Celeste raised an eyebrow at his wording. It seemed like a sensitive subject. She reached out and placed her hand over his for a brief second before pulling it back. She sat back, crossing her legs. "Well, fancy longlegs," She teased. "Independence is well and good." She mused, sipping at her drink. "At least you got some good places to eat, I hope," she teased him again, winking playfully.

Caelan exhaled in relief, his heart skipped a beat at her touch. He covered his shock with a small chuckle. "Now, you're making my moniker longer." He smiled in gratitude at her words. It was a start and he decided right there and then that the next time she asked about his family, he would not hesitate. He chuckled at what she said next. "Sure, good places to eat.", he laughed. "As long as you're free to come to eat with me.", he added.

Celeste laughed lightly. "Would you prefer good sir lord fancypants longlegs your magnificence?" She teased him, giving a mock bow with a flourish of her hand and ducking her head. She raised a brow when he retorted. "Oh aye," she agreed easily. "If you're still paying," she teased him with a playful wink.

Caelan laughed even loudly at Celeste's comeback. "I'd prefer anything if that would mean I get to escort Lady Punch?", he teased back, a small bow of his own. Their food finally came before he got the chance to respond to her playful question. He thanked the server before turning his attention to the woman and the food. "Alright, I'll be paying. Shall we?", he said, gesturing to their food, letting the woman have her first bite.

Celeste smiled, pleased that their food arrived. She was sure that he was going to pay anyway, but she let him think it was a new idea. She hummed lightly as she dug into her food, thinking it was the best food she'd had in a while. "It's good," she reassured him, tucking into her food again. She sipped her wine, already enjoying herself. "So, good sir lord fancypants longlegs your magnificence, do you come here often?" She asked.

Caelan watched as Celeste took the first bite, commenting on its exquisite taste. "Told you.", he winked before digging into his food as well. The dinner was delicious while the company was more than welcome. "Well, I try to come here once a month.", he replied as he looked at her. "Come on, Lady Punch. There are lots of restaurants to explore but this definitely is one of my favorite go-to places.", letting out a low chuckle. Dinner had ended on an enjoyable note and they enjoyed the rest of the night walking around the area before they parted ways. Caelan went home a bit disappointed that he was not able to tell her how he felt. Then again, it was still a success and he just hoped there would be another chance.
