Hello there folks! Welcome to another installment of the BWU! HNZ is very busy right now, with lots of different awesome stuff going on, so I will get right to it.
Sorting
As you've probably noticed, Sorting is underway! This is very exciting. Be sure to sort your coming first years before it's too late and you have to wait super long before you can do it again. Maybe you've decided not to sort any students, well, be sure to stalk the topic anyway and see who the members of that new class are. And see what mischief that hat is getting up to. If you have an older student who attends another magical school, why not apply for a transfer, Hogwarts New Zealand is where all the fun is!

Start of Year Feast
The start of year feast has now been posted. It's an opportunity to announce your characters return to the school, and for them to enjoy the food placed in front of them. Students and professors are encouraged to post. The topic can be found HERE.
Quidditch Try-Out
The all important quidditch try-outs are happening right now. The format is however a little different from previous years. Players who were on the team in Y19 should post in the topic, but do not need to re-try-out, there will positions available on each team from members who've graduated or left, so, people in 2nd year and above should try-out. There are unlimited spaces for Alternates!
1st years who wish to try out should contact the team captain before doing so.

New Head People and Prefects
As is the norm at this time of year, we have new Prefects and head people. A very big congrats to those characters who've achieved those positions and it is well deserved for all of them.

Clubs!
Here at Hogwarts there are a lot of clubs that students can sign up form and take part in. Be sure to sign up your students to as many or as few clubs to take part in school events with each club, and to get their picture in the yearbook a couple more times. Club leaders should remember to post a sign-up sheet. Clubs are a place to meet people and just have fun!
Professors and Shopkeeper
There are a number of positions available around Hogwarts for folks. We have a few professor positions available, if you think you'd like to have a character who is a professor be sure to apply and maybe you'll get it. Being a professor is a lot of work, so be sure that you can commit the time needed for it! There are also a couple of Shopkeeper positions available, so if you are interested in such a thing, apply! It's less work than being a professor, but still greatly appreciated. The professor applications will be closing tomorrow, so you only have a limited amount of time to get those applications in!

The New Term!
The new term is on the verge of beginning, so you need to remember to register your students to classes when the time comes. All those who are 3rd year and above should remember to sign up to all their classes. 1st and 2nd years do not need to do this, since they are automatically signed up to classes.
With the new term coming quickly, folks should keep that in mind with their topics in the Wider Wizarding World.
Accio!
Y19 of Accio has now been released. Thanks to the efforts of the Accio! Staff team for once again putting it together. It looks great! You can look at it Here.
Anonymous Compliments
Once again, the anonymous compliments were a huge success. A big thanks to everyone who took part in it. The compliments were all super sweet and it was a lovely thing to do. Thanks should also be extended to the members of MESSI who put together the graphics and organised the entire thing!
