Perseas frowned as he tried to catch his breath. His opponent was doing a hell of a good job blocking his spells. She had earned his respect as a formidable opponent. However, Perseas was only going to leave that dueling arena knocked out. Any other case scenario was out of the question. Knowing that the girl was as exhausted as he was, he decided to lock her at her defensive mode until he was going crack it. "Petrificus Totalus!" he persisted.

Dominique gripped her wand tightly and aimed once again at the spell coming her way. She was planning to just annihilate it and finish this. They could not continue forever. "Reducto!"

Perseas used a shield charm as well to deflect the curse back to her, the same way she did. His lungs was burning as he was desperately inhaling for fresh air. Beads of sweat had formed on his forehead and all he wanted was to sit down and give up to exhaustion. He clenched his wand stubbornly in his good hand and forced himself to keep his focus.
