| Dear Freddie, What a lovely surprise it was to receive your owl this morning. I am very well, thank you; the weather here in England is still (shockingly!) rather pleasant, so I have been out in my new garden, planting some shrubs. That funny stone raccoon your auntie bought me is sitting on the patio wall. It does a splendid job scaring away the foxes. Mind you, if I turn around too suddenly, it startles me as well! How wonderful to hear Ten has started a potions club. That is exciting. I hope you enjoy the wonderful world of potion-making. The best tip I can give you is this: read the recipe all the way through before you begin. Don't worry if you find it difficult at first. It took me months to brew a forgetfulness potion correctly, and look at me now! We are not blood-related, but we are family. Your cousin Reuben married my adopted daughter Saveli. Their children, Ainmere and Rion, are your cousins once-removed - and my grandchildren. Do keep me updated on the potions club - I would love to hear how you get on.
