Gryffindor Practice Y49 S1

Miles one more arrived at the hoops, launching the quaffle and watching as once again his shot missed and was blocked. It was hard not to feel slightly disappointed about it.
 
Rose continued to block the hoops
 
Ivy smiled as Miles took a shot. it looked like it was going to be good but then it missed. "nice shot that was so close next time i bet" she called encouragingly. before taking the quaffle as it was thrown back in and starting to fly her way back up the pitch.
 
Aroha kept in pursuit. Curse this snitch and its quick movements.
 
Ivy took a shot at the goal. And was disappointed but not surprised that it missed
 
Aroha kept on trying to reach out but each time the snitch would flit out of reach.
 
Ivy hovered catching her breath and looking around to see if anyone else was coming in to get the quaffle
 
Aroha reached out once more, but couldn't quite grasp the snitch.
 
Not seeing any other chasers around, Ivy caught the quaffle and started to fly towards the other hoops keeping an eye out for bludgers and any other chasers.
 
4 hour rule

Ivy approached the goal and took a shot letting out a groan when she missed. Why did she even bother trying.
 
Aroha was practically close enough to him now that if all he did was.. extend an elbow.. he'd poke her in the side..
 
Teddy caught the quaffle and threw it back out to play.
 
Felix leaned forward still, willing himself to move ahead of Aroha, and reaching out his arm he felt as though his fingers were mere inches from the snitch.
 
Aroha could see Felix was close to getting the snitch. She's bumped up against him, trying to get him to lose the advantage he had but got no closer herself to catching the snitch.
 
Felix stuck out his arm, accidentally trying to elbow @Aroha Blenheim in the ribs.
 
Santiago swung and missed.
 
thanks teddy Ivy called caught the quaffle as he threw it in before starting heading back up the pitch. This was starting to feel an awful lot like last year.
 
"Ow!" Aroha said, throwing a glare Felix's way but falling back a bit because of it.
 
As Aroha fell back a little, Felix tried to move on front of her to block her from the snitch.
 
Ivy flew towards the goal and focused at rose as she guarded. Before throwing the ball through the hoops. At least that was the plan. Unfortunately she had focused too hard on the keeper and the goal was saved. Oh well there was always next time.
 
Ivy hovered checking to see where the other chasers were and if either of them would come in for the quaffle.
 
For someone who'd caught the snitch three times within minutes of the practice starting, Felix was sure finding this one to be more difficult than he'd been expecting.
 
Ivy looked around waiting to see if another chaser would take the quaffle.
 
This was not going well, Miles was starting to feel a little annoyed that he hadn't managed to score yet. He just needed to get on the board, so with that in mind he swooped forward to grab the quaffle when it seemed no one else was going for it.
 
Felix turned his head to wink at Aroha, hoping it would catch her off guard.
