The decision to leave Hogwarts had come with a heavy heart, but, the young adult had realised that she needed to be closer to home in this great time. Her brother's recent engagement meant a wedding within the year, something which young Charlotte needed to be close for. She was after all the prize daughter of the Lord. She had invitations to parties by the bag full. After all, she'd grown out of her young girl physique and had in the past year become as her mother liked to say, the vision of what people aspired to be. However, Charlotte was not satisfied, she looked in the mirror most mornings and saw nothing but spots, lines and dark marks. She didn't see what others saw. She in her heart put on make up so that she could be pretty. She didn't ever think that she was naturally beautiful. However much growing up the girl had done, what had to be said was that she was still small. Small and slim, standing at only 5ft 5. With her legs being the longest part of her. Long, slender. With the amount of work she did to keep in shape that much was to be hoped for. Leaving Hogwarts however had been hard. She had loved that school, it was the first one she'd been at, so it held a very important place in her heart. Now at Beauxbatons she was repeating the year. It made sense, she could do her owls and her newts. The two of them. With just a little money donation done to the school it had been easy to get their way. The only problem being, by the time this had all been decided and arranged it was two weeks into the term, and poor Charlotte had no place to sleep yet. Which was why, midday on the Saturday, two weeks after school had started Charlotte was making her way to the Dorm rooms. She had had a room before, but she had given it to someone else when she'd considered leaving in the first place. Charlotte was all right with no where to sleep yet. It was exciting. She didn't get much excitement in Beauxbatons. Unlike Hogwarts, with her parents so close she had to the best version of herself. She was there almost acting as the ambassador for the British Royal family, and with that carried more burdens than the sixteen year old cared for. It was her duty, there was no getting away from that. She had to be Charlotte Williams here at this very school. She couldn't just be Charlotte. As she had at the last school. Which annoyed her. This was the coming towards the end of everything that she loved, she would leave school and that would be it for her. Beauxbatons Academy would be the trial run for her future life.

The girl was as ever dressed in the most perfect clothes she could find. A dress, with a cream and black fitted bodice. Bought by her in New Zealand and fitted to fit her perfectly by the family tailor. She loved the dress and she had believed it had fitted her before, now, she had to admit to herself, that while it pulled in her waist, making it very small, and made her legs look longer as the skirt traveled to just above her knees, she found it slightly more difficult to breath. It kept her back straight, but bending down was close to impossible, and quick movement made her almost woozy. The heels matched with the dress were her favourites, stunningly high, lace shoes that gave her the height she needed. Her bags were being brought up once she'd found a spare room, so she didn't even have a school bag yet. She wondered from dorm to dorm, excusing herself as she found no empty bed in one after the other. She greeted many old friends, kissing them on both cheek as was the french way of greeting. Finally, she found a last dorm, the one she had always kind of wanted because of it's size. She knocked on the door, and waited. Waited until she heard someone say come in. She took a step back and then took a deep breath. If this didn't work, her parents would just get her a place close to the school, where she could commute to and from. It wouldn't bother her, but she would be lacking the company. She twisted the handle and stepped inside. "Hi, I was hoping you'd have room for one more here?" She asked in her usual light French, as polite as her english, though it sang more than the English did. She was never, looking forward to a new year, lots of people to get back in touch with, all she needed was somewhere to sleep.

Meera sat on her bed on a Saturday afternoon trying to decide what to wear. It was a tough choice between a long purple dress which had long sleeves too and would hug her body and show her curves and her slim body or a knee length cream colored elegant dress. Meera normally would have gone with the cream elegant dress but this year she was trying to be different. She had kept her guard up for the past four years at this school and it had not done so well for her. She was famous, yes but she had only one best friend who had recently moved to Brazil without any explanations. Luckily Meera had found Alice Hills who was proving to be very friendly and nice and also a great roommate. Friends were not the only thing Meera was lacking at this school. At times she felt the need to have someone she could attend a dance with, a fling or anything. Nearly all the boys her age and even the seniors had asked her out at least once but they just didn't seem right for her. She sometimes enjoyed the eyes but most of the times it got way out of limits and all boys who had approached her so far seemed to be the same 'drooling around her' category. She hated that types. She wanted someone who was smart and would treat her like an equal. Meera continued going over the debate on which dress she should pick. She wished Alice would come back fast. She had mentioned the library after lunch and had left soon after that. Meera was smart but she knew Alice being her Ravenclaw self was soon going to bring good competition. It was only a matter of time for Alice's French to be at the peak.

A sudden knock on the door of room, made her spring out of her chain of thoughts. She wondered who it would be as Alice wouldn't have knocked. "Come in" she said in her sweet voice which suited French perfectly. Looking at the girl who entered the room, Meera smiled a little after hearing her question. The girl looked familiar but Meera couldn't remember just yet where they had met. Not wanting to keep the girl waiting, Meera replied "Yes, we have an extra bed". Meera was not expecting another roommate this soon but the number of transfers were just rising each year and for this reason she was not surprised. The girl was definitely new to the school. The first look of the girl had told Meera that her fashion sense was excellent and this was a bright side. "I'm Meera Gupta"she said introducing herself as she walked forward and kissed the girl on both cheeks. Meera took the girl's arrival to be a sign that she needed more friends and this was going to give her another good opportunity at a new close friend. Not so fast though, her guarded self reminded her. She had to make sure the girl was trustworthy and loyal before Meera became too friendly. She did not like the fact that the school had not notified her beforehand about giving her a roommate but she would just deal with it and maybe it would even be nice. "I hope you don't mind the color scheme and design""she said trying to make small talk. The room was light pink unlike the other rooms which were bright shades of pink and purple. That was just too girly, almost childish. One of the things she loved about Beauxbatons was the liberty on designing your own room. She and her former roommate had shared views on what their room would be like and that had led to the beginning of their friendship. "Do you need any help with the luggage?"Meera asked noticing that the girl was not carrying any bags. If Meera was moving in, she wouldn't be carrying her own luggage either but she could not expect everyone to be a royal princess like herself.Alice had certainly needed help when she moved from Ava's room to this one and it was polite to offer.

OOCOut of Character:
Imagine the room with three beds

The room, was simply stunning. That was how she remembered it. It had the most elegant feel to it. Much different from the Hufflepuff dorm rooms. A good difference the girl found. She liked these. It had been silly to have moved to Hogwarts for a year. She hadn't exactly gotten much out of it. Here she'd get a lot more out of it. That and it was easier for her to be herself around the same sort of elegance of Beauxbatons, rather than with Hogwarts. In Hogwarts, she had always felt fairly dressed up compared to others. They all wore jeans, and Charlotte had been left in her dresses and heels feeling a little left out. Here at least, with the girl in front of her, she realised that she'd not be alone in a slightly fancier style. She had always loved fashion. The young beaux girl knew that if she wasn't going to be married off, and just be a wife, she would've worked in the fashion industry. If it had been modelling, or something similar. Somewhere where she could work be around the lastest fashions. It was what she loved. It was evident in everything that she wore, and picked. She lacked confidence most of the time for herself. She wore the clothes that fitted her perfectly, but her mother always managed to convince her that she wasn't small enough. That the dress, skirt, or shirt needed to be fitted more. Charlotte despite her shape and heritage was so insecure about herself, most of the time with the most perfect of clothes or make up, she didn't believe she was pretty. She had no problem telling others they were, but she never really thought she was. Charlotte who was a petite girl. She had high heels that helped give her more height and more definition. Being brought up in a home where heels were to help with height and give the elusion of smaller everything, she only had two or three pairs of flats. Those were for sports, or for family activities that were outdoors. Charlotte didn't mind though. She had never minded, she just took it all in and enjoyed everything she had. Which included fashion. She would be able to continue her love of fashion at least through her shopping. Which was just about enough for the young blonde. She flashed a smile at the girl who had just greeted her. Charlotte figured that she had been at the school the last time she'd been there. Though previously, she'd been more round faced and her hair hadn't been so long. It was much longer now. She was glad to have finally found a room, where she could sleep. She'd have to let her family, and the school know.

"Oh, thank goodness" She smiled at the girl who had greeted her. From a force of habit, she looked the girl up and down. She was definitely beautiful, that was for sure. The dress she wore was modest and a lovely colour. It suited her well. She looked around the room again. It would be perfect for her. It would be the best, and it was good that there were already people in the room, it meant she had to make friends. She couldn't just ignore everyone and be fairly alone. The girl who was in the room greeted her, introduced herself. Now, she remember why it was more familiar, they'd met before. Well, there families, briefly. Out of respect, Charlotte knew better than to say anything about it. Knew better than to say anything that could get someone or herself in trouble. Instead she stayed silent as they did the usual french greeting. Charlotte briefly placing a hand on Meera's upper arm as she responded to the French greeting. It was a sign of friendship. "Miss Meera, a pleasure. I'm Charlotte Williams." She smiled at the girl. "It's a pleasure" Charlotte stepped a little more into the room and spun around on the spot, leaning on her heels as she did so. The room would suit her fine. Though she noticed there were three beds, so, either the girl already lived with someone else, or no one else. Hopefully the other girl would be nice. Charlotte wasn't good at dealing with people who weren't that nice. "Oh no, it's lovely! I love what you've done with the place, Miss. Meera" Charlotte wandered over to the window and looked over, perfect! The view was incredibly. "My transfer papers were late, so I was late to starting, this is the only room left with space." The girl turned back to face her new roommate. She shook her head. "No, someone is bringing it." She wouldn't have asked the girl to give her a hand either. "These heels are not made to have luggage pulled behind them" The girl gave a light giggle as she stepped away from the window and motioned to her feet. "Which one will be mine?" Charlotte pointed to the beds, they were all so neatly made she had no idea which one was the free one. "And I'm assuming another girl lives here?" While the girl's french was fluent and barely held an accent, every so often she did sound British. She couldn't help it, since she was just that. However, she was happy with everything. It was a lovely room. The girl seemed nice. These next two year maybe wouldn't be so bad.

Meera watched the girl, who was showing many habits similar to her. Her dressing was one thing but her fluent French and not being surprised at the French way of greeting certainly made her seem to belong here at one time. Meera was curious to know all about her new roommate but first things came first. She heard the girl introduce herself and Meera instantly recalled the name. "Pleasure's all mine and please call me Meera" said the Indian princess with one of her best smiles. She recalled Charlotte from sometime back when she had been studying at Beauxbatons and her families had even met once at a high profile family gathering for wizarding families once. "You're Lord Williams's daughter!" Meera stated her brain finally being back in full action. Charlotte looked a little more grown up and of course, more beautiful than she had last been. Meera's family had been in the party due to her mother who was the magical one in their family.Despite her father being the future King he was of muggle heritage. He did enjoy accompanying them to all wizarding events and was always surprised by the power of magic. She remembered that Charlotte's family had been very nice and friendly when she had met them at the party. "I'm glad you like it" Meera said with a smile. This was quite a turn of events. She had not expected to be roommates with someone who was a royalty but Meera knew that she would pull it off and hide her family's secret but keep all her manners and style in place while rooming with Charlotte. She was in fact a little happy that their room was the only one with space. The girl infront of her was not only from a very nice family, which would mean great etiquette but she had also seemed fun back when she had been in Beauxbatons. Meera had not gotten the chance to know her very well back then but this time she wouldn't miss the opportunity.

"Thanks. It would lovely to have you as our roommate, Miss Charlotte" Meera said as she watched the servants carrying the luggage walk into the room and wait for orders on where it should be placed. Of course she knew now after identifying Charlotte that she wouldn't need any help with the luggage because she was a royal too."Oh yes! I have another roommate" she said wondering how Alice would handle having a new roommate. Alice was sweet and so was Charlotte, although Alice lacked some of the etiquette of Charlotte's level but Alice was polite and friendly and she hoped Charlotte would adjust until then. "You can take that bed" she said pointing to the one far on the right side of the room. It had no belongings around it because her and Alice had managed to keep the room neat at all times and put their possessions in their own cupboards and bedside drawers. She hanged the two dresses that she had been confused between in her wardrobe leaving that decision for later on. Tonight's party was for a few selected students and was being thrown by the head boy's best friend on the occasion of the head boy's birthday. Meera would have rejected the invitation right away because she knew that many senior boys who constantly tried to have their ways with her would be present but she had reconsidered when they had allowed her to bring a guest. Alice needed to see things like this and she had thought this would be the perfect opportunity. Now that Charlotte was here with them, Meera wondered if she would like to come along too. Of course Meera knew that Charlotte might have already received an invitation with her reputation but Meera would still ask her to come as well, just in case. She knew the host would be perfectly okay to allow her any number of guests she wanted to bring as long as he got to have her at the party and this time she was going to use it to her advantage. Leaving the thoughts about the party aside for a minute she said to Charlotte, curious about what adventures the girl had whilst she was absent from school "Its good to have you back at Beauxbatons. There were some nasty rumors on why you left. I didn't believe them of course." Some girls had always wanted to have the place that Charlotte had once had in this school and they had been happy to be in spotlight for the past year or so. She knew that the same girls were behind the rumors that had many disgusting versions. "Now that you're back, you can clear them all up" Meera continued hinting Charlotte on what she might face if she attended the party tonight.

While the offer was there to call her Meera, Charlotte had the up bringing where she just didn't. She just smiled at it, agreeing with the girl. It was nice to meet someone who even to her looked like she was from a similar background to her. It was a rarity, mostly because there were few royals who were also of magical blood. Charlotte's blood line came from her mother, who hadn't been a royal, but had been very high society. It was nice to be both. While some would claim just being in muggle and wizarding was great. Charlotte truly believed that her life was the best of the two worlds. Despite the numeros times she had to move school, or miss it because of her family and what that meant. Suddenly the other seemed to know who she was. She looked at the girl, and racked her brain. She seemed a lot different from when they'd last met. Older, taller, prettier She curtseyed at her. "I am" Charlotte gave a small smile. "And you, Miss Meera, it's been an age since then. You do look incredible." She flashed her usual friendly smile at her, recalling that party. It had been good fun, though at the time she'd been young at the time. Young and had hated it. But, in hindsight she'd had a lot of fun. Her cousins had been at it, they'd done some kid like things. She couldn't remember if Meera had taken part in any of those things. It seemed funny to the blonde that she would end up being with probably the only other girl in the school who she had history with. History which occurred outside of the school. She circled the room and went into the bathroom, again, so much more modern and beautiful than the ones that she found at Hogwarts. The school was amazing, it was free, but it was old fashioned. Which had been so very annoying. She wandered back into the room, as the girl spoke again, she nodded in agreement, just as Charlotte's oldest friend at the school, brought in her luggage. She pointed to the bed that Meera had directed her to, and watched as he very carefully put it there. Charlotte went over and thanked him, giving him a small kiss on the cheek before saying she'd see him later. Charlotte looked over at the other bed for the second roommate. She seemed tidy and polite, two things that would work out well for her. Since she preferred when people were like that. Rather than being impolite and messy. However, she trusted that Meera would only pick the best sort of people to live with. So while she'd sort of been left with Charlotte, the other person would be perfectly fine.

Charlotte sat down carefully on the bed. Stretching her legs out in front of her, and keep her back, as ever, straight. She ran a hand through the long locks of golden blonde hair, and gave the smallest of sighs. While Beauxbatons was a lot more like what she was used to at home, she really did miss Hogwarts. She missed the people, the way she was so far from home. She had always loved the school, she was just never there that much long than anywhere else. Hogwarts had sort of always been the place for her, she'd just never been able to stay too long. A part of Charlotte wanted to sulk for a while, but she glanced down at the suitcase beside her and knew she couldn't. Getting to her feet, Charlotte fixed her dress, smoothing it down, before going to the mirror and adjusting her hair. She gave a her reflection a confidence kiss and then turned back to face all her belongings. She took out her wand from the front pocket and gave it a small wave. As she did that, all of her belongs seemingly came to life and tidied themselves away in her closet and drawers. As she did so, she heard, Meera speaking again. "It's good to be back" Charlotte gave a smile, but the last part of she said worried her. Nasty rumors? Of what sort? Charlotte knew that she'd spent two years at the school and then left, but rumors were never good. In Hogwarts she'd never had to deal with such a thing. Never. Which was always good. Here, aparently she was not immune. "Rumors, Miss Meera? What were they? Deary me, rumors, oh my mother will not be pleased," Charlotte remembered being popular before, she remembered being close to the now headboy, but it had all been purely friendship. "I had no idea I was worth talking about." Charlotte gave a light giggle, people really had nothing better to do with their time. It was a little sad. She noticed that her spell was finished and everything but a very modest outfit was still in front of her. Well, modest and then the highest heels. "Are you going to the head boy's birthday bash this evening?" Charlotte asked, holding up the dress in front of her and then looking at it in the mirror. She switched her shoes and was surprised when she had even more height than before. "The head boy and I go way back, and he was telling me, that his friend, has eyes only for you Miss Meera. His friend's not so bad looking. Puberty has been kind to him." Charlotte placed the dress back on the bed and looked round at the other girl. Taking a few steps towards her, with the usual friendly smile she always wore. She'd been a Hufflepuff after all. "Your beauty has cast quite a spell over these poor Beaux boys. And well, I can see why. I assume you're going, Miss Meera?"

Meera knew she couldn't mistaken the face of the pretty blonde who was standing across her. Few years back when they had been children and had met each other at a party, Meera had a great time. Her childhood memories were very sharp and all of them had been captured in videos and photographs. Some people she knew did not have very nice time as children but Meera had loved it. She had got it all and had the most loving family in the world, she couldn't have asked for more. She had known since she had first met Charlotte that she had some of the best manners and upbringing so she was not surprised nor took it to her heart when Charlotte continued to refer to her as Miss Meera. Meera might have done the same if she was French or British, like Charlotte. Seeing as a large part of her upbringing was based on Indian values she did not go all the way with some of the French and British ways. It was like she had developed her own personality and character that was a fusion of everything and it had so far worked fine. She had never set foot in India until now so she didn't know if her people in India would be pleased with the 'fusion' but that was for worrying later. "Thank you Charlotte" Meera said returning Charlotte's friendly smile.

Meera watched silently as Charlotte's friend brought in the luggage. The boy looked familiar and curiosity rose within Meera as her new roommate told the boy she would see him later. Meera knew it was rude to ask her questions even if they were simply out of curiosity and sat quietly on her bed watching Charlotte unpack using magic. It always left her in awe. The idea of magic and how wonderful it was. She shrugged, feeling uncomfortable mentioning about the rumors to Charlotte. Someone had to warn her and she'd better hear it from someone in a nice way than be shocked about it later. It had been two years since the rumors and people would surely have forgotten the stories that had been circulated around the school on why Charlotte had to leave. "Some scandal that had put your father's position as a Lord in jeopardy. It continued with your family needing to lay low and your removal from the school" Meera explained the brainless rumor to Charlotte hoping the girl would not get upset on hearing this. Meera grinned watching Charlotte giggle on the idea that she was worth talking about. Many people who were up to date with British royal stories knew that all this was false as her father had continued his position.

Meera felt better as Charlotte brought up the topic of the head boy's birthday party. It was like she had guessed. Charlotte was not back five minutes in the school and she was already in touch with old friends. It seemed like Charlotte's social circle would be welcoming her back and if Meera didn't watch it she might end up being a part of it too. She was not entirely sure if her idea on making more friends involved a whole bunch of typical Beauxbaton students. She watched Charlotte swap her heels with a pair that made her look taller. The dress that the girl seemed to have chosen for tonight was very pretty indeed. "Yes, I did get invited and am allowed a guest. My roommate, Alice, transferred from Hogwarts New Zealand and I thought it would be good for her to meet some people" Meera found herself telling Charlotte her a little more about Alice. She laughed as Charlotte stated the head boy's best friends' very obvious attraction to Meera. She should give Charlotte more credit for being up to date with everything. It seemed like she had never left. "He is handsome, for sure and can be charming but...I'm not so sure" Meera told Alice, slightly confused at how she felt on the whole idea of going out with someone. She had never been on a date before and agreeing to accept the boy's offer to dancing would open gates to much more. She had seen the boy flirting and dating many girls previously and Meera knew that she was only going to be a few month's obsession for the boy before he would move on. "Yes, I am going but I am afraid the Beaux boys might not be in stock for anything more than just a plain dance" she said thoughtfully. Meera did not attend many parties within the school and going to one and not agreeing to dance would be plain boring. "What about you,Charlotte? Do you have a date or are you going solo?"Meera asked curiously. It seemed okay now that the topic of boys had been brought up.

Alice was in the library. Meera had wanted to spend the time getting ready for the party, but Alice had managed to sneak away to get some books. She had begun to branch away from the English section and was now reading in French. The books was all about charms, and household spells that were useful. Alice had always wanted to be a homemaker, and decided that whilst she had the spare time, it was worth the studying. The chapter she was currently on was studying charms for doing the laundry and washing. The library was fairly empty, and so rummaging in her bag, Alice picked out a pair of socks. They had been clean, but Alice had dipped them in ink on her way to the library, so to be able to try out her latest discovery. Placing them carefully on the counter in front of her, she looked around to make sure the librarian wasn't going to make a surprise visit to her corner. Pulling out her wand, she glanced at the book before looking at the socks again. "Scourgify" She muttered, cleaning the ink off the socks. After repeating this several times, she looked at the book again. It showed a complicated wand movement and a non-verbal spell to accompany it. She sighed, it would be quite hard, but it was worth a try. The brunette took a deep breath and began the spell. She had been taught a little of non-verbal spells with some sixth years that she was joining for a lesson where she was ahead of her group. She knew the basics, and with some practise, had been able to master it on simple spells. Her wand began to move as she flicked it, and as she finished commanding the incantation, a strong steam of clean-smelling air was released from her wand. The socks smelt of roses, and of fresh grass - the smells Alice had been trying for, but she realised with a jolt of panic that she had let off too much of the gas. The book gave off a potent smell and Alice saw the few people in the library turn to look. Blushing a deep shade of red, she scraped her socks into her bag and picked up the book. Hurrying quickly to the librarian, she showed her the book and when give the nod of consent, she scurried out. Glancing at her watch on the way, she groaned. She was 10 minutes later than she had told Meera. Hurrying up the staircase, she ignored the looks of the students around her, wondering what the powerful washing smell was.

Alice reached the dormitory and opened the door, full of apologies to offer. But someone else was in the room, someone else was going for the spare bed. Freezing where she was, she turned to Meera but held her long-winded apologies. "Sorry I'm so late." She said, trying to keep her confusion from bubbling over. But this was Meera's room, and Meera could invite other people to stay when she wanted to. Alice smiled at the new girl. "Hi, I'm Alice. Oh, and sorry for the smell." She giggled nervously, consious that the smell of roses and fresh grass had followed her in. Throwing her bag on her bed, she pulled out her wand and tried to wipe a little of the smell off. Alice knew it would linger for a while, and whilst she didn't mind the smell in the slightest - in fact, she greatly liked it - she hoped it wouldn't put the new girl off, or make regret moving in with them. And above all, she hoped no-one was allergic to the smell. She stood in the doorway, unsure what to say or do, other than make her way over to her bed. This she did, before waiting for Meera or the girl to make an introduction.

Well this is awful. Sorry

Rumors did no favours for the young blonde. She had enough problems in her family without more coming from silly rumors at the small school in the French hills. She was however relieved when the rumors were nothing more than just silly things about her family. She knew that they could've been a lot worse. She didn't think it was in her place to say what had really happened it was still fairly secretive. Which she didn't feel like breaking. She just smiled. "Oh, that's okay. I thought it would be a lot worse." She smiled at Meera, happy knowing it was something minor. Her family was fine, everything was fine. Nothing could be better at this point. "And they are false. Such silly rumors." She added as she turned to face her bed. While it had unpacked all of her clothes, there were a few personal items that Charlotte found were better sorted by herself. Rather than with someone else. She put a small family picture on her bedside table. She was holding her now, 6 year old sister on her hip. The young girl had the small golden blonde and the small shade of greenish, brown eyes. If not for the age difference it would be difficult to tell the two apart. Her two brother, stood either side of her, standing tall with smiles upon their faces. It was good. The past few years had been kind to her family. Her brother's fortunes in love. The girl being someone of even high stature than themselves. He'd be marrying up, which was always something to be envied in the circles her family ran in. She looked back round at the other girl, she did get an invite. Charlotte smiled at this, she didn't doubt it, the girl was stunning, and she was the type of girl to be eyed by any guy who liked girls most. Charlotte herself, didn't think she'd ever be at that kind of center of attention. Her mother wouldn't like it, that was for sure. She smiled at the thought. The heels were her mothers choice. While Charlotte tried not to follow what her mother bought her, generally because it always ended up being sore. Like the dress she currently wore. It pulled her waist so much more than she was sure it was meant to. It was just a good thing that Charlotte was slim. That she was small, and so it worked. It made her look slim, and thin. Which was what her mother wanted. The shoes however, as she wore them, she had to admit she'd fallen in love. "Hogwarts New Zealand, I was there, for about three years. Good school." Charlotte smiled and nodded to herself, maybe they would know each other. It would nice to know someone. It would be funny. But, she didn't remember the name, so she doubted it. "That's a wonderful idea, Miss Meera. And there is nothing like a good Beauxbatons party to get started. My first was fairly amazing." She gave a light giggle as she remembered her first.

A lot had happened since then, a lot more parties had happened. And while Charlotte was always good at keep her composure she longed for something truly exciting. Her mind knew what awaited her come the end of her days at the school. She knew what she was going to be living after this. So, she was happy to postpone it. She put a few more personal belongings up beside her bed, and then glanced back round at the girl, she wasn't so sure. "Well, if life has taught me anything Miss Meera, not sure, means don't rush anything. Plus, he'll probably find someone much more in his league before the end of the night." She knew that Meera was very out of the boy's league. The boy was attractive but nothing too stunning, and he wasn't going to get anywhere near Meera if she wasn't that interested. Charlotte was protective of those she counted as friends, and she'd keep him in line. Charlotte smiled as she grabbed the toileteries she had and took them into the bathroom they were sharing. She just placed it down in a small available spot. Tidied away and out the way. She smiled to herself and wandered back in. "A dance they will surely love!" Charlotte giggled slightly, knowing that the boys would be a little disheartened but, it would be more than they probably expected to get. She gave a small grin when asked if she was attending with anyone, walking back over to her mirror and inspecting the shoes further. "Well, it's not a date, but I'm not going alone." Charlotte gave a small smile, not giving away as much as she could. She knew who she was going with. But, she wasn't about to say just yet. She just owed him one, and they were friends. She giggled slightly, before, pulling up a chair and sitting down in front of the mirror. Just as she'd been about to do her make up, well, redo it, another girl walked in the room. Muttering something about being late, and then she noticed Charlotte. Charlotte got to her feet, and could instantly smell the girl. Well, at least she was clean. She closed the distance between them, and like the usual French greeting, she kissed the girl on both cheeks, before taking a few steps back. "Miss Alice, it's a pleasure. I'm Charlotte Williams." The girl introduced herself. She pulled away a few strands of the blonde hair, which had fallen across her face. She gave the girl a warm smile. "My transfer papers were late, so I'm late starting." Charlotte gave a small shrug. She glanced over the girl. She was slightly familiar to her, but not too much. Not in a sense she'd remember. Charlotte doubted the girl would remember her either. However, the girl was pretty, pretty by even Beauxbatons standards of the Veela type beauty that reigned supreme, "Miss Meera, you didn't tell me that your roommate was so pretty, god the boys must hate the combination of the two of you." Charlotte just smiled at Alice before walking slightly away. "Do you ladies know what you're wearing tonight?" Charlotte asked as she sat in front of her mirror, and began to wipe away her make-up, using the magical reusable wipes her mother gave her.

Meera was worried that Charlotte would be upset with the rumors. If it would have been her, she certainly would have not liked people spreading brainless nonsense on her family. After seeing her new roommate smile and say it was okay, Meera finally sighed with relief. She liked her school for all the French etiquette and the liberty which they had but such rumors and all the gossip that went around the school was one of the things Meera hated about the place. It was like Charlotte said, people did not have any better work than to gossip. She was brought back to attention when Charlotte mentioned that she studied at Hogwarts New Zealand for the time when she was absent from Beaux. Meera had been under the impression that the girl had been home schooling and this new fact was certainly a change in the story. Meera wondered if Alice and Charlotte would know each other. It would certainly be very nice if they did know each other. Meera was hoping Alice would enjoy her first party at Beauxbatons. Meera remembered her first one and it had been very enjoyable until someone had spiked her drink. That was not very common for parties at Beauxbatons. They did have wine and such but spiking drinks was just rude and plain mean. She had not realized it at first and had talked more than she should have about her views on the lack of vegetarian dishes in the school's meals. She had just been thirteen and she was embarrassed about that memory but after that day the school was serving a large variety of vegetarian food.

Meera watched Charlotte as she set her items near her bedside table. The picture was cute and Meera was reminded of her family. Unlike other people who had so many friends that they didn't feel the need of family, Meera constantly missed being with her family.Maybe it was because of the secretive way her family lived in constant fear of being discovered. Meera smiled at Charlotte when she became supportive of her decision on not having anything more then a dance with the head boy's friend. Most of the girls would not have understood her so she was glad Charlotte thought otherwise. She smirked when Charlotte said she was going with a boy but it was not a date. Meera was not going to badger Charlotte about any more details, after all they had just officially met again. "That entrance would be drawing many eyes" Meera commented. Charlotte had just got back to school and Meera was sure the guy who she was going with would not be a random one. Meera glanced up at the clock in their bedroom. They still had three hours but if Meera wanted to look glamorous she should be starting now. Plus she even needed to help Alice with a few things. Just as she thought about her close friend and roommate she seemed to appear at the door.

Meera wrinkled her nose and eyed Alice wondering what she had been up to. Library certainly did not have grasses and Alice was smelling like she had been playing with them. It was a nice smell but not something boys would like. "Good you're back" Meera said with a small smile. She hoped Alice was not too startled and was about to make introductions when Charlotte decided to take the lead. Meera sat back and watched her two friends. "Our room was the only one with extra bed and Charlotte's going to be great roommate" she told Alice in French with a smile.Alice was doing better with French so she was sure that keeping the conversation in French would be okay. She laughed as Charlotte commented on how pretty Alice was. "Well, I wanted you to see for yourself" Meera said with a smile as she stood up and walked to her wardrobe once again. Now that they had Charlotte with them boys were certainly going to be delivering a lot of gifts and people would be coming up with requests to their dorm. Meera picked up the two outfits that she head in mind for the evening and watched them once again. The purple one was certainly a lot more stylish. "I thought this would be nice" Meera said showing her roommates the purple dress with glittering black design. It was long and yet had slits going up to her knees. Her black heels would just be perfect for the dress and she was thinking maybe a curly hair look. "What do you think?"she asked hoping that the girls would like it.

Alice giggled nervously at the new girl's use of 'Miss'. "Please, it's just Alice." She smiled, hoping her dorm room wasn't going to become too posh. "But it's a pleasure to meet you Charlotte, I mean, Miss Charlotte? Miss Williams?" She turned to Meera, looking hopelessly at her to find how to speak properly. Wandering towards her bed, she laughed at the compliment of beauty. She didn't believe it, that was just who she was. "Well, with you here now, I will just be the roommate." A smile remained on her face, honoured to be in the company of 2 gorgeous ladies. And ladies they were, their manners impeccable. Alice could see that straight away, no hesitation needed. Well, at least they could both help her improve her etiquette. She turned to Meera, finding the need to apologise for the smell. "I'm sorry, I was trying some household spells out in the library. And well, the socks are clean, but I think I overdid it a little. At least the library smells nice now." A small giggle escaped again as she threw the socks and book on the bed. The household spells were supposedly complex and hard to complete, and Alice realised that this was due to finding the right balance. Turning to her wardrobe, she filled the silence with some conversation. "So where are you transferring from Charlotte? I moved from Hogwarts New Zealand last Christmas." She smiled at Meera, remembering the conversations they had had regarding the move, and she hoped with all her heart that it was going to be easier for Charlotte than it was for herself. Pulling out a few dresses she held them up one by one. "Thoughts? Charlotte, you seem to have an excellent fashion sense, any ideas?" She smiled warmly, wanting to include her new friend in the decision. "I'm going to try and shower this smell off before tonight, but any ideas about hair?" She turned to Meera, thinking she probably had it all planned out. Alice didn't mind, but she liked her fashion sense and wanted to be quiet at the party. It wasn't in her interest to be meeting more and more boys at these parties, so she would just settle with being quiet. Hoping that Meera had remembered this when planning the evening, she smiled nervously as she braced herself for the comments on her clothes.

A part of the blonde knew her attention would draw eyes. She knew who she was going with, and while it was just her returning a favour to most, it would look like a lot more. She smiled at Meera, thinking of it. She was glad the girl didn't ask her anything more about it, since she had promised that she would keep it a secret. She never liked to break her promises, so even if asked, it would just, very briefly make things awkward. This early into the friendship, Charlotte hardly wanted that to happen. She just knew that it would be the perfect way to make her re-entrance into Beaux life. She'd find her old friends, and catch up. See who new they had. All that would be true was that, Charlotte would be the nice one, who always helped out. Incredibly popular, mostly because of how kind she was. How much she was down to earth, in comparison with some. Charlotte liked to think she was fairly well liked. She couldn't think of many reasons why some people could hate her that much. She just was doing what she had to. Doing what she had always felt was right, what she'd been brought up to behave like. The perfect daughter, who stood tall with her shoulder's back, who didn't have one flaw or one bit of make-up out of place. Perfection. Charlotte knew the party was a few hours away, but it would be all the time she'd need. Her make-up needed to be redone, her hair, to be style depending on the dress. She didn't want to be late, but she also didn't want to rush it, and end up making herself look horrible. She gave a little smile, as the newest person to the room, for Charlotte, told her, it was just Alice, Charlotte gave a light laugh, as she finished removing her previous make-up. Fearing internally that she looked horrible, when really she was naturally pretty. The girl addressed her as Miss Williams, and Charlotte just giggled slightly "Oh, Miss Alice, it's just Charlotte. I've just been brought up to address every person with either Miss, Mrs for all female, and sir, for all male." She explained very matter-of-factually. She shook her head at the girl, "And not just any roommate though, Miss Kate, you'll be The Roommate. The quiet stunning girl everyone wants to be. Right, Miss Meera?" Charlotte giggled slightly, before turning her attention away. The smell didn't bother her, and it seemed like much more of a Alice and Meera thing, so she let that go on, until she realised that someone had spoken to her again, she had been adding a thin layer of powder foundation to replace the one she'd just taken off. "Well, I've bounced around schools, but the one I transferred from this time around was also Hogwarts New Zealand. I was a hufflepuff. You?"

Her attention was taken however, by the purple dress that Meera held up. It was indeed stunning, and she could just imagine how incredibly she'd look in it. She headed over to the dress, taking a much closer look, though bending down in the heels and her current dress was hard. "Miss Meera, nice is an understatement." Charlotte gave a small laugh, "That is a simply stunning dress. Yes, wear it. It'll look incredibly on you." Charlotte looked to Meera taking a few steps away. "Elegant, yet daring. Miss Meera, I am impressed. Did you have any other options?" She said, as she turned back towards Alice, who had taken out three dresses, and had one pair of shoes out. Charlotte thought they all looked great, but needed like before to get a better look. She shook her head slightly. "Miss Alice, we are going to need to get you some more dresses. Beauxbatons will have many more parties" She said with a light giggle, before heading over to her own stuff, and pulling out a glittering pair of stiletto Heels. Beige in colour, and sparkles all over. "Consider these with, the beige dress. The beige dress will look great on you. Not to mention it's lace like, which is a classic, but always stylish. What do you think, Miss Meera?" Charlotte smiled at the girl, and then up at the hair, "Very loose waves, just to give it volume, and length. It'll look great. That or put it up in a bun, buns are very in right now, and you have the cheek bones for it to work," Charlotte nodded to herself before wandering back to her own belongings. She pulled out two dresses, the first was a short black dress, with lace sleeves, that came round the bodice. It was fitted to Charlotte's sizes, and she found it on of the easier dresses to breath in. The other was a red dress, with a beige base, and red design on most of it, amounting to a red skirt. It was once again made to her size, it had been made slightly longer, so it was slightly more fitting for a Williams. However, this dress was the nicer of the two on her, she thought, but unlike the black dress, Charlotte knew the dress brought in her waist completely. It was just like the dress she wore currently. She didn't know. "Okay, which do you both think? Black or Red" She held them both up so they could both see. Charlotte was good at picking out others clothes, but her own, that was a completely different matter. "It has to be perfect"

As she held up her dress, she wondered if she should have gone with the cream dress. Meera heard the response of her new roommate. She smiled as Charlotte said nice was an understatement. "Well, thank you" she replied her smile on her face. "I am going to curl my hair and all" she added telling her friends about what kind of look she was aiming for. As Charlotte asked if she had any other options, Meera extracted the second dress that had been on her mind. "I thought this but its a light color and dark colors go better with night parties" she said in a matter-of-fact way. "Plus the closed neck will only look good if I do a bun and I want to let my hair down" she explained why she had chosen the purple dress over the cream one. She was pleased that she had friends to help her decide. She put the purple dress with it's hanger on her bed and took out a few matching accessories she intended on wearing that evening. A pair of long earrings, a silver ring that was her family heirloom and a black and purple bracelet. Opening a different section of her wardrobe she got out her black heels and then picked a purple nail polish. She heard her roommates talk about their previous school. "Yes, Charlotte" she said with a grin. Alice was very kind and nice and when Meera and Charlotte would be done with her she would be perfect. She waved her wand and pointed it at the nail polish bottle. The brush magically started applying the paint first on her toe nails. She had a lot of practice with this spell by now and she knew she had done correctly and the brush would not ruin anything while putting the paint. The nail polish was an instant dry one, with magic of course. She made the brush do her hands next and she was all done in five minutes.

A few minutes back, Meera thought had thought that this Saturday afternoon would be very boring but seeing the turn of events and watching her friends pull out dresses made her mood. She looked at the dresses Alice had picked out for herself. They were all pretty but if these were her best than they needed to take her shopping. It would be a fun trip and buying clothes from designers of the Fashion Week held in Paris would certainly be fun. She decided to suggest the idea later on when they had a break. She closely examined each dress."I agree with Charlotte on the dress" Meera told Alice, a thoughtful look on her face. "It has best fitting for you" Meera continued. She also liked the purple dress but it was not as classy as the beige dress. She remembered how Alice had complimented her hair back when she had first met her. Alice had said she wanted hair just like Meera's. Meera thought Alice had great hair it just needed more maintenance. For now it needed some shampooing and conditioning. It would leave it fresh and smooth plus make it smell really good. "Bun will look good. You hair needs to be shampooed and dried first, though" she told Alice giving her honest opinion. She wanted Alice to look nothing but the best. "You should go bath. You'll have to paint your nails, dress up, dry your hair and put make up. We can't hurry anything so we should start early" she explained. She knew Alice would know that Meera was explaining and telling her all this for her own good. This was the first step of the lesson. Meera turned to Charlotte. "I think Red" she said giving her opinion. She didn't fancy the sleeves of the black dress. "You could wear something silver with diamonds with the dress" Meera added with a grin.

Alice looked her new roommate in the eye and smiled. "Well, if you insist on Miss Alice, then it's Miss Charlotte!" She laughed, wanting Charlotte to know she was only being friendly, but also that she didn't want to be called Miss Alice but just plain old Alice. It was her name and she didn't want friends to add fancy titles. "Pfft. Me stunning? Not with you two around! Or even with half the school around!" She added, not wanting to get into a debate about it but feeling fairly uncomfortable with people telling her she was pretty. She didn't believe it and didn't want them to be making fun of her if she accepted the comment. Something about the roommates made her wonder why she was there. As Ava had said, they seemed to be in a different league - at the very centre of Beauxbatons, and Alice wasn't sure she'd fit there. She looked at the dress that had been chosen and thought about the comments that had accompanied the choice. She had always thought she had had good fashion taste, and she enjoyed accessorising with simple things. But, it seemed that this class had a different taste and she needed to adapt hers. Seeing they liked the beige dress, she rummaged in her wardrobe to pull out another one. Holding both up now, she asked for more opinions. The dresses were exceptionally similar and Alice recalled the situation in which they had both been bought. She had been saving the dress for a party in the summer, and on the day she had the party, she had put it out on her bed. Her mother, thinking it was to be washed, had taken it and begun to wash it. So, in amongst the huge panic that followed, her mother had driven out and bought the only similar dress she could find. So, Alice resultingly had two similar dresses. The one with the sleeves looked more elegant Alice thought, and would probably fit in better with the overall style. Alice had a good physique and shape and was pleased that most sizes of dress fitted her. She turned her attention to Charlotte, who said she also came from HNZ. Alice smiled, pleased to have found a friend in the same situation, but realising that Charlotte had also moved around a lot and so would feel differently to Alice about the big move. "I was a Ravenclaw. Would be in my 6th year this year, but Beaux suggested I resat a year to get the feel of the school. So I'm technically still in my 5th year with Meera here." She smiled across at her friend, trying to convey a small dose of thanks for all the help Meera had given her with the etiquette lessons. The Ravenclaw hadn't seen the point of such lessons and so had needed some help settling in and catching up from the past 5 years she had missed at the school.
Twiddling her hair nervously, Alice thought about the suggestions. She had originally thought of having it long and straight and down, but the other girls thought differently. Deciding to let herself into their hands, she nodded. Watching with amazement as Meera carefully painted her nails using magic, she looked at both the girls. "I feel stupid, I don't have any nail polish to match these shades of dress. Do either of you have anything that would work?" She asked, feeling a little sheepish and being the least experienced in fashion and parties. She hoped that one time she might have some experience that neither of the girls in front of her would have, and she could offer some advice, but she doubted it. They both had an elegance and wisdom that Alice felt would beat her's. The only situations she may have an advantage in would be less likely to arise. Returning her thoughts to the topic at hand, she fiddled with her hair. It wasn't in the best state currently, having not been commited to looking after it. She had once looked after it with exceptional care, thinking about it and looking after it all the time at Hogwarts. But since the move, she had just been distracted and it hadn't been a huge priority. Regretting this now, she waited to see for any more instructions before making her way to the shower. Grabbing her robe, she smiled at the girls and disappeared into the bathroom. She pulled her towel off the rail and quickly undressed before slipping into the hot water. Her thoughts swirled around her like the steam and she washed her hair slowly and methodically, taking care to moisturise and condition every part. The texture became silkier in the shower and so she turned her attention to cleaning her body. Making sure that every surface was clean and polished, she turned the water off and stepped out. Pulling her robe around her once she was dry, she exited the bathroom, opening a window on her way out to allow the steam to leave. She reentered her room, wrapped in her robe, waiting for her next instruction from Meera or Charlotte. She didn't mind being the 'doll' of the room, but didn't want to be seen as a puppet.

It seemed her choices seemed to do down like a charm. She agreed that the beige dress that Meera held up was much more of day dress than an evening dress. Much in the same way that she was beginning to think that her own black dress was not very suited for the birthday of the head boy. And she also realised that her date being one of those boys would appreciate much more, the red dress. A dress that had the wow factor and did make her look incredible. She glanced over at Alice, who seemed very insistent to think that she wasn't pretty in the slightest. Charlotte had met those kind of people before. She didn't think she was stunning, but she was always able to tell when others were. That and she was a kind person who was often complimenting others rather than herself. That and her mother had always been the one to tell her that naturally she was just not enough. She sat herself on a chair in front of her mirror. Finally slipping off the high heels and beginning on the various bits of make-up she had to apply. It was as the girl said she had been a ravenclaw that she turned her attention back. "Well, I was supposed to be a seventh year, but, my father and I agreed that I should repeat sixth year. Since it's OWLs year, and I missed the OWLs last time around. So, here I am" Charlotte knew that this was the better choice, but it would be annoying so see her friends graduate and not be able to graduate with them. She did however know that she wasn't exactly the sharpest pencil in the box and would therefore benefit from being able to do more work for them. The former Hufflepuff was happy though. She knew that she'd do well, and she could prove to her father that she was not such a failure. She began to put her new make up on as Alice went away to shower. "Oh, don't worry about nail polish, I'm sure between me and Miss Meera we'll have the right colour." She said with a bright smile. Charlotte always took a while to put her make-up on, it was why she had had a shower long before arriving at the school, just over an hour and a half ago. She was glad that she'd become roommates with two girls both of which were seemingly interested in the same things as her. And well, Alice would get used to it. It was a gorgeous dorm. Everything was just good. This would be an amazing year.

Glancing quickly over at Meera who said the red dress was the better of the two. Which, Charlotte did agree with. She thought so too. It was more stunning, and it showed off her slim figure a lot more. She also agreed that anything of diamonds would go well. it was a good thing that Charlotte came from a rich family, she had a number of diamond jewelery. She stood up, feeling a little weird just being on her feet, and wandered over to where she kept her jewelery, after a little bit of look she pulled out a set of gold and crystal earrings that were very expensive, and then a bracelet, that was more like four in one, that was less expensive, but matched the entire outfit. "I agree Miss Meera," She said as she wandered back to her mirror, and looked at them with the dress. It would be a stunning outfit that was for sure. More incredible than she could've really hoped for. It would be great. She knew then that she would not be the most horrible looking person in the room. Which was good. Charlotte put on the first layer of moisturizer and then foundation, enough to compliment her light skin tone. She then put on her magical red nail polish before applying a little more of the make up. She was glad her hair was done, it make it easier to style. However, before she could get started styling her own hair, Alice came out of the bathroom. "For the dress, Miss Alice, I would say the one with the long sleeves. It seems just that little bit more elegant. But, it's whatever you are most comfortable in." She said with a friendly smile towards the girl. "First, we need to do your make up, and hair. Miss Meera, I could do her make-up and you could do her hair. Not, that I don't think you could do it yourself Miss Alice, but we are restricted for time, and you need time in case you decide you hate it." She motioned for the brunette to come sit in her chair. Even if Meera was busy with her own hair, Charlotte would happily get started on the make-up. "How much make-up do you want?" she was sure to ask before getting out everything she needed.

Meera was glad that Alice was finally fitting in into their world. Personally, Meera hated change and she could not imagine settling in a new place with new people and adapting so fast. She was glad she could help Alice through the process and Alice did not mind when Meera gave her tips here and there. If Meera was to be taught something by a younger person that would take a lot of effort because first of all she was mature then most people her age and secondly she had a hard time adjusting to having other people in charge of her. This attitude came with her being a Princess or maybe a Prefect but it was there. Although Meera did not make new friends easily, once she did she was grew close to them and she was glad Charlotte was so much like her. Once Meera was done with her nail polish she got up and checked her make up section to see if she had the matching shade of nail paint. "Alice's lucky. I have the perfect shade" she said with a grin as she placed the nail paint bottle on the dressing table. Meera quickly got working with her hair. She knew once Alice was out of the shower they would be helping her. She took the magical hair styling cream and applied it on her hair. It did not make her hair wet or oily but instead let her have perfect stylish curls. She actually preferred this more than the curling iron which was a time consuming task. This cream was meant to last its effect for twenty four hours and Meera did not mind having her hair curled for that long. She loved her hair look.

"You're done. Hmm..that shampoo sure smells nice" Meera said to Alice with a grin as she showed her hair to her roommate. "What do you think?"she asked, her tone showing clear excitement. Putting on her dress and accessories would not take any time. Now only her make up was left and she was going to go light with that. Just some foundation, a good shade of lipstick, some eyeliner and mascara. Blush was not her thing. That was suppose to come naturally. "Yes, I am perfectly okay with styling your hair" Meera said with a smile agreeing to Charlotte's suggestion on doing Alice's hair. She thought she could curl some part of Alice's hair, by using the same cream but in less quantity and then make her a nice bun. Meera did not want to make Alice feel like her opinion was nothing because it was important too. "So which dress did you pick?" she asked curiously. Charlotte would have to put the make up according to the color especially if Alice was planning on putting eye shadow. "Would you like to have me do your hair and how would like it to be?"she asked continuing her series of questions. She wanted Alice to be happy and feel that she belonged. Tonight would bring Alice one step closer to belonging to the school and Meera wanted Alice to be involved in that and truly enjoy it.

Meera looked at Charlotte. She had always thought the girl was pretty but the first layer of foundation made her look no less than a model from runway and she sure knew how to select her foundation shade and apply it in just the right amount. She knew they were going to have a blast tonight. She made a mental note to take pictures in her camera so her family could see her being part of school activities. Her mother always complained that Meera was never involved in socializing unless it was Qudditch or leadership related like Prefect meetings and on such occasions she just did her work and not talk much. "Charlotte are you going to try out for Qudditch?"she asked her friend. It would be nice to have her new roommate be interested in Qudditch. Alice was not such a flying fan and Meera knew they couldn't have everything in common and that was what made them different and yet friends. She could not remember if Charlotte had been on the school team back when she was in Beauxbatons. Some girls at Beauxbatons were too girly to indulge in Qudditch and Meera thought they were plain mental. Despite being interested and up to date with fashion, Meera was very active in Qudditch and obviously she had other activities up her sleeve like archery and sword fighting.

Alice smiled at Meera's and Charlotte's encouragements. She was feeling more confident about this evening than she had done earlier. Smiling at Meera's comment on her shampoo, she rubbed her hair to dry the ends. Nodding at her roommates' offers of helping her with hair and make-up to save time, she took a seat. "I'm going to go with the one with longer sleeves, it seems to be the best one for the evening. Although, I really don't know what to expect from an evening like this. I haven't ever been to one before." She shook her hair out, waiting for them to help her. It would be fun, getting dressed up with friends, and Alice would just have to let them 'doll' her, because that's evidently what they wanted to do. It would only be fun if she let it, so deciding to make the most of the evening on offer, she smiled. "Meera, I think I like the idea of a bun, but the actual style is up to you. I don't mind anything! You'll get it done a lot better than I could ever do." She smiled again, being patient and waiting for either of them to start. Hearing Meera start the conversation about quidditch, she laughed. "I'm hopeless at the sport and can't get off the ground without freaking out. So Meera needs some company out there!" Turning to look at Meera, she winked. "But I'm a brilliant supporter and will be there watching you guys! I even hear that there might be the chance to play HNZ some time, now that would be an interesting game. I wish I could go and watch if it happens. Although that would be kinda weird maybe, you know, being back there with everyone I know." Her speech trailed off, lost in thought of that magical place again. It was a split emotion for her. Beauxbatons was becoming her home more and more, but Hogwarts would always hold a special place. When she had first arrived, Alice had found it hard to move, but easy to define the two. Now however, they both held special memories and fondness for her. The hardship came in choosing which to follow for the rest of her time. Thinking that the room was becoming quieter, she began to find some conversation again. "On a better note, I may be able to re-take up my summer job at Ollivander's shop in New Zealand. I used to work there part time, and have been in contact with Keira Potter who owns it. She says I might be able to go back there in summer and help out!" The news was fresh off the press and she was desperate to tell someone. However, with all the excitement of the evening, she had nearly forgotten! Looking around at her two roomamtes, she waited for their reactions. It might be below both of them to work in a shop, but for Alice, she had always wondered if her future may be in wandlore.
