Graduation 2040: Spectators and Guests
OOCOut of Character:
Here is the area for invited guests, staff, professors and prefects to post while at the graduation. Please be reminded that you are also invited to start separate RPs that take place after the graduation.

Though Monty only taught up to the fourth years of the school, he'd come to know many of the older students as well, both through conversing and, in some cases, notoriety. Feeling obliged and keen to wish the graduates well on their way, the Potions Professor slipped into the great hall several minutes before the head boy and girl stood to give their speeches. He smiled fondly and chuckled through them, clapping at the end of each one and wondering how two people could be so wise for their years. Wherever life took them - and they indisputably had plenty of it left to go - he was sure their every endeavour would be a success, and that they would achieve feats beyond even their own imaginations. For the class of 2040, one door had closed, but a thousand more were ready to be opened.

Khalil had not been to a graduation since his own a few years ago. It was an exciting time in any young wizard and witches life. The man held a smile, happy to be a part of this, blessed to have been hired at this school. In his mind he thought of his sister, whom had eight years and then she would be doing the same, her own person at the end of her schooling. These people had their whole lives ahead of them, and he only hoped that they would use what was ahead of them for the greater good, and follow their dreams to the end.

Alecto had never set foot into the castle known as Hogwarts New Zealand. However, despite the annoyance he was feeling, he was not about to turn down an invitation to attend an event within the castle. Granted he had been thinking how useless this event was, he had also been shocked to even receive an invitation in the first place. Especially since he had no more family within the castle, his youngest sibling having graduated the year before. It seemed however that Kimmara had been more than happy to invite him to her graduation. Her reasons, he didn't care to find out. And yet, he was there within the Great Hall, although he had admittedly fallen asleep in the middle of the Head Boy's speech. It was too d*mn long. He had woken up just in time to see the woman who had invited him go up the stage though. The rest of the ceremony had gone by in a flash and soon enough, he was just standing by the great doors, waiting for Kimmara to congratulate her personally for this achievement she had acquired.
