Girls Night Out

Hearing a constant knocking noise, Nicolette's eyes bolted opened and she soon found herself immediately regretting it. Her head began to pound and the room started to slightly spin. And that damn knocking was still going on. Niccy slowly pushed herself up and gripped her head as she stood onto her feet. Stumbling slightly she made her way to the door and flung it open roughly.

"Why...the hell do you keep knocking?!" She snarled as she glared at Prodan with fierce golden eyes. She honestly felt like she was going to cry, pass out, and throw up all at the same time. "Oh it's you....ugh." She said in a rude tone before she motioned for him to come in and loudly slammed the door behind him and began to stumble her way back to the living room.

Cecily stirred on the floor. Someone was hanging pictures. "Dad?" she mumbled, lifting her head from the floor. "It's Sunday," she sighed, eyes staying firmly closed as she grabbed the pillow from her chair and cuddled with it. "Mum's gonna kill you if you wake her up." Blonde hair splayed around her head and curtained her face, the fedora having been jarred off during the night. She drew her legs up, mumbling she was cold and cuddled her face against the pillow to hide from the day.

Prodan jumped when Nicolette yelled at him, but he raised an eyebrow after he entered and saw the messy living room. "Geez, looks like a tornado ran through here." He made sure his voice was low, and he glanced around. No Cecily. But hearing some mumbles made him look down, and there she was, cuddled on the floor. It felt odd being in a house with two females with boy shorts and tank tops on. If he didn't know Nicolette or Cecily, then he would have sworn this was not their house. Prodan bent down next to Cecily, and he resting a warm hand upon her shoulder, "Um, did a party of trolls come in here or did you two do this?" Prodan was befuddled.

Cecily groaned and snuggled her face further into the pillow. "Five more minutes mom!" She lay there, then blinked slowly, green eyes squinting against the glaring sunlight that filled her house. Then slowly two things dawned on her; this was her own floor she was passed out on and the warm hand rubbing her shoulder belonged to the delicious smelling man kneeling beside her. Rolling over quickly, she blinked up at him before groaning and putting a hand to her head. Stupid stupid stupid!

"I dunno about trolls...but I think I got ran over by the Knight Bus." Nose scrunched up a bit, she slowly sat up, moving like an old woman. "Where are my pants?" she turned her head and saw them through the window, hanging haphazardly from a branch. "Oh." She blinked rather owlishly then turned her head to grin sheepishly at Prodan.

Nicolette groaned before she tossed a nearby blanket at Cecily to cover herself with and walked off to retrieve her pants. It didn't take her long before she had them and put them on before she returned to the living room. Her head was still pounding roughly, and her stomach lurched occasionally as she tried to remain standing. Drinking had probably been on the dumbest things she had done the longest time.

"What the hell did you give me Cecily?!" Nicolette asked Cecily in a snappy tone as she tried her best to glare down at Cecily, but her blurred vision was making it really hard to concentrate at being rude. "Better idea, what are you doing here?" She asked Prodan with a raised eyebrow before she decided to head off in search of some aspirin. As a ex-healer she should know how to treat this, but she was currently drawing a blank.

Prodan glanced in the direction of where she was staring to see the pants. Prodan struggled not to laugh, but he released a few chuckles. "Had a wild night, huh." Prodan removed his hand from her shoulder to allow her to sit up and he crossed his legs in an indian style. He glanced up at Nicolette and guessed that she woke up on the wrong side of the bed. "Um, popped in for a visit. I didn't know that you two would have had such a rough morning or else I would have waited until the evening." Prodan shrugged and hoped that she wouldn't attack him. There was no telling with Nicolette. After what he saw with her and Theodore, well... Prodan turned his attention back on Cecily, and he murmured, "Why don't you take some sort of medication to help out, and go get dressed? I can come back later if you want..."

As nice and warm as the blanket was that Niccy tossed at her, she still felt overwarm from embarrassment this morning. "I think we drank everything I had," she murmured to her obvious angry friend, before watching her storm off. Cecily ran her fingers through her hair and absently sniffed at a few locks. Oh sweet Merlin, she smelled like a brewery. "Um, okay. Shower first definitely," she nodded slightly, even the small movement shooting pain throughout her head. She tried getting up on rubbery legs and ended up back on the floor, luckily with the cushion to impede the impact of the hard floor to her bum. "If I can get there." She bit her lip, then glanced at Prodan with twin dots of color on her cheeks. "Think you can help me up there?"

Suddenly remembering that she shouldn't leave those two alone she softly grabbed the back of his shirt. The effects of her hangover were beginning to wane, thank the heavens that she was able to still use some of her healing ability's. However, she still felt pretty gross, and really thought that she be cleaning up. So of course her work wasn't done. "Hold it Romeo, I'm sorry I yelled...but I don't really think it's a good idea if you helped her up there." Nicolette said with a small smile. Sh felt bad for being rude to him, it wasn't his fault her cared about Cecily...or he was hormonal.

"Wow this place is trashed." Nicolette blinked at scratched her clean cheek that she had managed to clean of paint when she gone to get some medicine for Cecily and herself. What had they actually done last night besides drink?

Prodan stood up and helped Cecily up upon her feet. He felt Nicolette tug on his shirt, and Prodan gave her a soft look, "Look, I'm just going to help her to the shower. I will be straight down. I promise." When a Zhefarovich promised something, they had to keep their word. He glanced around the place and he said, "Maybe I ought to help out with cleaning. I am actually fully sober and didn't have a hangover." Prodan chuckled while he teased.

Sighing softly, Nicolette removed her grip off of Prodan's shirt and smiled softly. If he hadn't been such a sweetheart and treated Cecily with such care she probably would've been more upset. But he seemed like he was telling the truth, at least she thought he was. "If your not back down in ten minute's, fully clothed I might add, I'll make you clean the whole house by yourself." She winked a Prodan before she giggled softly and turned away from the two before she walked off into the kitchen.

Cecily stood silently trying to keep her balance while they talked. Blinking and weaving a bit, she followed her friend leaving the room with her eyes then turned wide green eyes on Prodan. "Thanks," she smiled slightly. She was about to say more when he picked her up and carried her up the stairs, careful not to jar her head. It was then, as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders and looked up at him that she knew; Cecily was in love with Prodan.

Feet firmly planted on the ground, Cecily, a bit shell shocked by her revelation, turned on the taps, pulled the lever to start the shower and absently threw off her remaining clothes before stepping behind the curtain. "Are you," her voice cracked a bit, she cleared it, "what were you doing today?"

Prodan stared down at her in a loving way, and he merely smiled at her. He turned out of respect when she stepped into the shower. Thankfully he had already showered this morning or else he would have joined her. "I was just dropping by to see how you are doing... Thought I would while Austin was over at Kalif's house watching his youngest daughter and Kaleb. Aleyha is over at Asparuh's..." He actually told Austin to so that he could have a day alone. Aleyha practically begged Prodan to go, and Asparuh agreed so sudden. Prodan paid no mind to it. Prodan sighed, "I better head downstairs before Nicolette kills me." Chuckling, he let Cecily be, and went back down the stairs, still fully clothed. He smirked at the blonde, "Happy?"

Nicolette had been busy staring at the dark mark on her arm carefully when she heard a voice behind her. She tensed up for a moment before she quickly pulled her hoodie sleeve down and turned to face Prodan with a small smile on her lips. Apparently Prodan was one she could definitely trust someone in the near future.

"Ecstatic. Now are you really gonna help me clean or are you just going to stand there all googly eyes." She asked playfully as she pulled her wand out of her sweatshirt and wandered into the living room. Which needed some serious cleaning done to it. Good thing she had magic, or this could take all day.

Freshly scrubbed, dressed in soft jeans, pullover sweater and rainbow socks, Cecily made her way down the stairs. She'd scrubbed her teeth and tongue to get that filmy grossness off. A dash of very light perfume, honeysuckle, on her wrists and behind her ears later, she felt like a new woman again. Well, except for the headache, which would go away eventually.

She walked up behind the pair standing in her, no their, living room and withdrew her wand as well. Shyly, she flicked it at the couch. The cushions fluffed and dusted themselves and the drawings of thestrals having tea with water buffalo disappeared from the back. "Thank you Prodan," she smiled. "You really don't have to do this. It's sweet of you to help." Her eyes met, glanced off his then cast downward. She felt shy and a little awkward around him, now that this great big feeling was pumping through her chest.

Prodan stuck his tongue out at Cecily. A silver ball could be seen because he had his tongue pierced. He flicked out his wand and he waved it as the area started to clean itself. When Cecily came in, he grinned broadly. She looked great. Well, when did she never?

Nicolette playfully rolled her eyes and went back to cleaning up the living room. It was plainly obvious that these two were either in love with each other or soon to be. It was even obvious enough for Nicolette to pick up on it by even the simplest glance they gave one another. 'I wonder if either of them will confess on their own or I'll have to give them a little nudge instead..' Nicolette thought to herself as she glanced at them out of the corner of her gold eyes. She was really tempted to just leave the room and let them be on their own, but decided against it because the living room was almost clean and she figured she might as well just finish that before she walked off.

Cecily worked quickly and rather quietly. The living room finished, she started non verbally accioing their clothes from the tree and lawn. Clothes firmly in hand, she levitated them to the laundry shoot in the hallway, a leftover design in the house that came in extra handy as it sent the clothes downstairs to be washed. The other occupants before her had probably used the dumbwaiter to transport things upstairs, rather than down but Cecily had converted it for her use.

"I um, think we didn't get to the rest of the house last night, thankfully it's safe," she grinned, tucking strands of hair behind her ears nervously. "I think I'll make us some tea." Nodding, still not meeting Prodan's eyes, she left and went to the kitchen. There she mechanically went through the motions of steeping earl grey tea in the ceramic tea kettle. She'd transported her black china with the small pink elephants on them to her house; she'd used to keep them in the greenhouse. All the while her mind was a whirl of conflicted thoughts; should she tell him? What if he didn't feel that way towards her yet? Or at all? Or ever? Oh how she wished for the simplicity of days gone past, where she could simply hand him a note; Do you like me? Circle Yes or No.

Chuckling, she put the china service on the table. She heard the heavier steps as Prodan came into the kitchen. Calm, calm, remain calm, don't act stupid. It was hard not to just fling her arms around him and shout that she loved him while kissing his face off. She had never been in love like this before, true love.

Soon Nicolette had also made her way into the kitchen with a small and smug smile on her face. She knew exactly what was going on with Cecily, and although she knew she shouldn't really meddle..she was going to anyways. Nicolette figured that if she didn't those two wouldn't get anywhere anyways. Coming over to the table she smiled at Cecily before she turned to Prodan.

Prodan, don't you just love how thoughtful Cecily is." She snickered to herself quickly before she winked at Cecily and walked off to go cook herself a piece of toast. By now she had seemingly gotten used to working the toaster.

Was it just him, or was Cecily acting a little strange? Prodan was a little worried. He was sure he smelt fine. His breath was like spearmints thanks to his toothpaste and mouthwash. Prodan glanced in Nicolette's direction and he smiled, "Yeah, why do you ask such a question like that when it is obvious?" Chuckling, his eyes went back to Cecily. A feeling so strong was in his mind and heart. But he had yet to discern what this feeling was. It was much stronger than anything he ever felt.

Cecily reddened when her eyes met Niccy's devilishly smiling ones. Head lowered, she finished steeping the tea. Since Niccy was behind them making toast, Cecily poured a cup for herself, then one for Niccy and Prodan. She turned to him with the cup in both hands and offered it up to him. The symbolism wasn't lost to her; as she offered up the steaming cup, green eyes soft and wide, so did she offer her heart. She knew it was dangerous, letting what she felt into her eyes, her expression open and unguarded.

Nicolette turned away from the toaster with a warm piece of whole wheat toast in her hand. She didn't dare put anything on it because she hated almost anything you could possibly think of to put on a piece of bread. The moment Nicolette turned hers eyes widened when she said the look on Cecily's as she handed Prodan the cup. Coughing loudly she hoped to get both their attentions once more, she wasn't done teasing them just yet.

"Oh and don't you just love how tasty the tea she made is." Nicolette said with another small chuckle. She bit into her toast and stared at the two of them with her eyebrow raised. Obviously they weren't getting the hint. "Sheesh Princess your so clueless." Nicolette said teasing before she snatched her cup of tea and wandered out of the kitchen.

Prodan took the cup, and he swore that his heart did a flip. He swallowed hard, and he bit his lip. He didn't even hear Nicolette. Instead, he just stared down at Cecily, and he couldn't say what he wanted. Prodan finally smiled sheepishly at Cecily. He knew what was happening to him. He was falling, and he was falling deep. So deep, he knew he would never get out of it, if he wanted to. Prodan was hopeless in love. But the words just wouldn't form. He couldn't speak as if someone just cast the silencing charm upon him.

Cecily swore her fingers tingled from where his brushed hers as the cup exchanged hands. She saw something within those deep silver eyes, so strange and alluring, that her breath drew in sharply. Finally finding her voice, she murmured, "Sit with me on the porch for a moment?" Her own cup in hand, she turned and went through the back screen door onto the small porch. Potted plants hung from nearly dozens of hooks, the sight was colorful, the air fragrant in a pleasant way from the flowers.

Sitting on the porch swing, she turned to look at him when he sat down. "How have you been, since last I saw you?" she asked softly, a small smile on her lips. She reached out to run her fingers down his cheek, lightly pressed her palm to his jaw. I love you.

"I wanna hear what they are gossiping about." Nicolette said to herself as she placed her cup down and finished the last of her toast. She hated feeling left out, and wanted to know if they were going to confess or not. With a sly smile she turned and ran out the front door and around the house. Standing by the edge of the house she did't turn the corner. She couldn't exactly see what they were doing, but she could hear them very well. And as long as she was quiet they probably wouldn't notice. 'They'd better confess or I'l have to tease them more.' She thought to herself.

Prodan sat down on the porch swing and fully welcomed her touch. It warmed his very soul. Prodan confessed, "Missing you, actually." Prodan flushed with embarrassment. How could he say the things on the top of his head like this? Of course, when someone is in love, you tend to do stupid and crazy things. It counts for what you say, right? Prodan put his hand upon Cecily's, "How have you been?"
