Gryffindor Practice Y49 S1

fiona managed to hit a bludger and hit it towards one of the seekers @Aroha Blenheim

Aroha wasnt having a good time by the looks of it. Felix flew away from everyone to keep his distance from the bludgers, before hunting for the snitch for the fourth time.

Evy was lookign forward to quidditch practice. she made her way to the pitch andtook to the sky. she was glad that miles the new chaser got the quaffle first and she followed him up the pitch to help out. She watched as he was hit just beofe his second shot at goal. "Oooh Miles are you okay that looks like it will live a good bruise tomorrow" she said checking in on him before flying forward to catch the throw in.

Felix continued to dodge around the other players, keen to keep out of their way while searching for the snitch.

Santiago missed his shot.

Ivy approached the goals and took aim throwing the book to the hoop. Unsurprisingly after last year is was a miss.

Santiago swung again and missed. He sighed before flying to find another one.

Felix thought it was probably best he didn't catch the snitch again too soon, so began to slowly fly toward it when he spotted the glimmer of gold.

Santiago kept looking for a bludger.

Felix continued to hunt around for the snitch, glad he was also still avoiding the bludgers.

Santiago swung but missed again.

Felix wondered whether the other seekers on the other teams had done better than him during their practice. Unlikely.

Aroha tried to pretend the bludger to her side hadn't hurt. It had. But she was more invested in finding the snitch - however, it eluded her.

Santiago kept looking for bludgers.

Teddy gave Ivy a sympathetic smile when he blocked her shot. He threw the quaffle back out to play then continued to watch Felix. He was good.

Aroha continued to look for the snitch, honestly really annoyed at how well the other seeker was doing. She really was determined to show him up but practice wasn't going her way.

Felix was glad he'd been practising over the holidays, clearly it was paying off.

Aroha tried searching the other side of the field - clearly this area had no snitches.

Felix was on the opposite side of the field, where there were also, no snitches.

"I'm fine," he responded quickly with a smile as he was asked if he was alright after the bludger. It had hurt, but he would live. It was not the first time he had been hit by a bludger. Following after Ivy, he took posession after her shot was blocked.

Felix was certain he'd seen something glittering in the sunlight, so quickly darted after it.

rule 2b

ivy returned teddys smile as he threw the ball in. She sighed and looked around. realising that no one else was nearby she flew forward and scooped the quaffle into her grip and started to fly back to the other hoops.

Felix positioned himself lower on the broom, speeding up toward the snitch. He just needed to get a little closer...

Ivy flew along the pitch “focus” she told herself. No slowing off for the new people. Not that she seemed to have much to show off at the moment. She approached the goals. Keep it simple she told herself as she saw rose there. She aimed at the hoop feethest away from the keeper and then almost sure she knew what the disappointing result would be. Instead she watched as the ball sailed through the hoop. She could t help but let out a loud whoop before tie I g to look at teddy at the other end of the pitch. A huge grin on her face. Maybe it was a bit of an over reaction. But man she had missed so many recently and score was a huge boost to her confidence.

Felix was coming up on the snitch, when all of a sudden, he heard someone whoop. He glanced across to see Ivy had scored, but unfortunately for him in doing so it had cost him precious seconds following the snitch. He resumed the chase.
