Personality
Evan is loud, bubbly, and you always know where you stand with her. She will attempt to make friends with anyone of a similar age to herself, and she will very clearly let you know whether she likes you or dislikes you, though she has never disliked anybody without a good reason to. She is extremely talkative and friendly towards her peers however she is highly distrusting of adults, and she has a strong distaste for the idea of growing up, or anything with a more mature or serious nature.
On the inside she is afraid of of open spaces and being away from home, but she wears her large personality like a suit of armour, and does whatever she can to establish a sense of safety and comfort around herself. Evan loves anyone who has ever been her friend, dearly, and she expresses this very openly. She hates the feeling of not knowing what people think of her, so she tries not to inflict the same upon others by always makes sure people know how she feels about them.

Evan is an enthusiastic seamstress, who has been designing and creating clothing since the age of four- beginning with cutting up her old clothing to make waistcoats for teddy bears and hats for dolls, eventually learning enough to begin to make entire outfits for herself. Her favorite thing to do, however, is to design and make personalized gifts for loved ones.
Family and History
Evan is muggle-born and an only child, she was raised by her mother in New Zealand. Her father has made no appearances in her life. She attended a typical kiwi primary school, and was enrolled to begin intermediate when her Hogwarts letter arrived. Evan had not really given much thought to magic, growing up, however once she received her letter she believed everything instantly and was ecstatic at the idea of perhaps being able to incorporate magic into her creations, and even better - perhaps never have to thread a needle by hand again.
In school, Evan spent most of her time with her best friend Terry, who was one year younger and who had very strict parents. Evan's own mother left her at home a lot, so Evan developed a bit of a fear of the outside world, but Terry would come visit and keep her company. Evan had a few other friends throughout the years but none as close as Terry, nor did she enjoy anyone elses company quite as much. Evan was disappointed to have to leave Terry behind, but she has her fingers crossed that Terry might be a witch, too, even though she has no idea whether it could be possible or not.
Her mother has one sister who Evan has never met and her mother referred to her as "her estranged sister", however, the evening after Evan's mother found out that Evan was a Witch, Evan saw her mother sit down and begin to write a letter, and over her shoulder she could have sworn she could make out the words "Dear Sister..."
