[Isaiah Thompson]

Isaiah took a second to observe the team.

 

[Elara Chatelain]

Elara was busy practicing her dive when something caught her eye. Looking up, she saw a snitch not too far away. Not even taking the time to look for other players, Elara zoomed past all the other players, racing against the wind to catch snitch. It took her a moment, and she was worried that Raawhiti might be on her tail, but she eventually wrapped her hands around the snitch, holding it up as she swirled on her broom. She knew that getting cocky wouldn't help them win, and even though the Hufflepuff seeker was young, Elara had only played in a few games. Hopefully, they'd be on a relatively even playing field.

Isaiah was hitting far less bludgers than he would like.

 

[Elara Chatelain]

Elara readjusted herself on the broom as she watched the snitch fly away before flying up to her boyfriend. "I think we really have a chance!" she squealed. @Isaiah Thompson

 

[Raawhiti Te Rangi]

Rāwhiti spotted Elara speeding up out of the corner of his eye, but he was too slow and too far to catch up. He tried not to let his disappointment show as he gave her a grin. "Ka pai!*"

*Ka pai - Well done, common knowledge.

 

[Raawhiti Te Rangi]

Rāwhiti kept going, trying to figure out which direction the snitch had gone when Elara released it.

 

[Zephryn Spencer]

Zee was keeping a close eye on the quaffle. The other 'team' of chasers didn't seem to be taking the initiative. Zee wouldn't let that stop here though. She grabbed the quaffle as it was thrown into play.

 

[Raawhiti Te Rangi]

Rāwhiti spotted a flash of light and raced towards it, slowing in defeat as he realised it was just light reflecting off the stands.

 

[Zephryn Spencer]

Zee flew to the other hoop, aiming the best she could. She tossed the quaffle in hard, watching it soar through the hoop. "Yes" she said to herself. Another score. Hopefully the game would go this well also.

 

[Isaiah Thompson]

"We might." Zay grinned when El flew up to him. Even if he wasn't entirely content with his own performance during practice so far, the seekers were doing great.

 

[Elara Chatelain]

Elara continued smiling as she flew away from Zay, hoping to catch the snitch once more before practice ended.

Isaiah hit a bludger towards @Zephryn Spencer while El flew away.

El watched the skies for any sign of the snitch.

Zay meant to hit a bludger towards Joshua just to even the score for the chasers but it sailed towards @Genevieve Fuentes instead.

Elara saw a cloud morph into a shape similar to a snitch and realized she'd been focusing too hard during this practice.

 

[Raawhiti Te Rangi]

Rāwhiti hummed to himself as he searched, hoping to keep his spirits up.

 

[Zephryn Spencer]

Zee winced as she was hit by a bludger. That was never pleasant. But she was not going to let it stop her. When no one else grabbed the quaffle, Zee did so as it was thrown back into play. She tucked the quaffle under her arm and sped towards the opposite goal.

Isaiah hit a bludger towards @Joshua Lynch.

[Zephryn Spencer]

Zee threw the quaffle at the upper goal hoop. She watched as it went through. She was definitely doing well in practice. Hopefully that continued.

 

[Elara Chatelain]

El looked over at Raawhiti, wondering if he had seen anything so she could jump on his tail. However, he wasn't moving, so Elara started flying around randomly.

Zay glanced over at the chasers to see how they were doing.

 

[Elara Chatelain]

El continued flying around, hoping the snitch would pop up again soon.

 

[Raawhiti Te Rangi]

Rāwhiti kept up the search, flying high laps above the pitch as he looked for anything snitchlike.

 

[Isaiah Thompson]

Isaiah swung at a bludger and it sailing towards @Elara Chatelain, knowing it wouldn't be fair if he hit bludgers towards his entire team but spared his girlfriend.

El thought she saw something, but in reality, it was just the bludger coming towards her from afar. She tried to duck, but it hit the top of her broom, spinning her a little as before coming to a hault. Shaking it off, she kept her eye out for any other flying objects.
