Édelie was glad her family had decided to spend time in New Zealand again during the winter break. Although, she wasn't exactly experiencing winter here and rather enjoyed her yellow sundress. Carrying the violin case of her left, she made her way through the park, looking for a good spot to stop and play. She had read about the idea in a magazine and figured it would be worth a try, seeing as she was feeling much more confident on this particular instrument. While her teacher harped on her to stick with traditional pieces, she wasn't much a fan of Chopin and preferred exploring different cultures. Lately, that meant embracing the Irish, and as she placed her case on the ground, opened in case any folks were feeling generous, she quickly tuned up and started playing the first piece that came to her head, tapping the toe of her shoe in time.

OOC: Let's just say she'll be playing any of these songs without the extra instruments, of course, unless anyone wants to add
Open after @Chloe Thompson @Flynn North and @Pascal Monsanto

It was incredibly strange for Flynn not to still be at Hogwarts at this time like he had been for the past two years. But this time was different. This time he had been adopted. It was something he was still rather trying to get used to in his head, not to mention the sudden freedom he had not to worry about having to ask one of the matrons to accompany him all the time. Because of course he wasn't allowed out of the orphanage by himself just in case he wanted to run off. Which he had considered in the past but had never really gone through with it. For now, he was just taking a walk through the park, trying to clear his head when suddenly he heard violin music. Instantly he whirled around and groaned, refraining from putting his hands over his ears to block the sound out. This was not helping clear his head in the slightest.

Chloë had been quite enjoying her break so far, kind of enjoying the calmth before she'd be heading right back to school and would have plenty of stuff to worry about again. Like quidditch and more importantly OWLs. Spending some time at her brother's place she had headed out to brightstone whilst he was at work, still a bit jealous of the fact that he lived so close to the place. She had decided to take a walk around the park trying to come up with a plan for the day when there was the sudden sound of a violin. She turned around to see where it was coming from, a little impressed to see a girl just starting to play in the middle of the park. As she had been turning around to look for the source she noticed Flynn, who seemed less than impressed with the music which she thought was quite good. "Ah c'mon, it's pretty good." Chloë laughed as she went to stand next to him. Although maybe he just really disliked the sound of a violin.

Pascal had been enjoying his holidays. The fact it was summer in New Zealand and the otherwise cloudy and sad weather was now bright and sunny made his time away from school all the more enjoyable. Pascal liked to spend his time outside when he could, to take in the sights and sounds of the landscape when he had some free time between dance classes and practices. That day, after a short trip to Honeydukes with his mum, Pascal headed into Tākarokaro Park to walk and kill some time while his mum had coffee with one of her friends. As he walked around the park, slowly eating his lollypop he found himself following the sound of a violin, eventually spotting the girl that was playing the music and approaching her. He pulled a galleon from his pocket and placed it in the case on the ground. “You’re really good! Can I dance?” Pascal asked, not really waiting for an answer before he tried his best to imitate Irish dancing with the lollypop still in his hand, despite never being trained for the style of it. He was sure technically he was dancing all wrong but there were no dance teachers around to scold him, and he was having fun and that was all that really mattered.

Édelie was in the midst of her upbeat jig but could still hear commentary from the onlookers, specifically the negative reaction from a younger boy. Rolling her eyes, she kept playing, unconcerned if someone didn't appreciate the style of music, as she knew her playing was good. Celtic music just wasn't everyone's cup of tea. Soon after, another boy came up, gave her some change and started dancing, causing Édelie to stop playing mid piece and giggle. "Are you a step dancer?" she asked curiously, her thick accent standing out, one of the downsides of being trilingual. "I can play something more specific if you have a request?"
