The decision to leave Hogwarts had come with a heavy heart, but, the young adult had realised that she needed to be closer to home in this great time. Her brother's recent engagement meant a wedding within the year, something which young Charlotte needed to be close for. She was after all the prize daughter of the Lord. She had invitations to parties by the bag full. After all, she'd grown out of her young girl physique and had in the past year become as her mother liked to say, the vision of what people aspired to be. However, Charlotte was not satisfied, she looked in the mirror most mornings and saw nothing but spots, lines and dark marks. She didn't see what others saw. She in her heart put on make up so that she could be pretty. She didn't ever think that she was naturally beautiful. However much growing up the girl had done, what had to be said was that she was still small. Small and slim, standing at only 5ft 5. With her legs being the longest part of her. Long, slender. With the amount of work she did to keep in shape that much was to be hoped for. Leaving Hogwarts however had been hard. She had loved that school, it was the first one she'd been at, so it held a very important place in her heart. Now at Beauxbatons she was repeating the year. It made sense, she could do her owls and her newts. The two of them. With just a little money donation done to the school it had been easy to get their way. The only problem being, by the time this had all been decided and arranged it was two weeks into the term, and poor Charlotte had no place to sleep yet. Which was why, midday on the Saturday, two weeks after school had started Charlotte was making her way to the Dorm rooms. She had had a room before, but she had given it to someone else when she'd considered leaving in the first place. Charlotte was all right with no where to sleep yet. It was exciting. She didn't get much excitement in Beauxbatons. Unlike Hogwarts, with her parents so close she had to the best version of herself. She was there almost acting as the ambassador for the British Royal family, and with that carried more burdens than the sixteen year old cared for. It was her duty, there was no getting away from that. She had to be Charlotte Williams here at this very school. She couldn't just be Charlotte. As she had at the last school. Which annoyed her. This was the coming towards the end of everything that she loved, she would leave school and that would be it for her. Beauxbatons Academy would be the trial run for her future life.
The girl was as ever dressed in the most perfect clothes she could find. A dress, with a cream and black fitted bodice. Bought by her in New Zealand and fitted to fit her perfectly by the family tailor. She loved the dress and she had believed it had fitted her before, now, she had to admit to herself, that while it pulled in her waist, making it very small, and made her legs look longer as the skirt traveled to just above her knees, she found it slightly more difficult to breath. It kept her back straight, but bending down was close to impossible, and quick movement made her almost woozy. The heels matched with the dress were her favourites, stunningly high, lace shoes that gave her the height she needed. Her bags were being brought up once she'd found a spare room, so she didn't even have a school bag yet. She wondered from dorm to dorm, excusing herself as she found no empty bed in one after the other. She greeted many old friends, kissing them on both cheek as was the french way of greeting. Finally, she found a last dorm, the one she had always kind of wanted because of it's size. She knocked on the door, and waited. Waited until she heard someone say come in. She took a step back and then took a deep breath. If this didn't work, her parents would just get her a place close to the school, where she could commute to and from. It wouldn't bother her, but she would be lacking the company. She twisted the handle and stepped inside. "Hi, I was hoping you'd have room for one more here?" She asked in her usual light French, as polite as her english, though it sang more than the English did. She was never, looking forward to a new year, lots of people to get back in touch with, all she needed was somewhere to sleep.
