An owl landed on the table in front of Blake Irons the day after Valentine's day, dropping a yellow rose with a note in front of him. There was another note along with it.

LOVE SIERRA
Gotcha! :p
- Alice

Alice had made sure to find a seat with a good view of the Slytherin table and looked over curiously as the mail arrived. She grinned as she saw her owl drop the rose in front of the younger Slytherin boy who had ran away from her. He had received it! She grinned, glad she had managed to deliver her final rose, even if it was a day late.

Yesterday had been GROSS. There was no other word for all that mushy girly stuff. Super gross. Blake was relieved that Valentines was over and done with, and he wouldn't have to worry about girls chasing him with roses for another year.

It was horror, then, that Blake felt, when an owl dropped a rose and two pieces of paper right in front of him at breakfast. "GROSS!" Blake yelped, jumping back in shock. He looked around, hoping that nobody had seen him getting the rose, and DEFINITELY hoping that nobody had seen his reaction. Gritting his teeth, Blake flicked the flower away down the table, trying to just get it as far away as he could. The paper that had come with it was still in front of him and Blake picked it up, scowl deeping as he read them. Of course it had been two girls who had inflicted this fate on him. Lifting his eyes, he was only further infuriated to see that delivery girl grinning at him from the Hufflepuff table. Glaring back at her, Blake pulled a face, and made a big gesture of tearing up both notes.

Alice had thought the boy would be a bit annoyed, maybe even a little mad. But his actual reaction was a bit startling, and honestly kind of dramatic. Alice couldn't stop herself from giggling at his weird reaction to an innocent flower, and when he caught her eye, she waved at him cheerfully. In response to him tearing up the notes, she only shrugged. She had done her job as a delivery person, so it was now up to him what he did with it. She wondered why boys were so stupid about some things. It was just a flower, and a nice gesture to boot.
