Ending the Year!
Where has all the time flown to!
The end of the year is upon us again, given this there are a lot of things that will happen, so I will run through what is to happen in the next few days.
Graduation
To those seventh years, their guests, professors and prefects should remember post in the graduation ceremony found here before the time runs out. This is a very important ceremony for the graduating class, so if you intend to post and haven't yet, now is the time to do so. You can start topics in the area, but do so as soon as you can to ensure that you manage to complete the topic before the time runs out. For the graduating students their main topic here, and for the guests you can find it here.
Group Promotions
Early tomorrow, all the students will be promoted to their new grade/year levels. Those seventh years in the graduating class will be placed into the graduates group to allow you the time to finish off any remaining topics before the beginning of the next "year". Graduates will eventually be moved automatically to the magical group, but you can request to be moved to another group by submitting an application here. Of course all other applications are closed due to this time of year and won't be opened until sorting has finished. This means that graduates looking to apply for certain careers will have to wait until after sorting before they can do so.
End of Year Feast
Winning the house cup with an impressive amount of points this year, is Ravenclaw!
A huge congratulations to those within the winning house, and a warm round of applause to Hufflepuff who nearly managed to take the cup from Ravenclaw's hands. I also think we should take a moment to just take in how many points were gained during this IC year, in total it's just shy of 37,000.
If you want your characters to revel in their victory or mourn their losses, head on over to the End of Year Feast! Where you can also see who were the top points earners for your house, and who was the biggest points earner in Y30. It might just be you or it might be your character's enemy or friend!
Holiday Forums
The holiday forums will be opened shortly! RP to your hearts content until they close once more! And remember to buy your school supplies during this period, if not you might not get into those important classes.
SORTING
And the bit you've all been waiting for, SORTING!
! Sorting will be opening very soon! Be on the look out for Cyndi's post which will let you know when you can get started on all your sorting desires! Until this time, you can head over to the sorting reaction topic to give some predictions about where you might end up or to talk about your excitement.
