Gryffindor Practice Y49 S1

Aroha just rolled her eyes at the wink, pushing forward to try and get the advantage, but fumbled her attempt at grabbing the snitch.

Ivy was glad to see miles take the ball. She started following him in case he needed to pass it off.

William didn't hit anything.

Ivy continued to stay close to miles come on miles. You’ve got this she called hoping he would get a goal in.

Aroha, frustrated, continued to try and hone in on the snitch.

William didn't hit anything.

Pulling up to the hoops, once again his shot was blocked. This was getting incredibly annoying.

It was had to follow the snitch around the edge of the pitch for so long g and felix was secretly grateful when it suddenly shifted upwards, following it's path further towards the center of the pitch.

Ivy groaned as miles didnt score "good shot. Better luck next time" she called before flying forward to catch the ball as it was thrown back into play.

Felix swerved to the left, more careful now of avoiding bludgers.

Ivy made her way towards the goals. This was it. She focused trying a slightly different technique aiming across to the goal in the far side of the hoops from where she was. Hoping this would go in. She watched it fly and smiled as it went past the keeper and straight into the goal. yay she called looking at teddy with a grin on her face excited to have finally got a point.

William didn't hit anything.

At least the chasers seemed to be having some luck.

Which was more than he could say for the beaters.

Ivy did a little dance on her seat, still celebrating making a goal.

William zigged and zagged all over the pitch until he came across a bludger and gave it a good whack, accidentally sending it hurtling towards @Felix Layton-King. "Sorry bro!"

Felix's fingertips were practically touching the snitch, when suddenly a bludger came hurtling out thin air and smacked him in the shoulder. He fell back immediately, yelping as he heard William's apology. He didn't think it was on purpose, but it was still disappointing to hit by your best friend of all people. Wasn't his job to protect him?

ivy couldnt see any other chasers around so she flew forward and took the quaffle as it was thrown in.

William didn't hit anything, but at least he didn't hit Felix again.

Flew towards the hoops. Dodging an bludge that came I. Her direction. Or had she flown into its direction. It was hard to tell with those ball sometimes. She felt confident going in. Like she was on a role. She faked left three right and got the ball in. A grin on her face. This is what she was talking about.

Felix knew he was falling behind now he'd been hit by Will's bludger, but he focused hard and flew back in the direction of the snitch. Reaching out once more, Felix extended his arm and recovering faster than he realised, managed to catch the snitch again. "Hah!" he grinned at Aroha, knowing he now had four catches against her zero. There was no way she was showing him up.

Santiago looked for another bludger to hit. He just hoped he'd have better luck during their actual game.

Ivy grinned as she hovered seeing if anyone else would take the quaffle.

Miles was annoyed he was having an absolutely rubbish showing, forcing a smile as Ivy managed to score again. At least one of them was having some luck, but now it was his turn. He grabbed the quaffle as it was tossed back in, determined to try and score this time.

Felix let go of the snitch after waving it about in front of his face for a moment, hoping he could get five catches, just to round off the number.
