Dominique smiled at her opponent as he lost quite a lot of ground. "Don't worry, Darl. I'll have visited you." Of course, it was not her intention to cause him to slip into a coma, but this was a duel, not playschool. He was now on the losing ground part of duelling, and that was certainly an advantage for her. More powerful hits like that, and he could find himself out of the ring very quickly. "Stupefy!"

His opponent wanted to put an end on this but Perseas wasn't done fighting yet. "Protego." he casted once more and blocked her spell. "Don't be in such a hurry. Let's play a little longer." he said playfully, quirking his eyebrow. "Petrificus Totallus!"

"Hurry? Who's rushing here? A win is worked for, my Dear." And this was why she loved duelling. The banter. The games. It was truly something she was glad that Hogwarts New Zealand had, she would never have been happy with removing duelling from her life. She threw up her shield verbally to deflect his spell, and it went back to its caster.

"Don't be so snooty." he said while on guard. "This curse was meant for you. Protego!" a thrust of his wand when the transparent shield streamed out of the tip and the curse bounced off it. The jet of light was hurled back to her and Perseas was ready in case she was going to deflect it back to him again.

She poitned her wand at the spell once more. "Reducto!" And caused the spell to rocket back to him.

Perseas had expected that this was going to prove who was better at deflecting the curse. His opponent casted the Reductor Curse and the jet of light rocketing back to him must have been a cocktail of both her curse and his Body-Binding Curse he had used earlier. No one would fancy to be hit by something like it. Just when the jet of light was inches away from his wand's tip, he casted a Banishing Charm to propel the nasty mix of curses back to her with extra speed.

Dominique, upon seeing the spell coming her way, threw up another shield. "Protego!" The spell shot away towards her opponent once more, while she slid back a little.

The jet of light spiraled back to his direction and it was getting brighter and wider. "Protego!" he insisted and deflected it back to her.

She had expected this. She aimed her wand again, planning to increase the power in an attempt to overwhelm him. "Reducto!"

Perseas decided to copy his opponent's technique and extended his wand. "Reducto!" he shouted and the flash of light darting out of his wand's tip, drifted the blast of spells with even more power back to her. Someone wasn't going to last this exchange of curses and Perseas was already feeling the pressure.

She refused to buckle under the pressure he was trying to place upon her. It had by no means been a simple or easy match, but losing just was not something she planned to have happen. She banished the spell back to him, and gripped her wand tighter in determination.

Perseas couldn't even imagine what would happen to the one who was going to be hit by this blast of energy. He wasn't even sure if he would be able to send it back to her but he had no other option at this point. He flourished his wand and the light blue force field streamed out of it in the form of a solid dome. He thrust it and the curses bounced away back to his opponent but he almost fell down on the floor as he slid from the impact.

Her opponent out up a shield, as before it got too close to her, to aimed her wand just as it bounced off him to save herself from a powerful blowback. "Reducto!"

Perseas clenched his teeth and casted another Banishing Charm at the ominous jet of light. It absorbed greedily the power of his spell before reversing its course back to the girl with even greater momentum. They had been feeding this surge of energy for far too long. An explosion was an inevitable conclusion.

Dominique pointed her wand at the spell flying towards her and cast a quick "Protego".

Perseas didn't wait to see if she was going to deflect back at him the curses. He shot another Stunning Spell for the red jet of light to catch her unprepared.

"Protego!" she said, casting her spell and throwing the spell upwards to the roof.

Maybe his opponent was existed because Perseas' stunning spell never returned back to him. Instead, the red jet of light was redirected towards roof. Perseas didn't let this opportunity to slip away either. "Petrificus Totalus!" he pointed his wand at the girl and pressured her before she was able to counter back. Stunning spells were effective but coming in the form of a red jet of light had also the disadvantage of being easy to be blocked. The Body-Binding Curse however, was less vibrant in colors and more difficult to see.

If he thought she was incapable of using her eyes, he was wrong. She had plenty of room to move on the platform and was not done yet. She deflected the spell back to him this time with a quiet Protego, seeking to catch him by surprise by suddenly switching tactics.

After such a long time deflecting spells back and forth, Perseas had mastered the technique. Suddenly, the Shield Charm had turned into a really interesting spell. He waved a circle with his wand while whispering under his breath the incantation and the light blue force field expanded out of the wand's tip. The spell bounced back to his opponent.

Dom was still her cool self as the spell was yet again flung back at her. It was honestly getting annoying though and so she decided to rectify the problem. "Reducto!" Her spell hit the one they had been flinging between them and they both fizzled out. Maybe now he'd get some damn perspective.

The warmed up air from the spells and the smoke fuming in the arena was enough that he had built up a sheen of sweat. But Perseas persisted, his grey eyes narrowed and another Stunning Spell propelled out of his wand and slashed through the smoke and the sparks of the fizzled out spells.

Dominique saw the spell coming, and with a swish of her wand, put up another Protego that propelled the spell to the ceiling and away from her.

Perseas didn't hesitate to cast another spell back to back. With a flick of his wand, another jet of bright, red light darted towards his opponent.

Dominique was getting a little tired, as was natural. Her opponent also looked tired. She was enjoying herself, happy to have found a match. That did not mean she planned on weakening her stance and aimed at the spell coming her way. "Reducto!"
