Daintree had thought about not doing another fourth year study session, but really he knew despite the feeling that it was pointless, he should. He liked organising those things and like organising things in general but he wasn’t really feeling it. However, with their exams pretty close and a little lull in the activities of just about everyone else. Daintree had decided he might as well. He put a note around the fourth years to come to the student lounge, where a table had been cordoned off for them to work at. He could admit that it was usually a good occasion to be more known to those in his year that he didn’t know, those that were smarter but he knew he actually got little studying out of them, Daintree had averaged passing grades since first year, never really putting in more work than was necessary to get him to the next year. He wasn’t particularly thinking about long term goals, and more what he wanted then and there. He gotten the elves to provide some light snacks, and some drinks and he was just sat at the head of the table with some charms books out, vaguely half reading and waiting for others to turn up.
Open to all fourth years who wish to come study.

Sully new, absently, that he should probably worry about school and stuff more. He liked things that he was good at and other stuff was boring. But the Fourth Year study group was more of an excuse to hang out with his friends than anything to him, so he decided to show up anyway, if only to pester Daintree. Maybe he'd get some reading done, but probably not. Their OWL year wasn't until next year and Sully was intent on trying not to worry about classes too much until he absolutely had to. "Daintree!" He said cheerfully, dropping down into a chair at the study table and propping his elbows on the table. "Oh sweet, you got food," Sully said, picking through some of the snacks. "Can't believe it's almost exam time already, aye?"

Daintree glanced up as the first person walked into the room. He was pleased to see them, he hadn’t spent nearly enough time with Sully in this year as he had in years prior, though he this was mostly his own fault, he was pretty wrapped up in Tres...and everything else. The boy smiled however and nodded, ”Course, can’t study with sustenance,” he retorted, mostly it was also so he excuse his own frequent breaks, but he knew it would be good to have things to eat too, ”I know, rolls around so quickly. Been super behind on my studying too,” he said, though the latter statement was a lie, he hadn’t really been trying much when it came to studying - not that he ever did. ”I heard about your little spin the bottle game,” he kept his gaze on him light, a little smirk but it was also an eagerness with it, curious to know what had actually happened, why and half to try to see if Sully might do it again at some point down the line. ”What will you be studying first today?” he added, almost as an out in case Sully didn't want to talk about it.

Padme hadn’t gone to study sessions before but she’d also never been a fourth year before and never thought that she might really need it. She had never really struggled with her exams before but she knew they would only get harder and her study habits weren’t really the best. They sufficed but they were not the best they could be. The hufflepuff therefore thought it would be good to go study, to spend some time studying and going over what she needed to in a group setting where she might just be able to ask questions or work with others, that suited her just fine. The hufflepuff walked into the student lounge and spotted the students from her class, she walked over to them quickly and sat down, greeting them quickly before just getting to studying, she knew both of the boys vaguely from all of the classes they had together and given her recent attendance of a certain game. But while they were clearly speaking, Padme just focused on her studying.

Sydney personally didn't put a lot of stock in grades. She knew she was smart, she didn't need some stupid exams to tell her as much. The education system was broken anyway. Even so, a study session as a social experiment couldn't hurt her that much. And maybe Samantha would be there as well. At the very least, she didn't mind Daintree's presence and she had some reading she wanted to get done, so, packing up her books, Sydney made her way to the Student Lounge, surveying the currently gathered students speculatively. With Solomon there, she didn't doubt it wouldn't take much for things to devolve into loud Quidditch talk and Sydney preemptively curled her lip. At least Padme seemed quiet and Sydney decided to sit by her even if she'd never really talked to the Hufflepuff. She gave Daintree a nod of greeting before pointedly pulling out her book on curses to get reading.

Sully gave Daintree an affirmative nod and a thumbs up as he chewed, glad that the study session was already going better than he'd thought. Padme joined them not long over and Sully waved hello to her, still chewing. "Oh yeah man, you should have come it was super fun," Sully said, swallowing and moving past the mention of actually studying. "Tres came. She can be kinda a stick in the mud though. She didn't kiss anyone though at least," He said with a shrug. He didn't want to insult Daintree's girlfriend or anything, but she was kinda uptight, and it was weird she was there without him. Daintree would have been way more fun to have at the game. Sydney also joined them as they were talking, but Sully mostly ignored her. She was pretty much the definition of anti-social and it was a relief that she kept to herself.

"Uhh," Sully cast around when Daintree asked what he was studying, rifling through various things in his bag. "Charms I guess? Charms is pretty fun," He settled on, fishing out his Charms book and peering at one of the pages he'd dog-eared in class.

Minnie had never really gone to the study sessions before, never seeing the point in it and thinking that it was likely to only prevent her from studying, as others attended, had discussions and everything else, but Minnie knew it was probably time for her to just stop isolating so much in her studying. She’d already not bothered to tell her parents about the loss in quidditch, and so breaking from her schedule more to go to a study session that would put her behind everything else was just a next step. She was just going to wait until the end of the year and then when she went home she’d report back and see what happened. She just knew that it would probably be a little more enjoyable to spend a study session with others than on her own. She headed into the student lounge, her arms ladened with books and she easily spotted where they were studying, at the head of the table a slytherin boy she knew from quidditch, and a few others, whom she vaguely knew. "Hey," she greeted, her voice quieter than she would've wanted it to be, but she took a seat and took out a few books, looking to just get to studying.
