Gryffindor coloura are scarlet and gold, but I use firebrick for the board, the real Gryffindor colour is too bright for the board and doesn't necessarily show up well. It stays as firebrick.
Also, I can't change the colour that it gives you for orange in the dropdown list.

To me the latter orange (the one in the drop down list) is more orangey anyhow.

I'm sorry if that seems a harsh reply, but scarlet is definitely too bright and so is normal red.
We'd discussed what the colours for the member names for each house would be a while back on IF and arrived to those four colours, so that's why they're in use.
