You might remember that Tenile turned 21 recently? Well there's a bash happening at the end of this week and I'm flying down to be a part of it, so I won't be back until Thursday the 31st.

I'll be posting classes and doing werewolf because I've got my phone, I just won't be doing long replies because I have sausage fingers.

So things have been hectic since I got back. I ate so much stuff I shouldn't have at the party >_< (my fault) and was sick for a week, and then things started getting real busy. Haven't quite picked up so I've been in a slump since that time, but here's what's been happening;

Mum and dad and I have been applying for houses like crazy. Mountains of paperwork, inspections, all that bis. Been to at least several a week.

Applying for jobs. I have a job trial coming up, and if all goes well I'll be employed, but I'm freaking out because I've been sick and out of work for over two years, so I don't even know if I have the energy to keep up with what they're asking. There's only one way to find out.

Finally, early this week, my beautiful Casca is gone. This is the last photo I took for her before she died.​

I called her in for dinner on Monday evening and she didn't come, when usually she comes sprinting along with Geralt. I knew immediately that something was wrong. My friends got a play by play account of me saying she was missing, checking the neighbours houses and finding out what happened.

I spoke to the neighbours down the road and they said they'd heard a dog bail up a cat in the yard behind them, and the cat was screaming. They grabbed their cat and put them inside at the time, so they wished me luck in finding out what happened. Dad drove me around the block to speak to the neighbours behind us, and the first house I knocked at had the dog in the backyard. They told me that their dog had gotten a calico cat with a red collar, and that they'd taken her to vet down the road.

The vet was closed but we drove down there anyway, and there was a receptionist still inside so we knocked on the door and asked about Casca. We found out that she'd passed away.

I'm sort of traumatised by this, in a way; I can't let Geralt got outside anymore, and he wakes me up crying every morning to go outside so I'm getting really poor sleep. I'm hoping that when we move houses (praying that we move soon), we'll be in a safe neighbourhood that I can slowly get used to, and he might be able to go out one day.

Anyway, all this was basically me saying SORRY I'M SO SLOW! I've replied to a couple of things but I've got so many to go. I didn't expect my life to get this crazy all of a sudden. Sorry to Kaitlyn, Cyndi, Jesse, Emzies and Dan who have replies waiting. I'm getting there bit by bit. Please be patient with me.​

Oh KR, I know words can't ever really help when dealing with loss but I'm so sorry about your cat. I'm always here if you just need someone to talk to or anything.

Take all the time you need to, I wish you well for the job trial and I sincerely hope it goes well and you get the position and that you'll be able to do a good job at it!
