Common Ground

The second Kayden saw the tear go down her face he regretted everything. He wish he had never learn to love Quidditch, it brought him all the way here to this point. He was ready to punch himself and throw himself back into the River at this point. He had never wanted to hurt her, in fact he had been drawn in by her beauty the second he saw her. She was the reason he had even taken a swim into the river in the first place, he had been so shocked to see such a pretty girl there he fell right over. Kayden wanted to whip the tear from her eye, but he knew he shouldn't. It would just lead him to giving in and kissing her again, when he had already said he couldn't be with her. The teen had been so sure she'd already have a boyfriend that when she kissed him it was suprising to him, plesant as well. He looked down at his shoes which were uch drier now but he could still feel the water on the inside. He was uncomfortable now, do to the situation and his wet clothing. He wish he had taken up her offer to dry him off now. He removed his hands from her arms, one automatically went to the top of his head combing through the hair there. He was sure to be making it more of a mess than it had been before, but he never really cared for how his hair looked.

Kayden heard the shaky voice and felt even worse. His words were breaking both of them down, and his teasing had brought them here. The poor guy was ready to kneal down in front of her and beg forgiveness and a chance. But it never could be he didn't know how to get the girl, get the Captain posistion, and please everybody. He made plenty of sacrifices for the team and he knew he needed this to go Pro. Stonewall Stormers, his dream team. They were Canadian but they were that far from home and his sister Georgiana would be there on the team with him. He needed to be close to her once more. For twins they had drifted so far apart over the years that all they had left in common was the Stonewall Stormers and their little's love of Quidditch and wanting to teach her the sport. Running his hand through his hair once again he glanced at her as she spoke. He hadn't known any of that about her, he had no idea that she had ever been through those things. It almost felt wrong saying no to her and causing more heartache for her. She was willing to go against her team for him, yet he wasn't even sure if he could do that. For her? It would be worth it, completely and utterly, but he would never put her in a situation where she could be hurt. And it so happened he realised any girl dating him would get hurt, and not necesarily by heartbreak, but by other girls. Kayden hated himself and his parents, for having sort of good looks and being really good at something.

"Corey," Kayden finally managed to get something out of his throat, but it sounded so broken and not at all like the charming guy he was supposed to be. He had no doubt that she would be able to handle not seeing each other for long periods of time. He wouldn't even mind it that much either as long as they were together. He couldn't tell her that though, not now. The best idea he believed was to just let her go. Go back to the school and sleep all of today off. Wake up and be a robot and eat and prepare for the game. Focus on winning and not pay attention to her. Leave the school and never look back, find someone someday who would be able to handle the fountains of girls spraying themshevles at him. Someone who'd love him and play Quidditch with him.

OOCOut of Character:
SO erhm yeah. I figure at this point Corey should just give in and walk away. And then we can continue this the next day. I had a thread with Mizelea (Mintzy) and the girl refused the let her team play the game. So I fugred if you want to continue it to the next day here that they go to pitch to find that there isn't a game and only the two hadn't been told about it, somehow and then we can make magic happen :)

Corey knew as she watched Kayden keep running his hand threw his hair that he wasn't going to listen to her. It hurt her, but she would not let herself break down in front of him. She had already shed one tear too many, but honestly she wasn't sure how much longer she could hold back the flood. Corey was already missing the feel of his touch, she knew it was selfish to want him to be with her but her heart told her otherwise. She looked to him for his answer, she heard her name and the pain that came with it. She allowed herself to look at him one last time before she bolted. She didn't want to be the cause of someone else's sorrow, the way he had said her name had said it all. Running back to the school she allowed her bottled up tears to flow free once she was sure he couldn't hear her. She knew she was sobbing but it felt good to have the release. Something had to give to help ease the pain that had seemed to seep from her heart into every fiber of her being. She didn't know how she was going to be able to face him tomorrow let alone play him. Corey only hoped she would be able to pull things together before then, she couldn't let her team down, not for this. That's why Corey didn't look back, she didn't stop running until she was in her room face down crying the rest of her tears out onto her pillow. Corey had never loved before, but if it had this much pull on her heart she wasn't sure if it was worth it. After thinking it Corey could only cry harder, because even if love lasted a moment and heartache a century, it would still be worth having that second to feel like you belonged with someone.

Corey eventually managed to fall asleep, how she wasn't sure but at least she might be able to play the following day if she could rest. That was all she could hope for anyway as she drifted off thinking of him...

Okay sound's good :) <3

Kayden watched as she ran from him. He had really done it now, he lost the one girl that had ever made his heart stop and speed up at the same time. She made him nervous yet completely calm and himself all at once. He was fighting back his frustration as he leaned against the tree which he had first saw her under. His forehead against the dark bark and his hands clenched his right hitting the tree a few times. His mouth let out one of those manly frustrated sound as he kicked the tree. Something that he regretted almost instantly, his foot hurt but it felt nothing like the pain in his chest. Turning around he looked up at the sky through the trees, it almost seemed to have cloudy over and gotten dark just as his feeling had changed. After awhile he pulled himself from the tree and made his way back towards the unfamilar school following the same path Corey had run in. Once he made it back to the school he fell into the bed that was his while he was at the school. He fell asleep in a fitful sleep and barely got any sleep at all.
~Night Day~

Kayden woke to the sun shining on his face, sighing he rolled over ready to ignore the day and stay in bed longer. But he remembered about the game. The game he'd have to play today against Beauxbatons. Sitting up he ran his hand through his hair messing it up as his thoughts ran through his mind. He was still groggy and noticed none of the other guys from his team were in their beds. Sighing he figured it was getting late and he had to get up. Pulling himself from his bed he headed to the bathroom and turning on the shower. Looking at himself in the mirror his shaggy hair fell in front of his eyes, which dark from his terrible night's sleep. Finally the mirror started to fog over and it broke him from being lost in more thoughts staring at himself and he hopped in the shower. Once he got out he was quick to put on clean clothes and grab his gear bag to go down to the Pitch. He completely missed the letter that had been placed on the nightstand next to his bed. He was glad of the warm weather and shining sun as he made his way down. It made the trek to the pitch a bit more enjoyable despite the looming game he knew was going to be the worst one he ever played.

Letter for Corey.I figure I'll also make a letter that Mizzy would have posted at the pitch which they can find at somepoint

Corey had woken up with a wet face and puffy eyes, remnants from the night before. Sighing she wiped her eyes and got up. She was going to have to clean herself up before she headed down to the pitch for the game. The game that Corey was seriously dreading because she was going to have to face Kayden. Still she was going to have to get through it one way or another. So Corey got up and got ready making sure that her eye's were back to normal before walking out of her dorm. She hated to think about how many people might have seen her running in there crying the day before. Not that it really mattered Corey wasn't going to let anyone get to her about it. Walking to the pitch Corey was surprised at how nice a day it was compared to her mood. It would be great for quidditch, but it still wasn't making Corey look forward to the game.

Corey was almost to the pitch when she saw him, Kayden walking parallel to her down to the pitch. Corey didn't know what to do but figured it best not to approach him, just go straight in to the team and pretend like nothing completely and utterly life changing had happened the night before. But she couldn't help but look at him, he really didn't look happy and Corey was sure she probably didn't look much better. She didn't know how she was going to get through this, she knew if he looked at her on the field with those eyes of his she was done for.

OOCOut of Character:
The letter's were a cool idea :)

Kayden went straight for the changing rooms once he made it to the pitch. However when he tried to open the doors they were locked and he shook them trying to get them to open. Sighing he turned and made his way towards the other ones not to far off wondering if his team was there. Looking up Kayden saw Her, the one would made sleeping last night so hard. It was obvious by her face that she didn't have a good night as well. But he was to far to actually see the rements of tears on her face when she cried the previous night. If he had seen them he would've turned away and tried to hide, fearing her anger. Instead he was to far away and could only see that she didn't appear very happy at the moment. He wasn't sure where Corey was walking to but he didn't want to be there. Well, he did want to be there, he wanted to be with her, but due to the circumstances he'd prefer not to be with her for fear of disappointing his team. Turning towards the building so he didn't have to see her any more he spotted a Board with one lone piece of paper on it. Figuring it might have some useful information on it he went up to the letter. Luckily it had been written in English and as he read it it took a few seconds to let the words sink into his brain. "What The!" He exclaimed reading the letter over and over. Kayden couldn't believe it! There wasn't going to be a game, the Captain of the Beuxbatons team had offically went to the Headmistress and told her that her team wouldn't be playing Salem. But the last sentence of the letter saddened him. Tomorrow, it seemed like so far off, and yet it was right around the corner. His left hand went up to the letter and he placed it next to the piece of paper as he read the letter once again.

Corey made it to the field just a little bit after Kayden, she could see him heading towards the home team locker rooms and she wondered why but saw him pulling on them. Trying the away doors not far from her she realized they both must have been locked. Corey wondered what could be going on, looking around she didn't see anyone anywhere. Looking back to Kayden she saw he was now looking at something posted, as much as Corey wanted to avoid a awkward situation with him she needed to see what was going on. Walking over to where Kayden and the letter were Corey hoped nothing bad had happened and that was why no one was here. Before Corey could get all the way to the letter Kayden shouted and Corey wondered what could possibly be going on. "What is it?" Corey asked referring to the letter. Getting closer Corey peaked over Kayden's are and read the letter. "There's not going to be a game?" Corey stated more than asked. Looking at Kayden, Corey wondered where that left them. They didn't have to play each other now, so maybe they could talk.

Corey wanted things to be okay between the two of them. Really she wanted things to be more than okay, but he was leaving tomorrow. Corey didn't want him to leave but there was no way for him to stay and no way for her to go. Corey had been giving it a lot of thought though and she saw no reason why she couldn't try out for the Stonewall Stormers. She had never really decided on a team, so why not try for the same one as him. Honestly they were a good team and Corey imagined that if by some miracle they both did get on the team there would be no stopping them.

Kayden could feel it come rushing up from his toes to his head. A bolt of excitement, rushed through him as he reread the words on the sign over and over again. He was now actually more excited then ever to not play a game. Something that was very rare for him, considering it was going to be his life after school. He had given up the girl to keep the rivalary between the teams alive and not risk a lost match. The teenager was sure that Corey would've been fine on the pitch, after all he didn't want to end things harshly with her or end them at all. However both teams needed their chasers and so he had to hurt her feelings in order to make sure she'd really play the game. Sensing her coming up by use of his ears and her not so quiet walking, it almost made him smile.

As a Native American he enjoyed hunting season and enjoyed evern more when he got to go out with a long bow and quietly stalk down the creature. It meant you had to be extremely quiet, which was something him and his sisters were all very good with. Corey it seemed needed a lesson or two. But then as she spoke he realised she wasn't really trying to hide the fact that she was so close to him. "Unless that's some sick prank someone is pulling on us and the rest of the school, I'd say there isn't a game," he replied trying to keep his tone even. Emotions were rushing through him and all he could do was wish that he had known this yesterday. The boy could've spent hours more learning everything about the girl, and still have her. He turned his head so he could see her face, up close he saw emotions written her eyes. She had a terrible night as well, there were tears streaks from unwiped tears. Yet he couldn't help but think she was still beautiful.

OOCOut of Character:
Can he kiss her this time around? :) He'll get to in the next post promise :)

OOCOut of Character:
Okay :) (Sorry so short.. )

Corey looked at Kayden with new found hope. They wouldn't have to try and fumble through the game trying to hate each other after all. It was so wonderful knowing that she wouldn't have to play them Corey could have cried with relief if she hadn't cried herself out the night before. "Well the door's are locked, so I'd say this is legit." She smiled, it felt good not having to play the game. Now they could figure things out before Kayden left for America the next day. She wanted to know how he really felt about her, if it was the same way she felt even after yesterday when he had told her they couldn't be together. Corey still felt complete around him, like he balanced her out. Corey didn't want to have to repeat all the heartbreak from yesterday, but she had to know if he loved her the way she loved him.

Corey had never been one to believe in love at first sight, but after seeing Kayden, see was a believer. The first time she had laid eye's on him soaking wet in the river she could only think of how handsome he was, but beyond that she had gotten to know him some as well. He was kind and passionate about the same thing's she was. Looking up into his blue eye's Corey saw the same fire that burned within herself.

Kayden couldn't look at the girl by his side so he turned back to the letter on the wall. Everything he bottled up after she ran away rested come urging back to the top. He still could not do it to her. The teenager refused to put her the position of being hated, sure if all the girls he knew were like Sara Moon than he'd never have this problem. But then there were the girls like Shiloh Denton, ones who easily could get jealous. And even though he had never shown any romantic interest to those girls they still had hope. His two best friends were so different and he never wanted to put Corey up against all the girls that chased after him. The doors were locked it was true. There wouldn't be a game it seemed. It just made everything more difficult. The teen did not want to play with Corey's feelings. Pushing his hand through his hair he stopped midway through his mane and took a hold of it frustrated.

Letting his hand fall to his side Kayden knew he'd have to make a choice. After she had run away from him yesterday he let the words she spoke soak in. She was missing parents like he was missing his mother. Though he was pretty sure she had meant her's died. His mother just walked out and he was sure she wasn't dead yet. Locked up in prison, maybe. She joined Quidditch to find friends and have a goal, just like himself. Really she was the girl version of himself. Down to the blonde hair and dark eyebrows. Her blue eyes looked at him when he glanced at her. Suddenly he couldn't help it, it came from no where just like when she had kissed him. He had fully turned towards her again and in a split second it seemed held her in his arms and kissed her passionately on the lips. Of course her's had been sweeter and lighter and played with his emotions during it. This kiss was full of all the emotions he had been keeping inside of him. Of course he was a teenage boy and had urges and the lust to hold her and kiss her again had been to great he couldn't help himself. Kayden had been fully planning on just going with that's that and walking away from her like she had him. But she seemed like so much more of a fighter than him. She would chase him down and do what he was doing to her now, he was sure of this. Pulling back his arms were still wrapped around her, he gazed at her face to see her reaction. He needed to know if she liked him as much as her.

Corey watched Kayden as he messed with his hair, Corey had noticed in the time she had spent with him that it meant he was thinking about something. Corey knew it had to do with her, and all that had happened the night before. Corey didn't have the slightest idea about what Kayden was thinking but by the way he was acting wished she did. The last thing that she expected was for him to kiss her. It was rough and passionate and in that moment Corey felt alight with the heat surging throughout her body. He made her feel so alive, so free. Feeling his arms around her Corey pressed her hands against his chest, she could feel his heartbeat thundering in his chest and couldn't help that it's pace matched her own. Corey never wanted to lose this feeling she had when she was with Kayden, right now when he was kissing her well it was like flying. The kiss ended all too soon but Corey could feel Kayden's arms around her and she smiled her eye's dancing in delight. Wrapping her arms around him in a tight embrace she loved how musky he smelled. "I was hoping I wouldn't have to follow you to America to make this work." Pulling back she smirked at him. "Because I'm pretty sure I'm madly in love with you." So that was it she was all in, she had kissed him first so it only fitting that she say the big L word first too. But she meant what she said, Corey would have followed him to the end's of the earth just to make him realize he wasn't going to get rid of her that easily. It would have been different if he hadn't felt the same way, but it was obvious to to her that he wanted to be with her and today's actions proved that to be true.

It was the last thing he ever thought he'd do. Kayden never meant to kiss her, but it was something like gravity that he was pulled into her orbit and he couldn't help but fall in head over heels, not that his shows actually were heels. They were just a pair of muggle running shoes. But it was the only way to describe his falling for her so quickly. All caught up in his emotions he did something so irrational so unlike himself. He never kissed a girl like this. Actually he had never kissed a girl at all before she had kissed him. Looking down at her he just wanted to kiss her over and over, the young male never thought he'd enjoying kissing so much! Listening to her speak realizing he had still been caught up in the moment and didn't say anything afterwards. Blushing he looked down but realized that he shouldn't be staring her chest and quickly glanced away to stare at the ground. He never would've let her move to America for him. "What was it the Thundering Thundererellas?" He replied to her showing that he'd follow her as well. After all she had better realize what giving up the Stonewall Stormers would mean to him. It had been his dream since seeing them win a match when he was thirteen. He was actually shocked by her next words. He didn't know what to say and he actually took a step backwards, though he hadn't let go of her so he dragged her along in his stagger backwards. "In love? I-I mean we haven't even said that we love each other yet and you think you're in love?" He exclaimed, not upset just utterely confused. He figured maybe whereever she was from people skipped the love you stage and went right to the In love with you stage. Breathing out the shock he looked down at her blue eyes with a smile on his face. He actually felt the same way, but with his upbringing he had to go with the simple version first, it was just the way it was done. Kayden's smile turned into a grin as he leaned down and gave her a peck on the lips, then he kissed the end of her nose before kissing both of her cheeks and forehead, just about all the spaces on her face. He was laughing while he did it. In his excitement he leaned over to far and actually pulled them over and fell to the ground. He managed to make it so he was on the bottom. Grinning up at the blonde for breaking her fall he turned them over and looked down at her now. "I love you," he said sweetly to her before placing a kiss on her lips once again.

Erhm yeah just went with it, lol I hope the godmodding is fine if not I can change it :)

Corey couldn't believe that she could have grown to love someone so much in so little time. But honestly it just felt right to her, she knew that Kayden cared for her and that was all she needed in return. Being here in his arms it felt like home to her. It was then that Corey heard something she never thought she'd here from Kayden, 'What was it the Thundering Thundererellas?' He wanted to be with her that badly, that he would give up the pro team he wanted just so he could be close to her. Looking at him with a new light in her eye's she smiled, "Nope, Stonewall Stormers all the way." She had already decided that if he would let her she would follow him there. Corey would be happy with whatever team she played for so long as she made it to the big leagues like she knew she would. Corey stumbled forward into Kayden as he stumbled back, but she was able to keep her footing. She hoped he wasn't upset with her, It wasn't like there was that much of a difference between I love you, and I'm in love with you. They both meant the same thing in the long run. But all of Corey's doubt's where obliterated when Kayden kissed not only her lip's but just about everywhere on her face. Corey couldn't help but giggle, and when they fell to the ground Corey laughed. It was all so romantic she could hardly stand it. He had even broken her fall for her. When Kayden moved so he was looking down at her Corey knew she was blushing, and her hair was a mess, and her lips were red from kissing him, but he loved her anyway. She felt his lips on hers once more and she ran her fingers through his hair. Feeling his lips against hers Corey knew she had been wrong before, kissing Kayden was better than flying...

OOCOut of Character:
It's fine cause it was completely adorable

Once Kayden heard her say the name of his favorite team on her lips he was hooked. Just yesterday he had believed he'd be playing against this girl, his dream girl, for the rest of his life. Always wanting her but not able to have her. He laughed and kissed her before she broke the mood with her statement. But of course all was cleared in his mind, she was from a different place, but he was still going to do things his way, no problem. Looking down at her he knew the words from his mouth to be true. He really had fallen her for her from the beginning, and it had almost turned into a Romeo and Juliet moment for them. He of course wouldn't be so willing to end his life if he couldn't have her, but he'd go out of his way to have her even dropping from the team. That was a big thought for him, the boy who said no girl would ever be able to keep him from playing. He was as loyal as they can be, which must have been something the sorting hat had seen when it placed him in Hufflepuff for his first two years at Hogwarts. Her giggles were beautiful bells ringing in his ears and he wanted to be with her forever. Or at least he thought he did and it may as well turn out to be so. But he was going home in the morning, back to Salem Academy. Pulling from the kiss slowly as the thought of leaving formed in his head he sighed. It was just his luck to finally have the girl here in his arms, and not be able to take her with him. She had an entire life built up here, all her friends on the Quidditch team. He wouldn't uproot her. "I leave tomorrow," he said with a serious tone in his voice. He didn't want the moment to end but it already had in his mind.

Corey watched Kayden as he seemed to think about something. She couldn't help but stare at him, he just seemed to have that effect on her. But when his face became serious Corey got concerned. 'I leave tomorrow.' Corey had been aware of this in the back of her mind the whole time, but hadn't been entertaining the thought. Now though they were going to have to talk about it. "I know, but it's only for a little while. Then we're off to play for the Stonewall Stormers." Corey was serious, they could still see each other when they had weekends off and they could keep in touch via owl. She wasn't going to let something as silly as not living in the same country keep them apart. She was in Paris for school which was much closer to America than New Zealand, and after school was done with she was going to have to be on her own anyway because she couldn't stay at the orphan edge anymore. So she could start out where ever it was that Kayden did. Then there would be nothing to stop them from being with each other like Corey so disparately wanted to. Granted she had never had a boyfriend before, but she had seen the way her mom and dad used to look at each other, the way they would kiss without saying a word. Corey had seen love, and she knew that was what she felt when she was with Kayden. Corey was not one to just give up and quit on something that she felt passionately towards even if it was hard. As long as Kayden wanted her Corey would make this relationship work, it was too precious to let it fade away.

Kayden felt like sitting up with his head in hands to think, or to fall back and stare at the sky with sadness. Be did neither of these things. He had so little time left with her he decided in his subconscious mind he'd stay and look at her to memorize her face as best as he could. The way she spoke made him actually wonder what year she was going to be going into the fall and what year she thought he was in. "What year will you be in the fall?" He questioned her with unwavering eyes. His eyes held his sad feelings of leaving so soon but also still shined brightly with love. He knew that they could send letters every chance to each other without causing their owls to drop dead of exhaustion. He wondered where she lived outside of school suddenly as well. "Where are you from? Where is home for you?" He asked suddenly the fact that they had been speaking English for the entirety of both conversations they've had. It meant she wasn't french, because she hadn't known who he was from the beginning like he thought she had. Suddenly he had this fear that she was actually older than him, it was his fifth year at school after all. He knew he looked older considering he recent growth spurt two years ago. If she was in the year above him, or even two years above him it would spell more trouble for the couple. He wouldn't mind of course, but it would mean her graduating before him and having to wait. He was afraid she'd fine someone while waiting.

Corey noticed the way Kayden was looking at her and she wondered if she would ever stop blushing around him. He asked what year she would be in the fall and Corey couldn't believe they hadn't talked about this sooner. She hadn't even thought about if they were in different years or if there was an age difference. "I'm going to be a sixth year, and you?" She hoped that they were in the same year it would make everything so much less complicated. But if he were to graduate before her she was sure that he wouldn't mind waiting for her. The next question kinda threw Corey for a loop, home. She almost said where ever he was, but she knew he wanted a serious answer. "Well technically it's Bayveiw Orphanage in New Zealand. But I was actually born here if that makes any sense. Once I graduate though I get to start out new where ever I want. I'll be to old to go back to Bayveiw." Corey was almost looking forward from getting away from her 'home' there were so many people there, and not all of them got along with her. It would be so much better for her when she moved out. Corey wondered where Kayden was from, she was almost positive he had to be from America but from where she couldn't be sure, "What about you do you live near Salem?" It was good that the two of them had time to figure out these things about each other. It was funny that they had told each other they loved each other before where they were from, but life worked in mysterious ways.

Kayden with relief when she said sixth year. Leaning back with a goofy grin on his face he reached an arm and draped it over her while using the other to prop his head up so he could be comfortable and still look at her. "Same actually, I feared you were going to be older, some people think I look a lot older than I do so I wanted to make sure you knew my real age before we dove into things, just in case," he said with uncertainly in his tone at the end. What would've happened if she was the type to never date younger men? He would've been out on the curb the second she found out he wasn't what she thought he was. Then again there were actually a lot of things she didn't know about him. He figured it could wait for letters, his twin wasn't that important right? The words Orphanage stood out to him. He wasn't sure if any of his friends were orphaned and he was surprised she had never been taken in by a family. He let her explain while he watched her face for the subtle changes as emotions went through her. He was sure that she didn't even know her face was so good a betraying her. "Salem. Oh I mean I live in New York, half in the city half out in the country," he told her wondering if he should go in detail about his home life at the moment. He was pretty sure her parents had been taken by some act of nature or human, while his mother walked out. The young man had a lot of emotions and angry feelings over this but he'd share with her if she asked. But he really wasn't ready to go into detail about his terrible mother. It would not suit the moments they were sharing right then and there.

Corey was glad they were in the same year, it meant they would both be starting out in the world at the same time. "Even if you were older it would have been okay, or younger for that matter." Corey wouldn't have minded if he was younger than her, it most likely would have only been by a few months anyway. Corey wasn't sure but she was pretty sure her real parent's had been the same age but her Mom was a few months older than her dad. Corey really couldn't remember, she had been so little when the fire that had taken her parent's lives had occurred it was sometimes hard for her to remember things about them. Corey knew it was worse for her sister Lolli, the fall that had been the cause of her pituitary dwarfism had made her forget some things about their parent's as well. Feeling the need to tell him about her parent's Corey continued, "My parent's died when our house burned down. By the time the firefighter's got to them it was too late. But it was a long time ago." Corey didn't get too worked up while talking about her parent's, it was like she said it was a long time ago. "Are your parent's divorced then? If you don't mind me asking." Corey figured if he lived half and half maybe divorce could have been the reason. She wasn't sure if he would want to talk about it or not, Corey had come to terms with the deaths of her parent's and spoke freely about it now, but she knew some people didn't like to talk about such things.

Kayden smiled as Corey told him age didn't really matter, grinning he leaned down and gave her a kiss. Pulling away he looked down at her with a playful look about him. "So you don't care that I'm actually going into my four year this fall?" He asked looking at her with puppy-dog eyes batting his lashes. It was a joke of course and he hoped she saw that, since yesterday his joke hadn't been received very well. He loved this. Kayden loved her, and he loved being there with her. He never wanted the day to end. It was only mid-morning but still he knew it would come sooner than he wanted. They were laying in the sunshine and he was glad of nice the day, though he hadn't really cared for it when he first set out in the morning. His smiles ended as she went to explain her past. He had been right after all. She didn't seem to be very upset about talking about it and he knew that his mother most likely left his life around the same time as Corey's parents did. "Yeah I guess they are," he said not knowing if the two had ever actually filed for a divorced. Kayden supposed it didn't really matter, his mother would never be a part of his life again. Georgiana had been a much better mother than his mother would have ever been anyways. He seemed to have come up alright. He may not of had a motherly woman in the house, however he did have two sisters and that was woman enough for the teenage boy in one house. Especially now that Indiana was beginning to grow up. He feared the days when she'd start to see boys.

Corey rolled her eye's at Kayden, he was obviously joking with her. "You think you don't look your age you should meet my sister." It was true because Lolli had hit her head on the stairs when she was 6 her body hadn't matured much from that time. So even though she has the mind of a 15 year old she looks more like a eight year old. Eventually her body would stop growing like anyone else's but odds were she was going to be very tiny. Kayden didn't give a really defined answer about his parent's but Corey wasn't going to push it. She was content enough here with the warm grass beneath her and him beside her. Corey just wanted to spend as much time as she could with him before he had to leave, it would be odd now that she knew what it felt like to be held by him and what his lips felt like against hers. She was really going to miss him when he left, but they were going to get through it, Corey was sure of it. Smiling at Kayden she wondered what it would fell like once he was gone but shook the thought from her mind. He was here now and Corey needed to take advantage of that while she could. Who knew how long it would be before they saw each other next. Sure there would be letter's, but psychically seeing and touching someone was much different than reading about how they were doing. Taking a moment to look away from Kayden and at the ground she picked a dandelion and watched as the fuzzy seeds blew away in the soft breeze. Smiling Corey wished for a life full of love, because she never wanted to lose this feeling she and Kayden shared.

Smiling as the girl of his dream rolled her eyes Kayden listened to her speaking. He wondered if it was real sister. He sensed that the girl may have something wrong with her so he didn't press the issue or joke about it. He kissed her again then, glad that she was there. He knew that even though she'd given him the first kiss he had given her so much more. If she ever felt the need to repay him for the kisses he wouldn't put up a fight but just being her and her being with him was enough for the teen. He sighed as thoughts of the looming departure entered his mind once again. But he pushed them from his thoughts as he sat up and began to stand. He hadn't had any breakfast earlier to beat down for eat anything before the game. "Come let's get something to eat maybe get a basket or something and come back out here?" He suggested having all these romantic things they could do pop in his head. He blamed his older twin sister for all these thoughts. She always made him play house with her when they were younger and always made him do ridiculous romantic gestures he never fully understood at the young age.

Corey smiled into the kiss, she couldn't think of anyway she would have rather spent the time they had left together. Kayden mentioned having a picnic and Corey grinned, he was the perfect boyfriend. After thinking it Corey was glad she had thought about it. She had a boyfriend, for the first time ever. It was a good feeling, like there was always someone to rely on. Corey knew they would be worlds apart but she couldn't help but feel that she wasn't ever going to have to tackle anything alone again. When they graduated they would move forward to play quidditch together, so even though Corey would be leaving a lot of 'family' behind she couldn't help but think her future seemed brighter than ever before, because she knew he would be in it. Corey stood up and smiled at Kayden, "That sounds great, really romantic." She grinned at him, he was really considerate for a guy. Corey had seen a lot of relationships in her time at the orphanage but none of them compared to hers, and she had just met Kayden. It but real meaning to fate and destiny for her, things she had always thought were for dreamers, but know she was a believer.

Kayden was glad when she agreed to the picnic or sorts. Of course he was fully planning on pack enough food in the basket for lunch and dinner. He wasn't need in the school anymore, he was more than happy to stay far from the rest of the peering and curious eyes of the school as long as possible. Standing with her he gave her a hug and spun her around before placing her back down and quickly took a hold of her hand. Walking up back to the castle would take a few minutes, and so he wrapped his arm which was holding her hand around her shoulder. Being able to still hold her hand and hold her. It was a nice feeling from a nice move. He felt comfortable near her unlike the night before when he had barely gotten any sleep. As they got to the school he made sure that she lead them to their destination of the kitchen. "Let's pack plenty of food," he said to the girl of his dreams with a wink.

Corey hadn't been expecting the twirly hug and laughed until Kayden set her down. She looked at him with joy in her eye's. He was so amazing and Corey wasn't sure what she would do when he left. Kayden continued to pull another move wrapping his arm around her shoulder without letting go of her hand and Corey didn't feel anything but love for him in her heart. She had felt so empty for such a long time. She felt so far away from her sister when she was in the hospital and her parent's were unattainable. Corey felt so full of love and life with Kayden she knew she would never have to worry about being alone again. Even after he went home they would write and visit, and it wouldn't be long till they were out of school and moving on with their lives.

Corey lead them into the overly large kitchen, they hadn't really run into anyone on the way which was for the best in Corey's eye's. Kayden mentioned lot's of food and she figured he wasn't planing on coming back to the school which was smart, they could spend more quality time together this way before he left. "Alright." She said watching his wink and grinning, he knew just what to do to make her smile. Looking around Corey was familiar with the kitchen and the elves that worked there from many nights of sneaking fruit after games. Corey saw a few elves who smiled at her and seemed to know just what the two had in mind. After a moment a small female elf Corey remembered from earlier ventures handed her a large basket that from the weight of Cory was sure was filled with tons of good food. It was funny thst the evles had known just what they wanted, Corey had never been here with a boy before. She figured they just knew some things, they were very special creatures house elves. "Thank You." She smiled warmly at the few house elves that were around, "That was so nice of them," Corey said turning her attention back to Kayden.

Kayden willingly followed Corey through the school glad she knew where to go. He found the school sort of confusing compared to Salem which seemed to have a more campus for a college layout but was easy to manage. He couldn't imagine sleeping, eating, and going to school in the same building. Which was why he was actually glad he left Hogwarts. Of course he missed the friends he made there but he made so many more at Salem, which was nice.

As the House elfs appeared before them with a basket of food handing it over to Corey another gave him a super large blanket. Kayden was sure it would come in handy if it got colder outside later. Leaning over he took the handles of the basket in hand so that Corey wouldn't have to carry it. It wasn't that he believed she was weak, but it was the proper thing for him to do. He had no doubt she had plnety of muscles on her arms, after all she was a chaser. And he knew what it took be a chaser. "It was," Kayden said in reply turning to go back out of the school. Some magical creatures were just quite clever he believed.
