Professor Kalif Styx sighed as he got everything ready for the Club Fair. He conjured the number of tables and recalled who was who. He gave a small notice for the leaders to get to their tables for an hour prior to the fair itself so that they could decorate the tables themselves or do whatever it was they wanted with it. He preferred simple, but that was different. Kalif didn’t get involved with a lot of the clubs except SDA when he would assist with the duels. Only when he felt like it. He watched as the leaders of the clubs got ready. It wasn’t long until the crowd would grow and grow. Yes, he would need something that way he wouldn’t get a headache. Kalif conjured himself a chair away from the students. He folded his arms across his chest, and watched the chaos begin.

Mhairi had been a little surprised when Norton had approached her to take over the role of running the Wild Patch Club. She’d always loved to be outdoors, tending the plants that would eventually be used either at the hospital, kitchens, or perhaps even for the rose deliveries later in the year. She hoped that after graduation she’d have a garden of her own. Or at least a patch at her parents house in Bulgaria that she could borrow for crops. This year was also an exciting one for the Hufflepuff, who had finally turned seventeen in the holidays. Now she was old enough to be considered for the operation that would give her nerves a chance to connect, allowing her to hear for the first time in her life. For the time being though Mhairi was going to have to rely on lip reading and sign language, something she’d become an expert at. Mhairi had opted out of using much of the table space, instead laying out some things on the floor on top of a bed of rolled up grass. It was almost like a mini garden with various pots and plants lined up in fresh soil. She liked to give a visual display of the things they would do, and it included various roses, and little LGBTQ flags sticking out between the flowers. The banner overhead would hopefully draw students towards her little garden, and she thought it was a beautiful representation of what was on offer. Clipboard in hand, ready to take names for sign ups, Mhairi was eager and excited to see would be interested this year.

Ilija had been more or less lurking around his sister, trying to get to the club fair as early as possible. Once the room began to fill up, he thought that he’d probably disappear back to the common room so the earlier he arrived, the less people he’d had to bump into. He tried not to think about the fact it was his sisters last year at the school and after that, he’d be in his own again. At least now he seemed to have gained a few friends. After putting his name down on the WPC list, he was nervously waiting to see who else would be at the event, and considering what other clubs he wanted to join this year. He wasn’t sure he could handle another trivia night at the brotherhood. It had been a lot of pressure to talk in front of everyone, even though being part of the group had been fun.

Leda had been over the moon when Joshua had asked her to help out with the school newspaper. Even though she’d only joined a few years ago, the Slytherin had been working very hard on her articles, and took pride in the power and reputation that they held. She was more than willing to help any upcoming writer with their own work too, in all aspects of facts and fiction. She’d always enjoyed telling stories, but now her stories had a purpose too. Leda had been helping Josh set up the table, and was just about finished spreading out a number of the previous articles out across the space they had to advertise for more members of the Hogwarts Monthly. Leda herself was sat behind the table, ready to answer any questions that approaching students might have. She had one other club she wanted to visit herself too, and was glad when she’d heard who was taking over the SDA from Alistair. Leda was curious to see how the club leaders would get on over there and was keen to compete again even if she had yet to become a champion yet. As a few students began to enter the room, the red head sat up straight in her chair, hoping to get some new creative talent added to the group, as well as see the returning members that had all worked hard to pull the issues together every semester.

Emilia felt a little more comfortable now in her role as club leader, but it still felt a little strange to stand here and promote Heta Omega. This year, she was here before Athena, and set up the stall for them both. She put out a box with bracelets again for new members, putting up a banner with the club name on it. She had made sure to look nice today, as she knew she had to represent the club well. She put on her brightest smile, hoping that any girls who hadn't joined the club yet would be tempted to. She wondered if her cousin would come to help, but kind of hoped she wouldn't. Emilia was not entirely happy with her at the moment, and a part of her wished she hadn't given her a position in the club. But she knew that wasn't an entirely fair. She just hoped she could avoid her a little longer, even at this event.

Christina knew which club she had to join. She felt a bit of pressure to join it since her whole family was a part of the group or had been. And Chrissy just wanted to fit in. So she headed over to the Great hall and was glad to be a bit early. The brunette than searched for the heta omega stand. And later on spotted a blonde familliar face. Chrissy was glad to see her cousin running the club. So she smiled as she noticed her. “ Hi Emilia. I would like to join Heta Omega. “ Chrissy than said friendly. She looked at the stuff on the stand and smiled. She was wondering how Emilia runned the club. “ How are you? Cool you run this club. “ Chrissy than continued.

Abian had liked being the vice president of the Brotherhood last year, but somehow hadn't really imagined actually leading the club. But now Kauri was gone, and Abian had to do it on his own. He really wished he had paid more attention to how Kauri had done things, as he always made everything seem very put together. Abian had actually forgotten about the club fair until he saw it advertised, and hadn't immediately put together that he would have to be there to represent the brotherhood either. But here he was, with a table set up. He hadn't really thought to buy anything fancy to give away, and he didn't have that much money anyway. All he could offer new brotherhood members was a piece of bubblegum, he figured he had enough. He had at least put them in a bowl and placed on the table. He had put up a few balloons and a sign he had made pretty quickly. His skateboard was leaning against the table too, as Abian thought that was pretty cool. But the sign kept falling down, and he was a little embarrassed as he put it up again for the third time before any boys had even approached his table. He really wasn't sure what he was doing.

Emilia was a little surprised when Christina approached the Heta Omega booth, but pleased as well. While she was a little upset with Athena, she wasn't upset with her sister. It was a little strange to have a younger family member at Hogwarts, but fun too. Emilia hoped she could do well for her cousin and be a guide of sorts. "Hi Chrissy, you're welcome to join!" She said. "Do you want a bracelet? I run it together with another student, but yes... it's a lot of fun." She said with a smile.

Willow had been so excited to hear that Alistair had asked her to run SDA as co leader today was the club fair and she made her way down to the great hall she looked around for Analie but couldn’t see har so she found their table and started to unpack. Firstly a piece of paper for the sign ups, then a few pictures from last years events, the dueling tournament and the tree planting. She smiled at the picture of her hair falling out that had been a good duel and her good luck charm for the rest of them and quidditch. Once she was done she waited for analei to arrive with the sign our students to ask to sign up.

Thorgan was pretty happy with the result of the sorting and was now looking forward to seeing what the school had to offer. With that in mind the new Gryffindor made his way into the great hall where the club fair was being held. He had heard about a few clubs but his siblings weren't heavily involved in any of them, or at least they never talked about them. One club that did catch his eye was the brotherhood, it seemed to be up his alley so he made his way over to the people at the booth. "Hey, I'm interested in joining the brotherhood,"

@Abian Hunter

Abian was a little startled when a first year actually approached. He nodded and quickly grabbed a piece of parchment. "Oh, hey." He said quickly. "Yeah, sure. You can write your name down here." Abian said. "Do you want some bubblegum?" He added, pushing the bowl forward too. He belatedly gave the boy a quill as well, as it would be kind of hard for him to write his name down without it.

@Thorgan Snyder

Aisa wasn't here for anything Accio related, though she might check out if Vader needed anything later. For now, she was on her way to sign up for the Student Defence Alliance. To her surprise, Aisa had really enjoyed dueling last year. She passed her brother as she headed over to the table, but didn't pay him much mind. She glanced at the pictures and then at the girl behind the table, a prefect she vaguely recognized from Gryffindor. She was on the team too, Aisa thought. "Can I sign up?"

@Willow Cullen

Thorgan took the quill from the boy and wrote his name down on the sign up form. It seemed a little too easy, didn't the boy want to ask him any questions? See if he would fit in the club, apparently not. "I'll pass on the gum, thanks though,"

Analei arrived at the Great Hall, excited that she would be co-leading the SDA. She didn't know Willow that well, just that she was just as competitive as her, and they seemed fairly evenly matched at duels. Analei smiled when she saw Willow, and the Gryffindor girl had already set everything up. Analei felt a little bad that she hadn't been there to help set up, but she wasn't that late. She joined Willow behind the desk, greeting her, as a younger girl approached their desk. She seemed to be speaking directly to Willow, but Analei smiled at her anyway, and looked to Willow to let her help the girl.

Willow was surprised and glad that someone had come up to the table almost as soon as she had finished putting pictures out. she reorganised the girl from the common room. "Of course you can sign up just put your name on that piece of paper." she said. "Did you take part in the duelling tournament last year?" she asked. she vaguely recognised the girl from one of the duels she had seen part of but she hadn't really been paying that close attention and she mad have mixed her up with someone else.
It was then that she saw analei arrive and smiled. "Hey analei. how's it going? did you bring the banner" she asked she was really glad that she had been picked as one of the leaders of SDA but she was sort of glad to have the Hufflepuff running it with her. she would have been able to do it on her own but it would be good getting to know the girl. they were similar enough in what they did outside of classes and most of her friends who weren't in her own house were in Hufflepuff. actually most of her friends were in hufflepiff.

@Aisa Hunter @Analei Louw

linden entered the great hall. He had heard about a club fair that was happening today and while he wasn't as social as willow who had over the holiday been excited about co-running SDA he did want to see what was on offer. maybe something else would be good for him. he walked into the hall and saw there were already quite a few students there. he saw willow was talking to a girl so passed her and found another table. there was a boy he thought might also be a first year, or maybe a second year, he certainly didn't seem as old as the others. he approached the table and saw the pictures, it seemed to be a boys-only club. or if there were girls he couldn't see them. he picked up the sign that had fallen over and read the name, the brotherhood of magic"[/b] he muttered. "what does the brotherhood do?" he asked. it looked like something he would enjoy being part of. the only club he had been part of back in wagga was a soccer team but he wasn't particularly as sporty as the resto f his family, he had played goalie. but he had enjoyed the comradery that came with being part of a team.
@Abian Hunter @Thorgan Snyder

Majora heard about some sort of club event happening in the Great Hall, and hoped there would be one that had a lot of puzzles and things to keep his mind occupied. He had told Leia that he wanted to check it out and hoped that he’d be able to see her at the fair too at some point. The Slytherin had his hands in the pockets of his baggy jeans as he was walking through, each stand seemed to have something different, although none of it seemed that exciting. “What do you do?” He asked one of the older blonde girls, eyeing her up suspiciously as she seemed to have lots of pictures of people fighting on her table.

The last thing Kalif wanted was to be disturbed. A first year. Didn’t know anything about things like this. He gestured toward the tables. “You need to sign up with the club leaders themselves. I’m supervising.” Kalif looked over at the students, not seeing any of the Zhefarovich descendants there as of yet.
@Henry Addams

Henry looked to the proffessor and listened what he says to him. "Thanky so much, proffessor!" Henry smiled to him and find paper and write the name. He hoped, he would be join there.

Malachi had heard that there were all sorts of school clubs at Hogwarts, and he was keen to integrate himself in as many as he could. At his old school he had always been picked last for everything, ostracised from the playground gangs and picked on for being too quiet. This was a fresh start for him - a chance to prove that he was more than just the shy boy in the corner of the room. He wandered over to the first stall that caught his eye. Actually, it wasn't so much a stall as a blanket of grass with some flowerpots on it. "Annyeong haseyo," he said politely. "What's-" he looked up at the banner- "the Wild Patch club?"

When one of the small boys came up to the seventh year, Mhairi greeted him with a smile, but was instantly confused as the lips she was reading didn't match her own vocabulary. She panicked for a brief moment, but before she could focus on it too heavily, she recognised the words once more. With her wand in her free hand, she wrote out in the air, the letters appearing clearly to the young boy, "The WPC is responsible for tending the gardens," she couldn't wait until she could explore other options of communication that didn't involve her wand, "We provide the roses for Valentines, and we hold a LGBTQ community event towards the end of the year," she explained, "I hope everyone in the WPC can find peace while at school, and maybe learn a few things along the way," she smiled. She did hope to incorporate sign language into the club this year too, and didn't see how it couldn't be an added beneficial skill to have. "Do you want to try it?" she asked, offering the clipboard.

Evan wandered up and down the hall to get good look at everything, briefly considering signing up for The Wild Patch Club, but deciding not to simply because she didn't think she would enjoy being outdoors all the time. She definitely wasn't interested in the SDA, and felt she wouldn't have anything to contribute to Hogwarts Monthly. Feeling once again like she was going to struggle to fit in anywhere, Evan was almost ready to give up on the idea of joining any clubs.

On her way out of the hall however, she noticed a set-up she must have overlooked when she first came in. Heta Omega.. A sisterhood? Evan thought that sounded like somewhere she could feel quite comfortable.

She approached the Heta Omega display with a timid smile, where an older student was tending to the table.

"This looks lovely!" She wanted to make a good impression, if she was going to fit in among an assortment of year groups from all houses. "What kinds of things happen in Heta Omega?" Evan asked.

@Emilia Manning

Malachi watched with a mixture of confusion, intrigue, and awe as the girl in front of him began to write in the air. It seemed like a very inefficient way to talk, albeit quite impressive. His mind travelled rapidly from one possible explanation to another, until finally he concluded that the WPC must be a silent club. His suspicions were confirmed when the girl wrote something about finding peace. Well, it was going to be difficult to make friends if he wasn't allowed to talk to anybody, but he wasn't going to knock it until he'd tried it. Maybe it would turn out to be fun. Certainly he liked the idea of quiet gardening. Nodding yes, he took the clipboard and signed his name in careful cursive lettering before handing it back. He bowed slightly to show his thanks before wandering off to explore the other stalls.
