Sara ran down to the great hall, her sneakers squeaking on the floor. She stopped to compose herself outside the great hall. Straightening down her dress and walking into the room she looked around, in the hope of seeing some friends, but none of them had arrived yet. She was dressed as a muggle cheerleader. She had never actually seen a cheerleader in real life, but she had seen them on television. She was a bit nervous, last Halloween she had been with her friends the whole night, but this year everyone seemed kind of different. She and Stefan seemed to be at each others throats, but she knew it would upset Kate if she talked about it. Kayden and her hadn't seen each other in quite a while and the only friendship that seemed intact was her and Willow's though Willow had discovered an illness that had changed her also. Sara felt like everything around her was changing, but she was staying the same and as a result, falling behind. She walked over to the table of food. She took a chocolate frog and began to eat, looking around at all the people in the hall, dancing and mingling. Sara was slowly retreating. The girl who used to be a social butterfly, one whom many people had heard of and knew, was slowly disappearing. She was hoping that something would happen, something to bring her back. She finished her chocolate frog and swayed to the music, her eyes closed, the song changed to a dance beat and she took a Bertie Botts' every flavour bean. Spinach. "Eww!" she exclaimed, swallowing quickly. She grimaced at the after-taste and quickly took another. This one was strawberry-much better. she smiled and swallowed, then decided to take a look around. She walked around the hall ,looking at the decorations and laughing at the funny Halloween costumes. She smiled, and began to feel herself for a while.

Candy. Danielle is obsessed with it. But it never really comes out until, she has a piece of it. She has a Sugar Rush, and runs around like crazy. And the worst, it only takes one piece of Candy for Danielle to be set off. Becuase of this, Danielle could never, go Trick-Or-Treating, though, but she knew it was for the best. Anyways, Danielle was dressed as a, Barbie Doll. She thought her costume was really funny, and liked it. She never liked Barbie Dolls, but didn't hate them. It was sort-of a, 'Sure I will, but its not my first choice' type of thing. She walked into the Great Hall, and looked around for her friends. None of them seemed to be there. She was starting to lose hope then, like an Angel, she spotted Sara. She didn't want to be alone, so it was good Sara was there. She walked up towards her and tapped on her shoulder. She was dressed as a Cheerleader. "Hey, Sara! Nice to see you." Danielle smiled. She noticed some Jelly Beans. "What are those?" Danielle pointed. "Jelly Beans, well obviously, but what kind?" Danielle asked. Her Candy addiction was slowly seeping to the Surface. Sara would really have her hands full. If Danielle tasted one, Sara better hope it doesn't taste like Candy.

OOCOut of Character:
I hope you don't mind if I have Aphrodite join! ^_^

Aphrodite Snow was extremely excited for tonight to begin! this was her first year ever attending the Halloween Feast and from the past descriptions that she had heard it was a really exciting event. All the costumes, the candy, and the tricks that would be witnessed tonight was something that Aphrodite was sure that she would never forget for years to come. Within her Dorm Room she got showered then put on her costume. This year Aphrodite decided to go as a Cow Girl. Halloween was never something she really celebrated back home so she wasn't sure what a good idea for a costume would be. Eventually she decided on the costume she had now. It was more like a sexy cow girl uniform but it wasn't too inappropriate so she didn't think it would be too much of a problem. Plus it was cute and something less typical than the usual princess or fairy costume that she was sure would pop up everything. They were very common so Aphrodite was proud that she had come up with something a little bit more different. Once she adjusted her costume and put on a little touch of make-up Aphrodite figured she was good to go and headed down to where the Feast was going on and everything. There was some music playing that immediately made Aphrodite wanna jump around and shake her butt off. As a future singer, or well a hopeful one, she loved dancing and getting into music, it made her feel like she could do almost anything. The smell of sweets also filled the air. Probably because of all the candy and stuff there was laying around. A bag would certainly be filled up by the young Gryffindor to stash away for later.

Passing by a table of sweets and food, Aphrodite paused and raised an eyebrow when she heard a girl right next to her say ew quote loudly. The blonde shrugged it off for a minute and watched as the girl walked off before she went over and poked a few Beans into her mouth. They kind of tasted like dirt so Aphrodite spit them out and into a napkin and threw them away. The girl she had seen earlier had probably gotten a nasty one too. Aphrodite decided she wanted to try and see if she could find the girl, her friends weren't at the Feast it seemed so she wanted someone to hang out with. Trailing after her she finally decided to say something. "Hey, I really like your costume!" Aphrodite said casually as she ended up next to the girl smiling with that trademark smile of her. The young Gryffindor was so far from shy. She didn't mind approaching this girl one bit. It looked like she was alone too so maybe she wouldn't mind either, even if she did look older than Aphrodite did. "Oh, I like your costume too! Are you a Barbie Doll or something?" another girl had shown up, her costume reminded her of a Barbie Doll or something that usually came in a box. It seems that she wasn't the only one intending trying to make a friend on this day or something akin to that. Aphrodite suddenly wanted more candy too, she felt like such a pig with all of these sweets around her. Jogging around tomorrow would be a must to work off all of this candy she had eaten.

Sara smiled as she chewed on her strawberry-flavoured bean. It tasted good. She looked around at the decorations, smiling at the skeleton displays and all the costumes people were wearing. She watched some of the younger kids also. First years. That was what they'd been like last year. Happy and carefree. Albeit, nervous of the older students, but mostly happy. She smiled at the memory of last years feast. She had been dressed as a bee and Kate had won cutest costume for dressing as Tinkerbell. She noticed a piece of cobweb hanging at an odd angle, and fixed it, earning her some dubious looks from some other students. She smiled back at them, not bothering what they thought.

Suddenly she heard a voice behind her. "Oh, hi Danielle!" she grinned, giving her a hug. "These are Bertie Botts' every flavour beans, they come in every flavour-want one?" she asked. She smiled at Danielle, wondering what flavour she'd get. "Fair warning though-they do mean every flavour." she smiled, handing her a bean. She smiled at Danielle's outfit. "Aw, that's brilliant Danielle, Barbie right?" she asked, laughing. She could just picture tiny little Danielle's being sold in packets.

Suddenly another girl approached, probably a first year, since she looked around their age, but Sara hadn't met her previously. She was dressed as a cowgirl and was basically-gorgeous. Sara smiled. "Thank you-I love yours, very original." she smiled, she liked people who were original. "I'm Sara." she grinned, smiling at the girl.
