(OOC: No, dont worry :) )

Amelia smiled at him as he touched her cheek. She was contemplating whether or whether not to kiss him, when there was a knock on the door. She sighed and the moment had gone. Breaking apart from him sadly, she went over to the door and opened it. Standing there was a boy from the lobby, holding cleaning stuff in his hand. Amelia glared at him. She knew the real reason why he was there, for her room had already been cleaned twice that day. He had obviously seen her bring a good-looking guy up with her and wondered what was going on. She glared at him and started speaking in quiet french so quickly that anyone who didn't speak it as their main language couldn't keep up. To say that she looked dangerous was a slight overstatement, but being a half-veela, her quick but controlled temper was stunning. Not strange, but stunning. She almost looked more beautiful in a temper, with her long hair flowing out behind her and her eyes blazing. She noticed the fear in the boys eyes and calmed down, her eyes returning from their firey state to their normal soft brown. She muttered something else to him and then closed the door as he hurried down the stairs. Turning back around to face Alois, she smiled softly, wondering how he would react to the previous scene. "Sorry." She said quietly, before gliding over swiftly and sitting down quietly on the bed that was closer than the chairs.

Alois was taken back when he heard a knock on the door. He did't really expect that at all. Nevertheless, he decided not to mind it, there must probably be a reason as to why the boy had knocked after all. Leaning on a wall as Amelia approached the boy, Alois cannot help but to hear their conversation, not all of it, but he could see that Amelia was angry. She was just like his mother when mad after all, scary yet beautiful at the same time. Sighing as the boy left, Alois decided to calm Amelia down. "It's alright Amy, there's no need to say sorry..." He said, a gentle smile appearing on his face as he watched her sit down on the bed. "Are you tired?" He asked, sitting down on on of the chairs as he waited for the girl to answer.

Amy raised her eyebrows as Alois started talking to her. "No, it is just those people. They are always here, cleaning, tidying up. They have no imagination. I will complain to the front tomorrow." She decided, smiling again at Alois and patting the bed next to her for him to sit. "Sorry, what were you saying before that?" She asked, wondering if the original moment would arrive again or not.

Alois then stood up and sat net to Amelia as she gestured him to do so. It was pretty awkward but not for him. "You're going to complain? Are they really disturbing you? If so, then I can probably talk to them.." He said worry evident in his voice, it seems to him that Amelia was being bothered by those guys who keep on going into her room in excuses of cleaning and tidying it up. "Nothing, I just asked whether you were getting tired already.." He then said, his voice gentle as he answered her question, it was getting really late, and he figured that the girl was probably tired already after the long day that they had been together.

Amy smiled and put her hand on his. "No, don't worry. They will shut up if they know what is coming for them. If i mention a complaint in front of them, they won't bother anyone again. Its the same everywhere." She said casually, thinking of the truth behind her own words. It was the same everywhere, in every hotel. Even in her own school. "Im fine." She lied, wanting to stay with Alois and talk. "So tell me more about your school then." She said, truly interested in what happened in Durmstrang. She had read a little about it, but no boy she had met had ever told her that much about it and she wondered if there was a deep secret towards it.

"Are you sure about that? If you are, then I won't say anything else, just tell me if ever you needed help then, right?" Alois said, his words holding the truth in it, he's sincere in helping Amelia overcome her problems, be it about her family, or about those people who keep on bothering her. "Are you sure you're fine? You can take a nap if you want to, I'm not going anywhere, well, not if you tell me leave already.." He then said with a laugh. "About Durmstrang eh? Why don't you tell me what you know about it first? Cause you know, I'm pretty sure that it has quite a reputation about being a rather dangerous school which is concerned with Dark arts.." Alois said, a smirk appearing on his face. It's true though, his school was known for its fascination in teaching dark arts, but it was actually quite a good school, fell of talented wizards who has the desire to learn everything.

Amy smiled at his confidence. "Thanks." She said, unsure of what else to say. Alois reminded her of her cousin Jack, who would go to the end of the world to protect Amy and make sure that she was safe. A few years ago, she had found him stalking her around Europe, to make sure that she was still safe. It was truly touching, but slightly unnecessary. They hadn't spoken since, until he had decided to write to Amy and apologise and then arrange to meet up. She was looking forward to seeing him again, and couldn't wait to tell him everything. "No i will survive." She said with another smile. She didn't want to sleep with such good company around, that would be a waste of time in her eyes. "Well my cousin Jack goes there, so i know quite a bit. You study the dark arts, instead of the defence against the dark arts. Most people seem to think about themselves rather than anyone else, and most of the boys are very arrogant." She finished, her eyes playful as she mocked his school. Knowing that most students loved their own school, she wondered how he would react. "But i suppose you and my cousin have been able to prove me wrong though." She added, not wanting him to think she thought badly of him for this wasn't the case. In fact, it was mostly the opposite.

Alois nodded, then smiled when Amelia told him that she's fine and that she didn't need any sleep just yet. That, actually, had made him pretty happy, seeing that they could still talk longer, they're about to meet up someday once again, but well, this day which they have been together seems to never end, not that he didn't like it of course, it's exactly the opposite of that. He really loves the girl's company.

Alois then listened as the girl talked about her cousin named Jack, of course, he had had heard that name at school before, one of his friends there seemed to befriend Amelia's cousin. "you're quote informed about our school Amy, that's pretty much how people view us.." He said with a laugh, fully knowing that a lot of people really think like that about his school. ""We do study dark arts, but not all of us are fully interested on that, and well... I'm not really arrogant, or am I? Huh Amy?" He then said, a playful smirk appearing in his face. Sure enough, he could be arrogant at times, but not when he's around with people that he likes.

Amy smiled. "No, your not arrogant. Well from what i know so far." She added, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "What sort of dark arts do you study?" She asked, remembering that her cousin wouldn't tell her anything, aware that he was cautious for her. But, she was eager to know and wanted to be told so she might as well ask. "Like i said, you and my cousin have been able to start to turn my opinions around." She added, smiling at him again and wondering what he was thinking.

(OOC: Sorry for the lame post :( )

"A lot actually, it ranges from brewing harmful or poisonous potions to breeding dark creatures such as Basilisks. It depends on what kind of student you are..." Alois said casually, remembering all of their Dark arts lesson, sure, he's not too fond of it, but there were still those that interests him, like the one about unforgivable curses. No doubt, most evil wizards are from their school. "I'm glad about that Amelia, your cousin, he seems interesting.." He then said, thinking whether he had had, at one point, crossed path with Amelia's cousin.

OOCOut of Character:
Don't worry, it's fine. :D

Amelia smiled, she had found out what she wanted to know. "Thanks, my cousin wouldn't tell me." She explained, admitting this fact a little late. But there was no harm in knowing such stuff. It wasn't like she was planning to breed a basilisk or anything. And all the schools looked at poisonous potions that were harmful. So there was no harm. "Yeh he is. I guess you could call him that. He is a 7th year and from what i know, doesn't tend to spend much time around other students in other years. He tends to stick around with his own group of friends. He is also a half-veela if that helps. Jack Evans." She added, wondering if they had met each other. It would be an interesting conversation, for Jack had scared away some of Amy's boyfriends before, but she had a feeling that it wouldn't work on Alois.

Alois smiled back at Amelia when she told him that her cousin wouldn't tell him about what they were being taught at school. He didn't really see the point of hiding it. "I think I've heard of him already, there's not a lot of part-veela in that school after all, not as much as Beauxbatons." He said, shrugging as he did so. "Now Amy, would you like to tell me about your school?" He asked, completely interested about the girl's school, his mother is from beauxbatons too, but she wouldn't really tell him everything about it.

Amelia smiled and nodded. It seemed that quite a few people had heard of her cousin, although she knew that he didn't know all of them. "Beauxbatons? Well, it is a castle, like the other schools. And it is in France. It is very old-fashioned, and the teachers appear strict at first, but they are really nice as you get to know them. Especially if you choose their subject. We do our OWLs in the 6th year, rather than the 5th like Hogwarts. There are a lot of half-veelas around it seems, but most of them don't seem to understand what to do with their gift/curse." She said with a smile, thinking of the adorable 2nd years that didn't understand the meaning of the inherited talent. "It is a great school, we don't study the dark arts in much detail - we only really know the basics. We have 3 different sets of houses, and when we first go to the school we are sorted by a sorting cloak like the Hogwarts hat." She said, smiling at her thoughts of how fitting it was at the delicate school that they had a cloak instead of an old mangy hat.

Alois listened intently as Amelia talked about her school, it was really different form where he studies, Beauxbatons seemed to be so elegant compared to his own school. "Cool huh? Beauxbatons seems to be rather interesting.." He commented. "In our school, we wear heavy furs with blood-red robes." He added, gesturing to himself as he remembered their uniform, it was pretty uncomfortable to wear, but he didn't really mind it, in fact, his mother thinks that it is very much fashionable for him to wear.

OOCOut of Character:
Sorry... this is really lame.. :(

Amelia smiled. "Well our uniform is thin blue material, and it gets really cold when we go over to England." She said, laughing slightly at the change in uniform even though they both had schools on the same continent. Wondering what they should talk about next, she fiddled with the elaborate tassels on the edge of her duvet quilt. Her ideas for conversation were running low and she had had enough of the plain conversation that normally occurred between two people when they first met. She raised her eyes slightly, and caught sight of Alois. She thought him good looking, a charmer and also a good friend. Wondering if she was pushing it too much, she leant forward and gently touched his lips with hers, a gentle kiss before retreating and looking down. "Sorry." She said, closing her eyes and fearing to look at him. She didn't know what had come across her, she was normally the one to make the guy do the first move, and her courage NEVER failed her. But now, everything had changed.

(OOC: Sorry, my muse was running low and i just typed it. :jesse: )

Alois listened as Amelia talked about her school uniform, his mom actually had one at their home, she often models her designs on it as well, whenever she lacks the inspiration. Chukling to himslef as he remembered his mom, Alois was quite surprised when he felt Amelia's lips brushed to his, it was just a light one, it can't even be called a proper kiss, yet it still was one. Touching his own lips, he didn't know what to say, for believe it or not, it was the first that he had, of course he had had kissed on the cheeks or the forehead, but not on the lips of course. Shaking his head, he tried to smile at Amelia, not wanting her to feel guilty or awkward for what she had just done. "No, don't apologize.. it's fine." He said, telling her and assuring her that he's not in any way angry for what she had just done.

OOCOut of Character:
no, that's alright. :D

Amelia smiled faintly but kept her eyes closed. She didn't really know what she had done and wasn't sure about what he had said. She had been told that she was a good kisser before, but their touch couldn't really count as a proper kiss. She listened to his assurance quietly, and let out a small breath when he had finished. "Sorry." She muttered again, still feeling bad slightly. She lifted her head up now though and smiled at him properly. Deciding to relax now, she fell backwards on the bed, her long hair lying around her face, framing it with dark curls. She looked up at the ceiling, as it asking it for ideas on what to talk about.

(OOC: Good :p )

Alois smiled as he saw Amelia relaxed, at least, she's not that tensed as she was before, he didn't like any awkwardness to happen between them, he treasures Amelia's friendship and he didn't want that to end on any sour note. "Amy, are you still leaving?" He asked, reminded that Amelia was actually supposed to leave, not if there's a good reason for her to stay as she had said, nevertheless, he wondered whether the girl would still leave, he would surely miss her though, after all, they had been pretty close already after such a long day that they had been together.

Amy smiled and looked up at him. Propping herself up on her elbows, she gazed into his eyes. "This is my hotel room." She said, a joking, light tone in her voice now. She laughed quietly, her bell like laughter ringing into every corner of the room. "No, i might stay for another week." She debated, realising that there was plenty of time to explore New Zealand. "But i will be back in a few weeks anyway, i go to school around here remember. And i will write." She said, smiling at him through her dark eyes, catching his own ones. "We could meet up at a weekend maybe, if you wanted." She added, leaving the question open for him to agree to. She didn't want to pressurise him to meet up with her again, but she was enjoying his company a lot and didn't want them to separate forever once school started again.

Alois laughed as he heard what Amelia had just said, of course, she wouldn't leave, they are in her hotel room after all. "You do have a point Amy, how stupid can I be?" He said, chuckling as he hit his own head playfully, his face lit up when he heard that Amy wouldn't be leaving for another week or so, at least, they could still talk right? and besides, once school starts again, it would pretty hard to communicate, they were from different schools after all. "We're about to meet up again Amy, remember?" He said with a smirk, crossing his arms in front of his chest as he did so. "And once school starts, you're write, we can still write to each other, and well, your cousin is in the same school as me right? So, we still have ways to communicate, that is, if he won't be annoyed by me.."

Amy smiled again. She took his hand away as he hit his head, not liking to see it happen. She knew it was only in play so played along, still holding his hand. "Yes, silly me. I forgot zat we were meeting up again." She said, repeating his action and hitting her own head playfully with her free hand. "Yes i am right, and normally am." She said with a cheeky wink. "My cousin will leave you alone if 'e knows what is good for 'im. There are ways to annoy 'im beyond words if you are me." She said, winking at him again and smiling. She would make sure that Jack didn't annoy Alois. Ok, so he might make a few comments, but nothing serious and he knew that Amy would abandon his protection if he annoyed her too much. Jack would never wish that, so he would do as she asked. "Yes, zat would be lovely." She said again, smiling at him.

Alois stopped Amelia from hitting herself to as he tried to suppress a laugh, "Amy, you're going to hurt yourself, stop doing that.." He said, stopping her by holding her hand with his free hand too, they look like children playing little games, but he didn't mind, it was a pretty amusing sight after all. "I have a cousin as well, and she's pretty much like your cousin, but you know, she's way younger than me, and it's pretty funny how she could act like she was older." He said smirking at Amelia. He wondered what would happen once the two would meet, being both part-veelas, it would probably be quite a sight, and yet, he knew how stubborn his cousin can be, so he was unsure whether he should introduce her to Amy at all.
OOCOut of Character:
I just noticed it, I typed write instead of right in my previous post.. haha.. :D

Amy smiled at Alois as he also stopped her hitting herself. They looked like a sweet couple now, holding both hands. It was a random sight, but Amy didn't mind. "Wow, i would like to meet her then. If it is so, then i am up for the challenge." She said, smirking slightly at the idea of a younger girl trying to act their age and protect Alois in the same way that Jack did for Amy. She knew that it might be hard at first, but then again Amy liked a challenge. "Well im sure that you will have to face my cousin first, and if you survive, then i will meet yours... deal?" She asked, holding out her hand for a shake.

(OOC: I noticed :p haha i didn't want to mention it though ;) )

"Actually, I think that she does need to meet someone who can stand up against her, and well, someone who can be a friend, a friend at school had actually offered to be of assistance, and well, another friend of mine had also offered her cousin to be a friend, seeing that they were of the same age and they have the same attitude." Alois said, enjoying the conversation although it was already becoming rather late. "Deal, give my regards to my cousin though if I ever I won't survive yours.." He remarked with a laugh as he shook Amy's hand, surely, he was up for the challenge of meeting Amelia's cousin, if he's really like his cousin too, then, it would be pretty fun talking with him.
OOCOut of Character:
yup, I just had to laugh when I noticed it.. :D

Amelia smiled at him. "Deal then. Im sure you will charm him as you have done me." She said, smiling and laughing at the situation. She indicated around the room, showing the couple sitting on a large bed in a room alone. She knew that he meant her no harm, but it was still funny the incidents that she ended up in by a little bit of smooth talk from one of the party. Sighing as random memories hopped into her head she smiled and lay back down, her elbows giving out on her again. This time though, she tugged his sleeve, making him lie down next to her staring at the ceiling. "Give my poor elbows a break and to stop you towering over me." She said smiling at him and turning her head to face his. Their lips were a few centimetres away, and she could feel his breath on her face. She smiled again properly with her veela smile, her heart shape lips pulling upwards and her eyes twinkling.
