Duelling Match #22

[Abbigale Raven]

Abby leads the two contests up to the stage and appoints them into the North or South side. She reveals to them the rules and point system before walking off the stage and standing by to watch. She instructs the duel to begin and waits.

All right, make sure that you use the spell list for guidance. No board rule breaking is acceptable. Have fun! I have a copy of the code that you should use with every post. Remember, when you are knocked out, unable to shoot anymore spells, you lost. And if you run out of points, you lose.
The duel begins now. If someone doesn't post after 24 hours, they are disqualified.

Lucien Snow could not believe that he was no longer being supervised by Professor Styx. It seemed as though Professor Styx took on the older students. He needed help with this, really? He took his spot on the north side of the arena, before bowing to his open with a grimace. She was a Gryffindor, and he was about to make her pay for something that wasn't even her fault. Whatever, he wanted to win and be the best in his year. He quickly rose up and intoned, "Stupefy!"

Victoire was nervous about this. She hadn't thought herself very good, but maybe she'd be able to prove herself. But now she standing in front of a boy who looked very much like Jean but wasn't. She watched as he cast a spell, "Protego" she said with all the confidence that she could! then fired back "Rictusempra"

The last thing that Lucien expected was the Gryffindor to really fight back. She shot a spell, and it hit dead on. Lucien started to laugh, and laugh, and what do you know, laugh some more. He eventually managed to say, "Finite!" before he sneered. That was humiliating! "Grr, Petrificus Totalus!" Lucien hoped that this one would hit, and he would win.
