Conan had been in a better mood since vacation. No pesky sister. No restrictions. No limitations. No irritations. No annoyances. No unwanted noises. Of course, it was almost like paradise for him, except for the fact that the whole vacation he was about to die from hunger, since he was no good in the kitchen, and he wasn't even the least willing to ask for a meal from Ai. Nope. He won't have it. But luckily, when they were welcomed once again to school, they had an all-you-can-eat feast and Conan was sure glad about that. Sorting had already taken place and there were sure to be a lot of irritating and nosy little first years in the bunch. He hoped he was wrong.
The Japanese boy hastily got out of bed, not-so-glad of his roommates noisy snoring. He quickly grabbed some clothes and headed for the bath. It was relaxing indeed since he was the only one awake, he had no need to rush, and classes were still not in place. Soon enough, he was out of the bath, done with breakfast and was now walking his way to the Courtyard. It was a nice place to spend time peacefully in the morning since not much students gathered there during the morning, since most were either at the Lakefront or at the Lawn. He walked around the empty courtyard and hoped that no one will bother him, disturb him and change his now good mood.
