The second Kayden saw the tear go down her face he regretted everything. He wish he had never learn to love Quidditch, it brought him all the way here to this point. He was ready to punch himself and throw himself back into the River at this point. He had never wanted to hurt her, in fact he had been drawn in by her beauty the second he saw her. She was the reason he had even taken a swim into the river in the first place, he had been so shocked to see such a pretty girl there he fell right over. Kayden wanted to whip the tear from her eye, but he knew he shouldn't. It would just lead him to giving in and kissing her again, when he had already said he couldn't be with her. The teen had been so sure she'd already have a boyfriend that when she kissed him it was suprising to him, plesant as well. He looked down at his shoes which were uch drier now but he could still feel the water on the inside. He was uncomfortable now, do to the situation and his wet clothing. He wish he had taken up her offer to dry him off now. He removed his hands from her arms, one automatically went to the top of his head combing through the hair there. He was sure to be making it more of a mess than it had been before, but he never really cared for how his hair looked.
Kayden heard the shaky voice and felt even worse. His words were breaking both of them down, and his teasing had brought them here. The poor guy was ready to kneal down in front of her and beg forgiveness and a chance. But it never could be he didn't know how to get the girl, get the Captain posistion, and please everybody. He made plenty of sacrifices for the team and he knew he needed this to go Pro. Stonewall Stormers, his dream team. They were Canadian but they were that far from home and his sister Georgiana would be there on the team with him. He needed to be close to her once more. For twins they had drifted so far apart over the years that all they had left in common was the Stonewall Stormers and their little's love of Quidditch and wanting to teach her the sport. Running his hand through his hair once again he glanced at her as she spoke. He hadn't known any of that about her, he had no idea that she had ever been through those things. It almost felt wrong saying no to her and causing more heartache for her. She was willing to go against her team for him, yet he wasn't even sure if he could do that. For her? It would be worth it, completely and utterly, but he would never put her in a situation where she could be hurt. And it so happened he realised any girl dating him would get hurt, and not necesarily by heartbreak, but by other girls. Kayden hated himself and his parents, for having sort of good looks and being really good at something.
"Corey," Kayden finally managed to get something out of his throat, but it sounded so broken and not at all like the charming guy he was supposed to be. He had no doubt that she would be able to handle not seeing each other for long periods of time. He wouldn't even mind it that much either as long as they were together. He couldn't tell her that though, not now. The best idea he believed was to just let her go. Go back to the school and sleep all of today off. Wake up and be a robot and eat and prepare for the game. Focus on winning and not pay attention to her. Leave the school and never look back, find someone someday who would be able to handle the fountains of girls spraying themshevles at him. Someone who'd love him and play Quidditch with him.

- Out of Character:
- SO erhm yeah. I figure at this point Corey should just give in and walk away. And then we can continue this the next day. I had a thread with Mizelea (Mintzy) and the girl refused the let her team play the game. So I fugred if you want to continue it to the next day here that they go to pitch to find that there isn't a game and only the two hadn't been told about it, somehow and then we can make magic happen
