It was quite a week for Mark - he felt as if he needed more time of his own by every minute he spent with people all around him. It was difficult for boy to see all the communication happening between students from various years and houses, deep inside having a feeling that he actually wanted to find trustable friends to spend more time around with. Of course, his shyness didn't get away from him, although Mark had moments when he felt that he was ready to talk, ready to be more brave than usual, but most of the time these moments came when he was completly alone not having a chance to fulfill that.
Mark went outside of the castle after the lessons to the lawn, so he could just enjoy some time out. Mark took a blanket out with him, so when he found a spot near the tree with sun shining through, he pulled out the blanket and just sat down staring at the sun. He felt as if he was in Canada, on the back side of his house, where he usually spent most of his time either being alone and writing and drawing or just with his best friend, talking about what happened in their meaningless life during last hours. He grabbed a little notebook and a pen out of his bag and started writing:
When writing these lines, Mark all of sudden thought about not only his first ten years, but also about Eric, Gryffindor boy he had met and who was pretty difficult to understand. Mark thought that Eric just didn't want to express his true feelings regards someone and the reason he was so overly protective and negative had a deeper meaning hiding not only in his experience but also in his past. Mark looked at the sun once again, continuing to write:
And then he stopped because all of sudden Mark felt a memory flash back that made him stop writing. His pen fell down and Mark just looked far away and fell in his thoughts..

why can't we express it all?
so they won't lie and I won't lie
show the true side of your heart
and be so proud of who you are

show the true side of your heart

I look at you and feel you through
Remember the first day, you said
Remember the first day, you said
