First Time in Forever

[November Albertson]

November stood outside the Great Hall, lunch was just about to begin and she was waiting for Professor Haden to come down from his classroom to deliver the rose she was holding to him. She thought it was nice that the Professors also got into the holiday spirit and gave each other roses, at least she figured it would be from another Professor. She couldn't imagine giving one of her Professor's a rose, unless it was her head of house who was really nice. She thought Haden was nice even though she wasn't the biggest fan of charms, she hoped he wouldn't comment on that. She had done a lot better in the course this year and the previous year than she had done in first and second year. Suddenly she was feeling a more nervous about giving him a rose than she had when she gathered it earlier in the day.

[Professor Misha Haden]

Professor Misha Haden had chosen to take part in the rose giving, mostly to give one to Patricia. He hoped she would like it, because it was a small gesture, much like the one the year before. He didn't expect to get one back and so was just making his way to the great hall for something to eat before he headed back to class. He had plenty to prepare that day. He knew that students were kept busy with this, and then with decorating the hall. He needed to be quick about it, that was for sure. The man stepped down the last flight of steps and began walking towards where he needed to go.

November looked up hearing someone coming down the stairs and was glad it finally was the man she was looking for. "Professor Haden!" She yelled out running over to the man. She knew it would probably seem odd this young 4th year running up to him but she did have her bucket of roses. "I have a rose for you, uh, here it is!" She said digging through the bucket all the yellow ones mixing in with each other and finally finding the one meant for her Charms Professor.

[Professor Misha Haden]

Misha was very surprised when someone shouted his name, so he stopped and glanced round at them. It was one of his fourth years, November, "Ah, Miss Albertson," he said before a rose was thrust at him. He took the rose and then the note and smiled at them both. The note itself was from Jon, and he was rather happy to have one. He looked at the girl and nodded, "Thank you Miss Albertson, I'll see you in class!" he knew that likely this was embarrassing for the girl, so best to just wrap it up and let her go and let him get his lunch.

November gave her Professor a smile and a quick nod. She was glad to have given him the rose quickly and it hadn't seem very awkward to her. Mostly the waiting for him had been awkward. She wan't terribly looking forward to seeing him in class, mostly as it meant it was class time. She had to admit Professor Haden was probably one of the better looking of the Professors, although they all had fairly good looks, the whole lot. She thought her Aunt was the prettiest Professor of course. She smiled and waved at him as they separated their ways not saying anything else.
