Lily wasn't excited at all to be home. She hated being here. At the place which had sent her to hogwarts in the first place. She Had gotten off the train and regretted it. She had known that she could stay at hogwarts, but she had been invited to a school party from her old school, and LIly was more than a little bit honored to attend. She had known they were missing her. She fixed the straps on her summer dress. Before taking confident steps towards her front door. She quickly opened it and without a word headed to her room. Which was on the second floor of the house. She carried her suitcase up to her tidy room. The floor was wooden, so with each step she took a noise was made. It didn't make for an easy and quiet entrance. Her room was the only bedroom which had a balcony which looked out to the front of the house and garden. Lily turned the handle and step inside. She gave a little scream, as she saw her brother sitting on her bed. Of course she hadn't not expected that, she of course she had screamed.

"Oscar! What on earth, are you doing, in my room" Lily yelled at him angrily.

Oscar had been sitting at the window sill of Lily's bedroom. He knew she returning that day. He was very excited for her return, he wanted to know all about Hogwarts. He wanted to read the books she'd gotten from the magical world. Oscar was looking forward to magic, hopefully that would happen. That he too would be magical, like his sister. He figured that he was. It was just so hard to tell. He saw Lily at the gate. He jumped up and down. He moved to sit on the bed. He heard her enter the house, and then come up to the bedroom he was sitting in. The scream made him jump right out his skin. Oscar stood up from the bed. He wanted to hug his sister, but she would hate that. So he just stood, with a real smile on his face.

"Lily. I was waiting on you." Oscar said calmly. His dull grey eyes, looking his sister up and down. "Tell me all about it, please Lily. Which house are you in? Classes? Everything."

Lily was ready to punch her brother. SHe couldn't believe him. Why would he want to know anything about the school. She knew he was terribly, but he'd much rather go to Hogwarts than an excellent dance school. Lily ignored him and walked to her bed, pushing past him. She placed her suitcase on top of her bed, she wanted to unpack but she knew that her brother wouldn't leave her alone if she continued. But Lily didn't want to talk about hogwarts.

"What are you doing up at this hour batboy." Lily teased her brother. "Still as nocturnal as you were before, or do you know sparkle in the sunlight like Stephanie Meyer's god awful vampires."

Lily stuck her tongue out at her brother, not even bothering to wait for a reply, before beginning to unpack her case.

Oscar laughed forcefully. He had known his sister would make jokes about the fact he was awake around at this time. Though, he spent most hours of the day awake. He barely slept, his skin was pale because of this. No matter how much summer sun was poured onto it. Always pale. He sat down on the bed, watching his sister unpack her things. He didn't understand why she needed so much clothes. He shook his head and looked to her.

"Very funny Lily. Please, just tell me." Oscar said "I'll carry all your bags when you go out shopping later to buy a dress for the school dance." Oscar offered. Thinking this would win his sister over.

Lily looked up at the offer. She'd never expect that from Oscar. He must really want to go to this school, she was thinking. She still couldn't understand why. It was a stupid school, that Lily was too afraid, to say she was beginning to like. Magic had it's good points. It really did. Lily took out a knew pair of shoes, and slipped off her the ones she was wearing. She placed on these knew shoes and went to the full length mirror. They were gorgeous.

"You've got yourself a deal. But remember, don't say my name too loud." Lily said. She saw the changed look on Oscar's face. She answered his question before he could even say it. "Yes we are going to wizarding shops. Go get ready, and then we can go." Lily added turning back to face her brother.

Oscar's face lit up as he saw his sister agree. And further to that, the wizarding area of shopping. He walked towards her to hug her, but decided against it. He walked out the room, running ever so slightly to his own room. He knew that Lily wanted him to change into something a little more presentable, he went to his wardbrobe and took out a White shirt and White tie. This was as Lily put it, his trade mark look. He went back into her room, to find she too was changed.

"is this fine?" He asked tugging at his black jeans.
