<COLOR color="#000">Annalie stormed into the Great Hall, her face thunderous. Lapis had refused to do what she asked so as promised her secret was about to be told. Shoving past the people that dared to get in her way the furious brunette battled her way to the front of the hall. Turning to face the students eating lunch a sardonic smile grew on her face, she was going to enjoy this. Lapis deserved everything she got, she had brought it on herself. All Annalie had asked was to do what she said no questions aked, and yet here they were. The arrangement was broken and coming clean to the entire school was the punishment. Annalie had know that Lapis had a breaking point and reaching it was the fun of the game. Though she had to admit, she thought that Lapis would have snapped a lot sooner than this. It was fun while it lasted, but all fun things had to come to and end eventually.

Clearing her throat she pulled her wand out of her pocket and placed it to her throat, "Oi! Shut your faces!" she yelled, her voice vibrating through the hall. She hoped Lapis was going to here to hear this, "Your 'lovely' Ravenclaw prefect Lapis Lazuli isn't so lovely." she started getting into the flow, "She has lied to you all, she has convinced you stupid idiots that she is an innocent lovely girl. Has she told you that her mother is a Death Eater? That her mother is a murderer who has killed about three people? No of course not, because she wanted to appear to be innocent, so that you wouldn't suspect her. Every one knows the saying 'like father like son' this also goes for 'like mother like daughter'. Lapis could not have escaped her mother's influence, she is probably an aspiring Death Eater herself, who knows how many people here she is plotting to kill." Annalie paused for a breath, taking the moment to survey the students reactions, "Be warned she's probably dangerous so you'd better not cross her." Finishing her speech Annalie dropped her wand and stowed it back in her pocket. Putting both her hands in her pocket she rocked back and forth on her heels grinning, waiting for the uproar to start.

Lapis was contentedly eating lunch when she saw Annalie walking up to the front of the hall. She immediately knew what was coming, and that there was nothing she could do about it. Oh no. Oh, no, no, no, no. Her mind was stuck in a circle of dread, nothing to think of but how helpless she felt at that instant. Still, despite everything that had happened and was about to happen, she was gladshe had kept her integrity intact. Not that that meant much now. Annalie had begun blackmailing her upon discovering the truth; it had started with bullying other students, and escalated into a command to use the Cruciatus Curse on Aimee Darkhart. That Lapis would never do. And so, here was Annalie, standing at the front of the Great Hall, about to reveal her deepest secret.

When Annalie started speaking, it was worse than anything Lapis had imagined. She built it up with her typical skill at exaggerating, blew the facts far out of proportion. Lapis knew that her mother had killed one person, not three. And that nothing could possibly persuade Lapis to join the Dark Side herself, not after the way it had destroyed their family. But nothing she could say would make the slightest bit of difference. The secret was out. With everyone staring at her, Lapis put her head on the table and started to cry.

Tamalia sat quietly at the Gryffindor table, eating her breakfast like she usually did and having small talk with other fellow Gryffindors that she wouldn't remember the names of. Tamalia regularly tried to have small talk with her housemates, because if they hated her, which she was sure some of them probably did, it would be pretty awkward to live with them. Picking up and apple and biting into it, she smiled at her brother, and then at her niece/best friend Nadia, who sat at the Ravenclaw table. Her smiling faded when she saw Annalie, and for a split second she nearly threw her half eaten apple at her, but then realised that it would be a horrible waste of such a good apple, so instead she just watched her brother to make sure he wasn't attacked by that scum. When the Ravenclaw cow seemed to want everyones attention, once again Tamalia's apple nearly left her hand. "What does she want?" The somewhat blonde grumbled, turning around and glaring at the useless waste of space that occupied the Great Hall.

Shock spread through Tamalia's entire being when she heard the announcement, it was shocking, most certainly shocking. Tamalia hated Deatheaters and all that associated with them, so for about half a second she hated Lapis Lazuli, but then quickly realised that this was Annalie Darkhart talking here, it was probably a bunch of lies that she cooked up because the girl didn't do something, or told her to shove off. But it was still a low-blow and Tamalia felt incredibly sorry for the poor girl, so she stood up and walked up to Annalie, staring at her as if she was a crazied lunatic that just escaped from the funny farm. "Are you serious?" She questioned. "When will you stop contaminating the air with your worthless exsitence?" Tamalia had had enough of this girl existing, why couldn't she just leave?

Briar had just entered the great hall for lunch when she saw someone push past her she looked and saw the dark hair of one girl who she knew was a trouble maker making her way rather violently to the front of the hall. briar cautiously made her way to the gryffindor table and took a seat however she wasn't in there long as she heard Annalie shouting across the hall. as head girl she had a roll to keep things in order. also what the girl was shouting reminded her an awful lot to the rumours that someone had started about her the previous year. It was perhaps this similarity that really made her blood boil. she was on her feet in an instant and making her way quickly yet smartly across the great hall to where the girl stood. she could feel her temper heating up and tried her best not to totally blow last time she had been hits angry. when she was within an appropriate distance she started to talk. it wasn't shouting as such but it wasn't a normal talking tone either. Annalie Darkheart. Would You Please Be Quiet." she snapped. at the girl. heading a little closer. "People are here to eat their lunch not to listen to any crazy ass Rumors that you intend to spread." she continued. in her mind this girl was almost becoming Jaden, sticking up the posters. she looked at the hall to see how much damage had been done, it seemed like it was still sinking in for most people but she knew that soon it would be chaos "I am taking 10 points form Sly-Ravenclaw for your actions, and if no one else does I will report you to professors Spencer, Kingsley, Blaze and Davershire" she said the anger still in her voice. almost saying the wrong house in the process, though the girl was acting like such a snake it was almost understandable.
By this time they had been joined by someone else, another one of the gryffindors. Briar looked at her. "Tamalia, thank you for that but it would be best for you if you went back to your lunch" she said. knowing that this afternoon would be hell for the prefects after Miss Darkhearts outburst. she could see that Lapis was already in tears, she knew exactly what the girl was going through if the rumour be true or not she didn't care to have someone so blatantly spread something bad about you through the castle was something that she had delt with and would not tolerate. "don't think that this is over" she hissed before moving away to find the prefects and organise some extra patrols to try and stop chaos springing up in the great hall or the rest of the castle.

Arielle stared vacantly at her lunch, it looked so unappealing. She thought she was hungry moments ago, but whatever appetite she had disappeared when she caught a glimpse of what the great hall had to offer. Letting out an irritated sigh, Arielle reluctantly picked at her plate, yearning for some kind of distraction from the food, and the boring lull on conversation surrounding her. In her mind all the other Slytherins were either boring, or just plain creepy, sometimes even both. But today it seemed only her boring housemates had bothered to go to lunch. There wasn't a creepy student in sight. Thankfully, Arielle's thoughts were interrupted by the familiar sight of her Ravenclaw friend Annalie Darkhart entering the hall. Arielle sat up, and watched the silhouette of her friend, surprised when Annalie walked past her. What could she be up to? Arielle continued to watch Annalie as she made her way to the front of the hall, and called for everybody's attention, raising an eyebrow as the older witch revealed that some idiot named Lapis Lazuli's mother was a death eater, and had murdered three people. Arielle hadn't head Lapis' name or anything about her until now but she could already tell the girl was stupid. She did fail at hiding the fact her mother was a death eater after all. Annalie just had the courage and selflessness to tell the rest of the student body for their own safety.

The fourth year stood up, dusting her uniform off before strolling over towards Annalie. She planned to prod the Ravenclaw for more information about this, however her plans faltered when the realisation other students got to her first set in. Both Gryffindors judging by their uniforms. Why anybody from that house of Neanderthals would want to talk to Annalie was beyond her. Arielle shrugged this off, and quickly appeared by her best friend's side, the place she preferred to be. "Annalie just did this school a favour, so she shouldn't get in trouble." She snarled to the head girl, ignoring the other Gryffindor. The head girl, whatever her name was, was being unfair. If any other student had announced the news to the school, they wouldn't have points deducted like Annalie was. Arielle crossed her arms, waiting for Annalie's lead out of the hall. This school was so corrupt.

Tamalia smiled when Annalie lost points for Ravenclaw, she was feeling so pleased with that genius idea, that she even found it within herself to give the Head Girl a little bit a credit, and to poke her tongue out at the cow that stood in front of her. "Haha." She said quietly, making sure only Annalie heard her teasing. It was about time Annalie lost more points, maybe she would also try to learn how to fly-without a broom. Tama would be happy to help her with that one. When the Head Girl addressed Tama, the Gryffindor rolled her eyes, the Head Girl was obviously older, and had more power, and was a werewolf, but Tamalia simply ignored her suggestion. "I've got my lunch right here." She said, gesturing to her apple. The funny part was that Annalie losing Ravenclaw points was more fulfilling than any apple.

Tamalia watched a younger girl walk up and stand by Annalie, and then began to defend her. It made the Sixth year laugh. Annalie actually had friends? Of course they'd be younger, she probably didn't have the intelligence to hold a conversation with someone that was old enough to have their own opinion, it was strange that she made it into Ravenclaw. Talk about low standards. "Hey little girl, why don't you do this school a favour and find something productive to do?" She said, speaking to the girl as if she was three. Tamalia didn't care about this girl, nor did she care about what the Head Girl had to say, sure, she was in Gryffindor, and could probably infect Tamalia with her werewolf disease, but that didn't mean Tamalia would actually listen to her. This Gryffindor wasn't going anywhere until ofter Annalie left, then she would return to her seat, because she had her lunch in her hands.

It would be a surprise for anyone to see the fourth year Ravenclaw having his lunch in the crowded Great Hall. He knew he needed to experience this soon, mingling with other students, young or old. Yerik Rhys had his History of Magic book and notes, reviewing for his incoming exams. Even though the hall was filled with different students, and such noise loaded the place. The boy decided to stay, his hands clasped together while chewing his food. Every now and then he'll look at the others, observing their movement and knowing no one will talk to him. Loner. For a moment he grew tired of his History of Magic book and reached for his book, filled with new information about birds. What a bird watcher he was. Soon he didn't notice his plate empty, the last bite still hanging on fork. A few crumble of bread smothered on his spoon, taking his glass of prune juice he drank it all up. Prune juice, he wondered why he had asked for prune juice. The taste still lingers on his lips, bittersweet. As he finished his meal, the fourth year continued on reading a few lines from his bird book. His long pale fingers, playing with each page as he flips them gently. Pictures of different kinds of birds, some were moving through the picture as some remained still. It made him think if to use his camera to capture shots of birds, flying and or not. He adored their strong wings, colorful feathers and bold look. Just the thought of it made him smile a little, he too is a bird. A Ravenclaw, not by form but in mind and heart.

Yerik Rhys heard a storming of a student, a ravenclaw like him. She looked older than him, a hint of suspicious entered his mind. The stranger kept on saying things about their prefect, Lapis Lazuli. It came to his attention that she was looking for trouble and even worse, expulsion. He kept still and quiet, though he kept his eyes glued to her. A few did the same, and some reacted. Yerik Rhys didn't want to get in the argument, the less thing he needs is trouble and enemies. Though his face stiffened at the though of someone back-slashing a student like him, like them. "Just another attention seeker." he thought to himself as he heard the others speak. Some agreed and some were devastated, anger leading to chaos. Yerik Rhys didn't want to be on anyone's side, although he knew that the brunette was wrong. The less he cared the less he'll think of it. Still his eyes remained on her and nothing more. For a moment he shifted his eyes to their Head Girl and agreed, she is indeed causing them disturbance. Then to the Slytherin about his age and year, he never saw her in their classes. Keeping his mouth shut, Yerik returned his gaze to his book. This will end soon if not, then let her be suspended or something. A whizzing sound annoyed him, until he figured the irksome that the girl brought to everyone. "For Merlin's sake, shut the h3ll up." Yerik Rhys said looking back at the girl who caused this all. He was saying the words to her and to her alone. His volcano eyes raised in a matter of irritation, he didn't really shouted his words but he knew some students heard him. Besides he didn't knew the said prefect, there was no right to judge her.

Kate made her way down to the Great Hall for some breakfast. She was extra busy these days with OWLs just days away. Its was her own fault she was cramming, she hadn't done enough study at the beginning of the year but Kate wasn't the most motivated person in the world. She was staying up till all hours getting all the information she could stuck in her brain.A she walked into the hall, she could feel her eyes dropping. And she stumbled, almost falling over but quickly woke up.She shook her head and rubbed her eyes. This wasn't a healthy way of living, she had had enough sleepless nights last year and she never wanted to repeat that feelings.Nothing is worse when you are lying in bed all set to fall asleep but your body can't because it's filled with false energy which is keeping your heart going, making it beat faster then normal. She never wanted to be that sick again.Kate yawned once more and sat down at the Hufflepuff table.Pouring out some cornflakes, sprinkling some sugar over them and then pouring the milk in.she then picked up her spoon and began to eat

Kate's breakfast was soon interrupted by someone shouting.Kate looked around and her eyes narrowed.Standing a few feet away was Annalie Darkheart.Kate was shocked by what she had to say though.Kate didn't know Lapis Lazuli very well. She had never spoken to her and only seen her once or twice. She didn't seem like the sort of person to aspire to being a Death Eater but then again Kate didn't know her very well.Kate guessed Annalie would live to be a Death Eater, she loved causing pain and enjoyed it.Annalie was just doing this all for the attention ,ruining the poor girls life.Kate looked over at the Ravenclaw table and saw Lapis Lazuli burst out crying.Kate's heart went out to her no matter who her mother was.Annalie really was cruel. She must have been planning this for a while.Kate watched as Tamalia went up,Kate didn't like her very much either but she obviously hated Annalie. If she got annoyed and angry at Kate for being friends with Sammy she must be furious at Annalie for all the pain she had caused Sammy.Briar went up next and took ten points from Ravenclaw, personally Kate thought it should be something more. She didn't think Annalie actually cared about losing points, maybe suspension or expulsion would do the trick. It would be up to the Head of Houses and the Headmistress to decide that.Kate nearly chocked on her cornflakes when some younger girl came up and defended Annalie, how could you defend someone like that? Kate's anger rose. She really didn't want her breakfast interrupted by Annalie telling her that a girl's mother was a Death Eater. You couldn't judge someone by their parents. That was totally unfair and knowing Annalie she was making it all up. "Annalie just be quiet no one cares, just because her mother may be a Death Eater doesn't automatically make her one in the making"Kate said glaring at the girl. She didn't shout it,she just said it to the girl who she knew could hear her.

Briar was just about to turn and head over to some of the prefects who she could see sitting at the edge of one of the tables when she saw someone else making their way over and she knew that this was not boing to be over quickly. as Tamalia said that she had her linch with her she shot her a warning look but didn't say anything as the other girl had started talking saying that the school had been sort a favour. There is NO way that spreading rumours like that can be doing the school or anyone in it a favour" she nearly shouted. "Even if they are true, which I doubt, Lapis should at least have the right to decide what she does and doesn't want to share with the school" she continued starting to gain ferocity, saying things that she had been holding back for a year, she just hoped that she didn't accidentally say jaden at all. the only consolation she could think of for Lapis was that it was very near the end of the year and she doubted that by next term people would care or even remember the rumours of this year, where as for her it had been the first day when the schools gossip plate had been clean, and the gossipers would probably be looking for something to sink their teeth into. "you had better be quiet before I take any points from you as right now I think that this is new to you, don't make me think that you too were in on it" she said fairly to the younger girl willing to offer her the benefit of the doubt if she was smart to take it. As the other gryffindor started to tease the other girls she shot her a warning look that said that she wasn't above taking points off her own house either, "the same goes to you too, if you are only going to eat an apple maybe take it some place else" she said a little sharply.
Briar felt like over the year she had grown into her roll as head girl even if she hadn't particularly thought it was right for her at the start and now that someone was trying to threaten her dominance her animalistic tendencies were starting to show and she was trying to prove that she was the alfa in the present group, at least until a professor staff member or jeremy arrived. by now some of the other students were shouting up too. and she caught a good point from someone she thought was Kate moon. "She Is absolutely right. just because your family is something or does something does not mean that you will turn out like them. there Is no way in hell that I will be like my mother, Everyone has a choice to make. And they should make it for THEMSELVES" she said emphasising the last word. unwillingly sharing a little too much about herself but resisting the urge to camp her hands to her mouth when she mentioned her own mother. she had never met the lady but she knew that if she ever had kids, which she hoped wasn't going to be for a long while, she would never leave them to die the same way that her mother had left her to.

elvera Knew that something was going to happen today. she had seen it the night before. she had seen one of her first students sitting at the table in the great hall crying and heard other people talking and she caught a few words "Lapis' mother" and "death eater" she hoped that it wasn't anything too disastrous, she liked Lapis she was a good student both working hard and quite skilled in her class. so that day she tried to spend as much time as she could in the great hall heading down early for breakfast and staying there chatting to the other professors before she headed back up to her office for the morning, and then she did the same early to lunch it was when she was about half way through her lunch it happened. she heard one f the ravenclaws she she knew had been in a lot of trouble before, who she in fact had taken points off before which was a rare occurrence inits self. shout something out, It wasn't quite what she had expected, what she had saw mad made her think that her mother had got into trouble with the death eaters. either way it didn't matter. she got out of her seat and headed out from behind the staff table, instead of heading to the girl who had shouted out she went to Lapis as she was sure that other people would sort her out, but sometimes people often overlooked how helping the victim could be just as important. "Lapis, are you okay" she asked her taking a seat next to her at the ravenclaw table, It had been ages since she had sat here, after eating here every day during her time a the school she had felt odd sitting at the staff table. now though it was odd sitting here. she put a gentle hand on the girls shoulder "If you want to go somewhere quiet, or want to talk you are welcome to my office" she said knowing that even her house common room wouldn't be private from Annalie as they were in the same house.

Lapis glanced up from her position on the table, noticing to her relief that most of the attention seemed to be on Annalie rather than her. There was a small crowd gathered around her fellow Ravenclaw by now; Lapis recognised Briar Rowan by name and a few of the others by sight. She had a feeling that she should go up there and defend her own side of the story, but couldn't quite bring herself to do so. The attention would turn to her soon enough, she knew. And it would not be pleasant. Lapis had experienced malicious rumours before, but never anything to this scale. And never something that was actually true.

Suddenly feeling very self-conscious, Lapis endeavoured to wipe the tears from her eyes. Blurrily, she saw Professor Le Fey approaching her. She was one of Lapis' favourite teachers, and the Ravenclaw sincerely hoped that she, of all people, would not judge her for this. Lapis took a deep, shuddering breath as the Professor sat down beside her, but rather than accusations, she brought pity. Lapis was sure that not everyone would be so accepting, but she was grateful. "I- I think I'm okay now." Lapis attempted a smile. "Thanks."

Georgiana huffed as an older student bumped her over on her way to the front of the Great Hall. She was about to yell at the girl for being rude when the girl put her wand to her neck and began to speak. At first Georgiana was confused, then she realized who this girl in front of them was talking about. Another Prefect like herself, Lapis Lazuli. Georgiana didn't know much about the girl besides her name, they hadn't had any patrols together and in fact Sara was just about the only Ravenclaw she had Patroled with besides the Head Boy himself. Not that she counted him for much in her mind at all. The rumors coming out of the girl's mouth in front her made her suspect this girl could also be behind the Gossip paper, Rumor Has It. But that was just a side thought as she watched Briar get upset with the girl and threaten her and she also listened to others and their own thoughts. Georgiana reconized one boy who spoke as a Ravenclaw she had run into a few times, but her hatred for anything blue the past two years kept her from contacting him again. If she ever did get a boyfriend again, most certainly it wouldn't be with another Ravenclaw. Approaching the Head Girl who was somewhat a friend to Georgiana she looked over the girl who caused the ruckas. "If you had thoughts about her mother being a Death Eater it was something that you should have taken to the Head Mistress, a teacher or even the Head Girl or Boy. It's not something you should be shouting in front of the entire school. Briar I think you should take her to the Head Mistress's Office and I'll try to calm everyone here down," Georgiana said to the two girls near her. Most seemed more upset with Annalise then with Lapis' mother which was a good thing. Georgie believed that once Annalise was out of the room it'd be easy to get everyone focused back on their own meals and thoughts.

Athena sat in the Great Hall, looking at her bowl of cereal as she slowly ate spoonful after spoonful. She wasn’t a huge fan of cereal, but the other options were similarly unappealing this morning. As she placed a spoonful in her mouth, the Slytherin looked around the room, wondering what the commotion was about. She wasn’t surprised to see Annalie Darkhart at the center of it. Although she had not known who the girl was earlier in the year when she’d first spoken to Kiara, she now knew her. Everyone did. The girl had a big mouth, plenty of sass and seemingly loved to be at the center of things. Like now. Turning her head, Athena tuned in to the latest outburst from the girl.

Her silver eyes widened at the accusations that the Ravenclaw was hurling at another student, one she didn’t know. Outing her as a family member of a Death Eater? That was brave of the girl. Athena hoped that Annalie knew how to back that big mouth of hers up, especially if the girl’s mother really was a death eater. Surely, she wouldn’t like to learn that she had been outed. The girl quickly turned back to her meal, shoveling another spoonful into her mouth. Athena was quietly outraged at the revelation. What a dreadful, dreadful thing to do, she thought to herself. Her own family were proud pureblood supremists and she certainly knew some of the dark secrets that her family carried. She also knew that the other members of the school knew, or guessed, as well. It was why she usually wasn’t bothered much, even if she was a bit too shy and quiet. Watching as the pandemonium ensued, Athena couldn’t help but be pleased, for once, to see the Head Girl swoop down on the mouthy Ravenclaw. It would serve her right to lose housepoints or earn a detention. Though those things would be the least of her worries if what she said was true.

Minoas was sitting on Gryffindor's table, close to the front of the hall. He was reading an interesting article about mysterious kidnappings in Australia, featured in Daily Prophet while he was stirring absent-mindedly the cereals in front of him. He had his back turned to the corridor formed by the houses' tables and he didn't notice the storming student that was shoving determined past the people that were moving along the hall. While shallowing a spoonful of cereals, a feminine voice echoed across the hall that penetrated his eardrums and made him choke on a flake. With bulging, watery eyes he reached for a glass of pumpkin juice next to him, coughing in an attempt to clear his airway.

Escaping death from suffocation thanks to the pumpkin juice, he turned to see who had decided to break that morning's serenity. When he realized what exactly was going on, he turned back to his newspaper, rolling his grey eyes. "Attention seekers..." he whispered with a sigh and turned to the next page to check the next article. He was so sick of drama since the release of the gossip magazine full of false rumours but he listened what the girl had to say without facing her. Everyone seemed to be blaming others and not minding their own bussinesses. A way to forget their own misery? Sure. Minoas' hand was itching dangerously to grab his wand and jinx the ravenclaw out of they way, shutting her mouth. He couldn't stand loud sounds, especially when they were so close to him. He only turned to see her satisfied expression when she finished her accusations for something that wasn't her bussiness. As silence spread again across the room, Minoas started slow clapping, irony vivid on his features.

"Bravo...bravo...bravo! You must really be feeling that you accomplished something, huh?" he adressed the girl with no fear to show his frustration for people like her. He might haven't heard of the girl before that she was accusing but she had no right to mess around with others' private life. "Try better next time and you might get hired by the stupid author of Rumour has It." he was done talking with her when a fellow gryffindor reacted like him and Briar appeared to conform the attention-seeker. The ravenclaw was planning to put the spotlights on the accussed but instead it seemed that they were getting fixed on her. It should be getting quite embarrassing for her.
"Losing in your own game." he murmured while shaking his head and got absorbed once more in his newspaper.
