Victoire had been having a strange term, she had done well in her classes, which was a given, but her personal life for really the first time since getting here had been having a tad more trouble. She had a strange feeling about everything, though she had worked it out with Jean, there was still a lingering thought of everything that had happened. She couldn't help if her mind lingered on the muggleborn part of things, of their strange friendship. Though, he was one of the few friends which she had at Hogwarts. He was a good friend, and she was glad they were somewhat back to normal,it had been strange avoiding him, it had been odd trying to figure out what she wanted to do about it all. Victoire was getting ready for the Yuleball, she had been looking forward to this, and though she didn't have a date, this wouldn't stop Victoire from having all the fun that she could have. It might be a lonely little night, but Victoire wasn't so bothered by that, any calm following the last celebration she'd been at would be good. The teen was finally ready, she had bought a dress before coming to school specifically for this occasion, and looking at it in the mirror she couldn't help but be happy about how it looked on her. She smiled to herself as she twirled in the mirror.

The teen left the dorm the moment she was ready, making her way down all of the steps to the Great Hall, where she knew the festivities would likely be in full swing. She didn't know what she would do, with no one to dance with, she knew it would be perhaps a little bit awkward at the beginning if she just got on the dance floor and began dancing by herself. Stepping into the Great Hall and seeing how busy it was made her think that perhaps with all these people surrounding her it perhaps wouldn't look too strange if she was dancing alone. The girl made her way through the Great Hall, posing in a picture with the hyper active Slytherin, before grabbing a drink from the table, slowly sipping it as she stood watching all the other people having fun. Then she decided she didn't want to just stand around, and so, the Gryffindor teen put her drink down on the nearest table, or well surface which wasn't the floor and then headed on to the dance floor where most people were dancing with partners or friends. Victoire who couldn't spot any of her friends just started dancing, though it was a little tricky in her heels, but danced to the music finding a smile graced her lips with ease.
