Rāwhiti was pleased to see his team off to such a good start, able to focus his attention on the snitch and let them get warmed up.

Milo was glad Raawhiti had once again seen reason enough to keep him on the team, now he just hoped he could prove himself in an actual game this year. There were several knew faces on the team which was going to take some getting used to but Milo figured he'd focus on the important part of practice first, namely catching the snitch before Raawhiti.

He saluted the captain as he gave them instructions before kicking into the air, ducking down hurriedly as Santiago sent a bludger his way that thankfully missed.

"Oof!" Teddy groaned when the bludger hit him, he has almost forgotten how painful they were. He wobbled on his broom for a moment then continued guarding the hoops.

Rāwhiti kept one eye on Teddy after the bludger hit, glad to see him rally quickly, then turned his attention back to the snitch.

Milo tried to stifle a laugh as Teddy wobbled on his broom, not actually wanting to watch his roommate fall (though it would be pretty funny). He shook his head, pressing himself closer to his broom, hoping to move faster and make a small target as he shot across the pitch.

Fraser followed Alicia as she caught the quaffle after Josh's successful attempt at scoring.

Teddy continued to defend the hoops however his mood was affected by Josh scoring and a bludger hit in quick succession.

Alicia flew up to the hoops and tried to score, groaning when it was blocked. That was not the first impression she had hoped to make.
