Kanako smirked as she looked at her next recipient. How fortuitous of the organisers. Kanako was advised to look outside so that's what she did. Spotting the girl she wanted, she approached with a grin on her face. "Beatrice? I've got a rose for you," she said in a sweet sing-song voice.

@Beatrice Grey

Beatrice had managed to find some time to sit outside and read. She had forgotten about the rose from Morrie and had already pressed her rose from Maggie for an art project. The Ravenclaw was minding her own business when she heard a familiar voice. Turning around, she saw Kanako, and her face dropped. "You can't be serious," she replied, but Kanako did have a rose in her hand so maybe the universe really did want to make this the worst Valentine's Day ever.

Kanako tried to stiffle a giggle as excitement rose. "How badly do you want it?" Kanako asked, tilting her head slightly. "Or should I just tear up the message?" She took the note in her hands and pretended to be about to tear it up. She wouldn't really do that, but Beatrice didn't know that.

Beatrice eyed Kanako as she willed herself not to start crying out of frustration. She wanted to know who the rose was from, but for all she knew, it could be from Kanako herself. "If you do, I'll tell on you so you can't deliver roses again," she said, realizing that may have been a mistake. But she didn't know what else to say.

Kanako scoffed. She honestly didn't care that much about delivering roses again if she was being honest. "Do you think that really bothers me?" Kanako returned, then seemed to relent. Her fun had turned a bit sour at the idea of getting in trouble. Her dad would really dig in to her if he found out. She huffed. "I'll go easy on you this time. Here's your rose." She squeezed the yellow petals in her hand, digging into them with her nails to ruin them slightly before handing it over along with the intact note.

Hey Bea! Thanks for getting the pep club going. You're awesome! - Ruth
