First Impressions

Alois had let himself be led by Adrie to her dorms, not really caring about the curious glances thrown in their way, he had had enough of those the other night anyways, so it didn't need to bother him now. And besides, he was too fixated with his thoughts to care about them now. "Yes I am." He answered her question with a smirk, trying to come it off as a joke, though deep inside, he knew that there was some seriousness in it, just how he hoped that she won't notice such thing, or else, he might have to stop talking about it again. ". . just kidding Adrie, I'm just curious." He added as quickly as he could, trying to prevent the inevitable, not wanting to have them have a row on the halls once again, for the other night, no matter how hard it may seem, he had decided to keep his feelings to himself then, that way, both of them won't have to get hurt.

"Oh?" Gwen said to Alois' statement. It actually suprised her alot that he would say something like that, but the smirk threw her off and she took it as a joke. She shook her head as she let go of him and began to move down the hall again. "He'll have classes, and so do I. I may search for him this afternoon if he doesn't find me first," she told him seriously. It seemed she had to tell him things now, it was an understanding between them that they were best friends and best friends weren't suppose to hold back information, except the few details such as her sort of crush on Alois that would be something she'd never mention to him.

"I see, then we won't be able to see each other after this?" Alois said, coming it of as some sort of a question without him intending to do so. Of course, he did realized that fact already, that once Adrie and Jack were together, he'd have to spend less time with her, just to avoid any misconceptions as well as to avoid giving Adrie some troubles, he'd have to control himself if he wanted her to stay happy with her life, he's have to keep himself from falling from her deeper than he was at the moment, they're just friends, very good friends, that's just that, nothing more, as painful as it might have sounded, that's the reality that he had had to face.
OOCOut of Character:
had just noticed it, we had passed the 200 post mark.. xD

Gwenneth was confused by his question but also hurt. SHe wasn't sure why he thought that her having anything to do with Jack meant they couldn't see each other. She had just reached the door to the girl's dorm and glanced back at Alois. "We do have class today you know, you'll see me then," she said joking with him though she wasn't sure if it was a joking matter for either of them. Alois had sounded very serious when he asked her that question. She felt like hugging him as if she could sooth him through the hug and not get caught up in her own feelings. Gwen was actually suprised that she had held herself back from phsyical contact with him as much as she did. Usually with boy she liked she would always be bumping into them or have her hand lightly playing with theirs, but she needed to keep herself distant from Alois. "I'll be right back," she told him opening the door and heading inside the dorm hall. She wasn't sure at that point if she was going to be right back however.

A warm smile crossed Alois' face as he heard Adrie speak, of course, how could he forget that they did share the same classes? But even so, even though they did have that time to spent together, he knew that it wouldn't be the same as yesterday, that every time their classes would be over, Jack would be there to fetch Adrie off, he'll be there to help her with the things that she would need then, and though he didn't really want to think about it, he knew that the small part of his in her life had gotten much smaller then, he knew that sooner or later, it would only be those classes that they shared that would keep them in touched, he knew that sooner or later, somehow, the way that they would talk with each other would change, and he feared that day to come then. Being too focused with this thoughts, he didn't even noticed that they had already reached Adrie's dorm, not until she had stated it her self. Nodding as she told him that she'd be coming right back, he leaned against the wall, eyes closed, and his arms crossed in front of his chest, the day before had surely been a long and tiring day, yet, that say would also be one of the most memorable and happiest day of his life, a reminder that even at least once, he was able to enjoy his best friend's presence just by himself.

Gwenneth-Adrie reached down and took ahold of one of her many Purple Fantas that were scattered around her room in hiding. She didn't know if her roommate had stumbled across any of them yet but she didn't think so. Taking it in hand she opened the door to her room and took the walk back down the corridor at a nice even pace. She needed to get away from Alois but she kept going back to him or pulling him along. It wasn't good for either of them, and she knew it. Opening the door Gwen stuck her head out along with the hand that held the Fanta. "Alois? Here ya go. Now don't drink it all up to fast, never know when you might get another one," she told him seriously. Gwen of couse was only being serious because she had the dangerous habit of getting addicting to the drink, though it was more habit but it still wasn't good for her. Once she had prehaps twenty Fanta all in the span of an hour and a half. Not only did she have to make stops to the bathroom every few mintues but she was bouncing off the walls all night, considering she had the drinks before dinner; only to crash the next day in her first class and remained asleep for most of it in the Hospital wing where one of her classmates had carried her too. It wasn't a fun day after that, she woke with a headache and the addition of the drink which her body had been denied giving her the headache.

Alois opened his eyes when he heard that familiar voice of Adrie near him, she was rather fast in his opinion, though he was actually thankful for that for at least, his train of thought had been broken, He need not to think about that now, cause right at the moment, all that he had ever wanted to do was to just enjoy her company. "You sound like my mom when you say that Ad." He said, smiling as he raised his hand up to pat her on the head again before dropping it down to get his Fanta. "Thank you anyways, I'll keep whatever you had said in mind." He knew that what she was said was right though, he never did really know when it was that he'll be able to see her and get another fanta, not that it was what he had wanted, all he ever wanted was just to talk to her, even without a fanta included, but as weird as it sounds, it seemed like the fanta would be an excuse for him to start a conversation once again with her one of these days to come. "So...are you heading back up again?" He asked, wondering whether he'll have to leave now and get back to his dorm as well. It had been a long morning, they were both tired it seemed, and as sad as it may sound, they have to part ways sooner or later then.

Gwen shook her head at his first statement, for alot of people it might not have been the right thing to say but she was glad she had the chance to atleast something from her mother. His hand landed on her head but didn't stay for long, oh she was going to miss his constant displays of affection while she was with Jack. "Well then your welcome for both then," she said her hand dropping to her side as he took the Fanta. A smile was playing around her lips but it was really just there for show. Her eyes looked around taking in the scene before she left him, hoping to remember everything when she thought of him. Alot had happen in the past day till now, things that she were likely to forget but she'd never forget how what he said made her feel. Deep down there was this feeling that she should just reach up, pulling him down and kiss him; but he wanted to be just friends, there wasn't away around it and she wasn't that type of girl tp be so bold. so Gwen cleared her throat and her mind all at once before nodding her head. "Yeah, I better go shower and stuff. Finish homework too, I won't make it to breakfast of course," she told him, she never ate breakfast with the school. She prefered her German breakfast supplies to a questionable breakfast.

Alois knew that he would surely miss Adrie once they part after this meeting. Though they had only met the other day, it seemed to him that he had met him for quite a long time ago. It was very much easy to get along with her. And it is pretty much easy for her to make him smile and laugh as well. He had quickly been attached to her, he’s been used to talk to her though the time that he had actually known her was actually short. He just hope that once they have to go their separate ways, she will remember hi, and that the way that they interact with each other wouldn’t change, for he was certain that he’ll definitely remain the same. He’ll be the same Alois that she knew. “I see, then, shall we say good bye now?” He said, smiling serenely at her. He shouldn’t keep her long there, for she had lots of stuffs to do just like him. For though she had tried to help him last night, he was still not really done with his essay and he needed to finish that up to. It would have been great if he could just stay there and talk to her more, but he just knew that it would be very selfish of him to do such thing. “See you soon?”

Gwen held a smile on her face but it wasn't a grin but it was something, saying goodbye was never her forte. She stepped back a few feet ready to go and open the door and go back to her room. Now that she was standing in the hall alone, not with Alois it was rather chilly. Last night he had kept her warm and she was sure her face would blush whenever she thought about it, yet he didnt want her so she had to leave. Leave him alone, and go be with Jack; that was her plan. Gwenneth nodded her head to her friend and smile on her face. "Yeah, see you later," she said quickly before ducking back into the girl's dormitory hall.

"Right, see you later." Alois said, smiling as he watched his friend's retreating back. To him, it looked as if, she was walking out of her life already, as if she would never come back again, and though they weren't really in any relationship aside from being friends, it made him feel sad just thinking that he probably won't be able to talk to her once again. Even though Adrie was out of his view already, he just held his position. Standing there for a moment to think back to the things that they have done together. He knew that he'll miss that, but he cannot really blame her about that can he, after all, it was him who had let himself get attached to her. Sighing to himself, he began to walk back to the boy's dorm, ready to prepare himself for the long day ahead of him.
